Plan of a gazebo for barbecue with a terrace. How to build a gazebo with barbecue? Barbecue gazebo design ideas. Why is a brick brazier better than metal

It is not surprising that gazebos with a barbecue can turn banal cooking into a really pleasant pastime and even a kind of culinary magic, because the event will be held on an open fire. Few dishes are as popular as juicy kebabs that are cooked on the grill.

Today we will find out how to get even more pleasure from this process! Let's get acquainted with the best options gazebos with barbecue, consider the drawings and several detailed master classes.

What you should know about gazebos with barbecue

Today, a gazebo with a barbecue is already something more than a place for barbecue. Here, according to many, there should be all the amenities that are available in the house. In addition to the brazier itself, a stove, smokehouse, brazier and more can be located here. There are many options, we will immediately make a reservation, but you should choose only one of them - the one that best suits your needs. In any case, often a small gazebo, in which there is only a minimum of the most necessary, as more comfortable than a pretentious building, “stuffed” with all possible devices.

You can add a cooking area. In the case of a small gazebo near the barbecue, you can place a sink and a table in order to turn it all into a true summer kitchen. Take care of the tabletop in advance (it should be easy to clean), as well as a small shelf that will store the most commonly used kitchen tools. If possible, install a refrigerator there for more convenient storage of drinks and, of course, meat.

The space must be used practically. The traditional dining area of such a gazebo is a dining table and benches. However, if your plan is to save space, you can make the benches slide under the table (this will give you more room to maneuver while cooking).

Take care of cleanliness! In terms of the use of materials, all elements of the structure must be durable, resistant to outdoor use, and they must also be easy to clean. Simply put, it is better to give preference to metal (pre-treated), stone or wood (also processed).

The chef should be comfortable. It will hardly be pleasant for him to cook, hearing explosions of cheerful laughter behind him. His place should be isolated from the epicenter of the party, but at the same time he should be able to quickly turn into the "highlight of the program." Perfect option- this is a good bar counter, somewhat raised from the side of the cooking zone. Can a feast begin with something more pleasing to the eye than the sight of a chef preparing meat on the grill?

The gazebo should be warm. In case of cold weather, you can use special PVC curtains in the building. If you do not intend to purchase such curtains, you can easily make them with your own hands - for this, purchase a PVC film, cut it out in accordance with the dimensions of the openings, wrap it around with a thick fabric, subsequently equipping the eyelets on the edges. In order to fix these curtains inside the gazebo with a barbecue, thread a cord through the eyelets.

Note! You can also take care of auxiliary heat sources - install, for example, IR lamps, preferably where there are zones of maximum functionality (near the place of cooking, next to the table).

If the brazier is not equipped with an exhaust, it is better not to place it inside the gazebo - instead, install it nearby. Take care of a high-quality canopy over the barbecue (you also need to think about the comfort of the cook), otherwise a sudden rain can easily interfere with your plans.

You can equip an open hearth. And not only next to the gazebo, but also on the edge of the building. Such a hearth will serve as an additional surface for cooking, on which, for example, you can cook kulesh.

Take care of an additional seating area. Equip next to the gazebo, say, a paved area or, as an option, an additional canopy - a kind of extension to the gazebo, a separate umbrella and so on.

And if the climate in your region is cool, then a separate gazebo can also act as a recreation area.

Take care of a comfortable firewood. Near the building there should be a place where firewood would be stored. So you will not go to the other end of the site for fuel.

From the gazebo with barbecue you can make an entrance to the basement. This means that the refrigerator inside can not be installed, and the entrance itself will look more harmonious (when compared with a lonely mound in the yard).

Quality lighting is key Have a good mood! If you take care of the bright lighting of the gazebo, then in tandem with the general lighting of the site, it will provide a harmonious and functional atmosphere. It is important that the cooking area is illuminated particularly brightly, while the table and the relaxation area can be equipped with adjustable lighting (in order to create the same special mood).

Don't forget about security measures! Be sure to ground each electrical appliances! For wiring outdoors, use a special cable; in addition, additionally treat all wood elements with a flame retardant.

The correct location of the gazebo. This should be the coziest corner of your garden. While the summer kitchen is more profitable to be located directly near the house, placing a gazebo at a distance also has its advantages. So, you will provide yourself with a kind of "escape" from the daily hustle and bustle, enjoying the silence and luxury of the garden instead.

Take care of good decoration. A garden gazebo is a great chance to test yourself in choosing decorative elements. And the decor in this case will consist not only in the decorations on the walls, but also in the flowers on the table, attractive kitchen utensils, curtains and more. Turn your gazebo into your personal retreat!

Combine the structure with landscape elements to highlight the entire area in the garden.

You can take care of the original addition near the gazebo in order to emphasize the importance of this entire area. For example, set up a small flower bed or a small kitchen garden.

Gazebo with barbecue - the best projects

Not everyone can afford to build a gazebo from expensive Siberian pine. For this reason, we bring to your attention several functional, but rather simple gazebo projects. For their manufacture, quite ordinary materials are used, the projects themselves are not complicated and are available to almost every owner of a suburban area.

Option one. Structure with bathroom and barbecue

Option two. The project of a gazebo equipped with a washbasin, pantry and barbecue

Option three. Arbor, where there is a barbecue, as well as the entrance to the bathhouse and basement

Option four. The original design of the hexagonal shape with barbecue

Option five. A project with a pantry, a sauna and, again, a barbecue

It should also be noted that the gazebo options described in the article acquire in last years increasing popularity. If weather conditions allow, then in such a structure you can gather guests at the festive table - it will be much more pleasant and less troublesome than if the feast was traditionally held in the house. So you and your loved ones can really relax!

But maybe there are some other important elements that you can add to your gazebo with a barbecue? Yes, there are some - they are described in detail in the thematic video below.

Video - Examples of designing gazebos with barbecue

Now, having familiarized yourself with the main important nuances and some simple projects, can proceed directly to manufacturing. Consider a few step-by-step instructions illustrated with high-quality images.

Master Class. Making a wooden gazebo with barbecue

As you probably guessed, the structure itself in this case will be made of wood, and the brazier will be brick. In the manufacture, we recommend using boards and beams 6 meters long - this way you will significantly reduce the amount of waste.

First you need to choose a suitable place, as well as decide on the configuration of the future building. Be sure to keep the following important points in mind.

  1. Don't forget about fire safety! Inside the gazebo there will be an open hearth, and therefore do not build it in the immediate vicinity of the house.
  2. It is also important that Entrance door“looked” at the entrance to the gazebo (this requirement is related to the convenience of serving the dining table).

When you decide on a place, outline, using sand, the contours of the future object. The design described below will be octagonal and with a round base. To "draw" this circle, it is convenient to use a pipe fixed to the ground with a rope tied to it. Due to the fact that the weight of the structure is negligible, small columns of concrete can act as a base. It is recommended to remove the soil under the posts by pouring a mixture of sand and gravel instead (thanks to this, you will be able to level the height).

Perform the lower strapping from a bar 10x10 centimeters. Use a cardboard template so as not to make mistakes when determining the angles of the cut. Cross beams are made from a board 5x10 centimeters. Additionally, you can fasten the strapping elements with iron corners (inside and outside) to make the gazebo more stable. Give preference to 90/135 degree galvanized corners. Be sure to lay roofing material between concrete columns and beams for waterproofing.

As for the floor of your gazebo with barbecue, use the same edged board 5x10 centimeters. Cut the required amount to size immediately. Outside, plan the boards with a planer, and treat the inner surfaces with an antiseptic (at least two layers). To fasten the floor boards, use screws, then once again check the levelness of the strapping with a level.

As for the upper strapping, it is most convenient to make it at the bottom. So you will be able to adjust the length of the rafters and locks. Make the strappings and the rafters themselves from the same board.

The roof of this gazebo, as noted earlier, will have an octagonal shape. Therefore, the lock of the rafters should also be octagonal. For its manufacture, use a beam of 10x10 centimeters. Pay special attention to the placement of supports for the bars! The octahedron for their installation is extended with the help of 1.5 cm boards.

Now start making rafters. Make a cut in the form of a triangle at the bottom of the fastening. You will use it as the bottom lock.

Samu roof structure, as before, build the upper trim on the ground to make it easier to correct minor defects.

The structure will be held on ten support pillars made of timber 10x10 centimeters. Saw off their ends at an angle of 90 degrees - this will greatly simplify the installation process. To attach the supports to the base, use galvanized corners 10.5x10.5x9x0.2 centimeters. Periodically check the structure using the building level. Slopes (at least in our example) are not required.

After that, install the top trim and truss system. Use 90/135 degree angles and metal connection plates when installing.

For the construction of the roof, use inch boards, the width of which is 10 and 15 centimeters. Lay them close to each other, start from the bottom and move in a circle until you reach the top of the structure. To fasten each board, use four self-tapping screws (two per side) so that the roof does not deform over time.

You can start building a brick barbecue. First, dig a 40 cm pit for the base.

Build formwork. You can use for it, as in our example, boards from old pallets.

Cover the formwork with roofing material, securing it with a mounting stapler.

Lay reinforcement in the pit, fill the foundation with concrete (sand and cement in a ratio of 3 to 1). The cement itself must be M250, in total You will need about five bags.

Sew up the perimeter of the structure with an imitation of a log 4.5x14.6 centimeters. So the frame will be more rigid, and the design itself will be more attractive.

Make window sills from a board 5x10 centimeters. For fixing, use all the same corners.

Make benches from a grooved board, reinforcing the ends with metal plates.

Decorate the barbecue area of the gazebo with a barbecue with a wooden grill to divide the space of the structure (use 1.5x2 cm bars).

Now that the gazebo is almost built, start building the barbecue itself. We recommend to abandon the frills and use simple drawings.

For work you will need:

  • 360 red bricks;
  • 90 units of refractory bricks;
  • oven umbrella made of galvanized steel;
  • 175 kilograms of oven mixture;
  • 7 meters of hot-rolled corner (dimensions - 4x4x0.4 centimeters);
  • 50 kilograms of refractory mixture.

When laying bricks, follow a few simple recommendations. Do not use too thick a mortar in order to be able to adjust the bricks after installation. The thickness of the seam should be 3 mm. And finally, do not rush - lead the masonry according to the level. In principle, this is where our instruction ends. All subsequent actions are well understood by the pictures below.

At the end, cover the roof with bituminous tiles, fixing it with a mounting stapler and nails, and the structure itself should be treated with an antiseptic and varnish.

Master Class. Construction of a brick gazebo

If you prefer brick rather than wood, we recommend that you read the step-by-step instructions for building a brick gazebo with a barbecue. We will not talk about the features of choosing a suitable place and the marking procedure, since all this has already been described in the previous section of the article. In other words, let's get down to business!

The weight of the future brick structure will be impressive, and therefore the foundation in this case must necessarily be reinforced and monolithic. Having completed with the construction of the foundation, feel free to start laying the walls.

For the manufacture of the rafter system, you can use the same materials and technology as for the previous version of the gazebo.

It is better to lay the bricks of the first row “dry”, that is, without using mortar.

Build a firewood shed, which will additionally serve as the basis for a smokehouse and barbecue.

Continue self-laying barbecue. The next step is the construction of the firebox and countertops. If you want, you can additionally equip a niche for storing dishes.

In addition, you must install a stove under the cauldron. In the image below you can see an example with removable rings.

Now that the base of the barbecue is finished, you can start laying out the countertop using fireclay bricks for it.

Remember that when laying bricks at this stage, a refractory mixture must be used without fail!

After that, proceed to the organization of the chimney, as well as the manufacture of the channel for the smokehouse.

The stove (at least in this example) will be Russian. Start forming a hearth for her.

Do not forget that each of the rows must be reinforced with steel wire.

It is also important that the walls are laid out at the same time. To check the accuracy of the work performed, use building level.

Finish with the stove vault.

The back wall in the example described here is somewhat extended.

You will have to spend a lot of time working, but the results will surely warm your soul.

Continue building. Install smoker doors. Also finish with arches over the brazier, the stove itself and the hob.

As for the stitching, it is not necessary to do it yourself - your assistant can do the procedure instead.

You can additionally install a grid made of "stainless steel" above the stove. Subsequently, this mesh is very useful for drying mushrooms, berries or dishes.

How exactly to equip and close the roof has already been written in detail in the previous section of the article.

The process of building a brick gazebo is being completed, the object can already be started to operate.

Organize the water supply to the sink at the back of the structure. AT winter time you can always turn off the water.

As for the pipe, it is better to make it three-channel, so that the thrust is subsequently more stable.

Do not forget to necessarily cover the entire masonry with a special water-repellent impregnation.

In about a week, the structure will dry completely. Everything, now certainly the further use of the gazebo with barbecue!

Master Class. Brick brazier step by step

Traditionally, the construction of a brick brazier begins with the construction of a reliable foundation. The dimensions of the latter should be selected in accordance with the dimensions of the future structure.

First, dig a pit and arrange wooden formwork along its walls (you can use all the same old pallets). Fill the foundation with concrete, having previously completed the reinforcement. Wait for the concrete to harden completely (this usually takes 7 to 14 days).

When the concrete dries, start directly building the barbecue.

It is very useful to have a ready-made drawing on hand - it will help to more accurately determine the number of required Supplies. These include:

  • fireclay brick;
  • lime;
  • steel wire for reinforcement;
  • reinforcing bars or, alternatively, mesh;
  • cement;
  • galvanized corners;
  • sand.

Such a brick perfectly absorbs moisture, and therefore it is recommended to lay waterproofing under it. The best option is roofing material laid in several layers. Now you can start directly construction work.

Prepare mortar by mixing lime, sand and cement in a ratio of 3/4:3:1. You will use the finished mixture for laying bricks.

Directly during laying, be extremely careful and accurate. Align the bricks, also be sure to follow the seams.

Remember that the rows must be stacked in a checkerboard pattern. Start laying from the corner, then successively fill the side space.

Obviously, the brazier will be exposed to high temperatures. Therefore, for laying the second row, it is imperative to use fireclay clay mixture.

To build a base under the brazier, install reinforcing bars between the walls. On the latter, install the base of the furnace (as such, you can use, say, an iron pan).

For efficient combustion of fuel, it is necessary that oxygen is constantly supplied inside. To this end, leave a few gaps in the masonry that are not filled with mortar.

Install a grate over the rods, select a suitable countertop.

Master Class. Country barbecue made of bricks

Such a barbecue is the most suitable option for a suburban area. The construction is simple, but reliable and durable. Step-by-step instruction, which is given below, will help you do everything quickly and correctly.

To get started, make a detailed plan. Below is an approximate diagram, however, you must take into account the fact that your oven will have its own characteristics - both decorative and structural.

Think in advance about a niche for fuel, as well as a place for a grill (it should be located at a height of about 0.6-0.7 meters), while the oven should be about 10 centimeters lower.

Having finished with the drafting of the project, go directly to practice. Start work, as in the case of the previous options, with the construction of the foundation.

The base in this case must also be reinforced and monolithic. Dig a pit about 50 centimeters deep, fill the bottom with a gravel-crushed stone mixture, pour water over it and tamp it down well.

Proceed with the installation of reinforcement, form a frame. Make the formwork and fill the foundation with concrete.

After about two weeks, when the concrete is completely dry, start building the brick barbecue.

Lay out the oven using fireclay bricks. It is so inexpensive, but it is durable and resistant to critical temperatures. Prepare red clay, sand and cement in advance (all this will be required to prepare the mortar).

Note! Clay must be poured with water and wait at least a few days.

Prepare the mortar and start laying. Do not rush during work, act according to the plan, gradually lay out each new row. Regularly check the quality of work with a building level.

Lay out a pedestal under the barbecue. No more than 70 centimeters high.

Row #2 should be offset by 1/2 brick.

The depth of the furnace should be at least 3 bricks, while the length should be 6. Use the same fireclay bricks, and place reinforcing bars on the floors.

At the end add decorative elements to your taste. Clean the masonry from excess mortar, you can paint the structure with paint to visually highlight the seams. In principle, it is already possible to start operating the structure.

Now you know everything about gazebos with barbecue, their features, types and construction options. Don't forget to watch another helpful video at the end of the article! Good luck with your work!

Video - Making a brazier with your own hands

No matter how beautiful and comfortable country house, in summer, the life of its inhabitants passes near the gazebo with barbecue facilities.

Here you can have a leisurely chat, play with children and treat your friends with culinary masterpieces of your own production.

A simple gazebo for a summer residence is built in a few days, and its cost is not burdensome even with modest family incomes. There is no upper "bar" for architectural creativity and decoration.

Therefore, many owners turn this facility into a testing ground for testing original solutions design.

Most often used in country arbors. This material is beautiful and inexpensive, and its laying with a competent approach will not make it difficult even for a novice stove-maker.

We will try not to miss any interesting option these buildings. We hope that home masters, after reading this article, will receive good food for thought and useful practical advice for construction.

Structurally, any gazebo is an ordinary canopy that stands on brick, wooden or metal poles. Gender forms concrete screed or boardwalk mounted on a wooden frame.

The most important part of the structure is the roof. To assemble its supporting frame, you can use metal or wood. They cover the roof of the gazebo with polycarbonate, metal or bituminous tiles. Less common are options with reed, straw or wood shingles.

If you intend to build a gazebo yourself, without experience in roofing works then choose the most simple design. Is it single or double wooden roof, which is based on four, six or eight pillars (the number of support pillars depends on the size).

Having outlined the action plan for the home master, let's move on to considering specific design and use options. different materials to build this structure.

Examples of design solutions for barbecue arbors

The easiest to implement and aesthetically pleasing option in terms of design is a gazebo with a barbecue, assembled from metal profile pipes. As a coating here, it is best to use corrugated board or metal tiles. They have enough rigidity to do without a plywood or OSB backing. The fastening of the steel profiled coating to the crate is simple and quick - the self-tapping screws are screwed directly into the profile.

As you can see in the photo, the owner decided not to philosophize with the fence. He simply put the gazebo near the metal fence, intuitively guessing the optimal style of the composition. Colored paving slabs were chosen for the floor. This is a good economy option, eliminating the laborious work of pouring concrete base. The only place where a monolithic foundation is appropriate is the base for a brick hearth. It has a fairly large mass, so paving slabs here it is better to replace with 15-20 cm of reinforced concrete.

The next example is a gazebo with a barbecue, built of wood and topped with a multi-pitched hipped roof.

Pay attention to how well its frame is made. Pillars-racks from below and from above are rigidly tied into a spatial frame. The floor is planked and rests on wooden antiseptic logs.

The base of the gazebo is slightly raised above the ground and lined with well-draining material - crushed stone and river pebbles. Even a heavy downpour will not damage such a structure. Water will quickly go into the ground, so wooden base will not rot and warp.

The owner made the roof from metal tiles. She can't be called best material for such a complex roof (a lot of waste) and expensive ridge elements. Most likely, the choice fell on metal tiles because they were used on the main residential building (it can be seen in the right corner).

Helpful advice: when choosing materials and design for a building, try to naturally link it with appearance the main building on the site. The estate complex looks very good, in which there are no sharp contrasts between the decoration of the house and the gazebo.

A wooden frame is good not only for housing, but also as original decor for a gazebo. If on your site there is already log house, then a summer gazebo with cutting elements will perfectly complement it.

Openwork wooden lattices, not too thick, but not very rare (cell 15-20 cm), will add coziness and beauty to the interior space. Artificial stone is used to finish the barbecue, and shelves and countertops are made of natural granite.

The dense wooden batten on the roof indicates that bituminous shingles were used as a covering (requires a solid base). Very convenient design for the hood - an umbrella with a pipe made of sheet metal. It is not as expressive as a solid brickwork and arched lintels over the barbecue, but much easier to manufacture.

Forging in the design of the gazebo goes well with oak racks. To decorate a homemade metal lattice, it is not necessary to master the profession of a blacksmith. Any element of such a decor can be purchased for a moderate fee and then simply attached to the metal by welding.

The appearance of pavilions with barbecue, made of rounded logs, is fabulously beautiful.

Flagstone looks good in the decoration of the basement and barbecue (flat natural stone or its reliable imitation).

If you want to use natural wood racks in your construction, then pay special attention to the points of their connection with the foundation. Wood is not friendly with concrete, consider this fact.

The photo shows good option"adapter" between these materials. This is a steel "glass" with reinforcement embedded in the concrete floor. The heel of a wooden column in it will not collapse from dampness.

To reduce drafts, one of the sides of the gazebo can be made deaf, and easily removable screens can be placed on the others. They will protect you from strong wind and slanting rain.

In passing, we note that a closed gazebo is a more practical option than an open canopy over the barbecue. A minimum of modifications and your building can be used not only in hot weather, but also in wet bad weather.

If the area is not capital house, then for short visits to nature, you can build a gazebo with a glazed fence.

Design options for such a design are countless. In the photo we see a very original and nice solution. Showcase glazing is used on three sides. The roof on one side rests on the main walls of the economic department. The remaining parts of the roof are supported by two powerful frames that act as a facade accent.

Fans of minimalist style will love the building, the design of which is borrowed from science fiction films.

Would you like to get away from straight lines and make an original hipped roof? A pair of OSB sheets, a bent metal profile and shingles. That's all it takes to create a beautiful canopy.

Like classical proportions want more sun and air? Please, here is an option with a glass roof and huge windows. A stationary brazier with a pipe in it will be inappropriate, but a lightweight mobile structure for frying kebabs located nearby is what you need.

Supporters of the organic style in architecture can be advised to build such a gazebo.

The tree trunks, used as poles, fit perfectly into the surrounding landscape, and the wooden shingle roof naturally complements the composition. Looking at this photo, you ask, where is the brazier for the gazebo? He literally "asks" under the roof to fill the building with comfort and coziness. When preparing such a project, do not forget that you need to allocate a place for the hearth in advance. Otherwise, you will have problems when skipping chimney through the roof.

We note in our review that there are barbecue arbors, where the hearth is located outside the main structure.

The photo shows one of these structures. In addition to the external placement of the barbecue, the design of the gazebo roof is interesting. It is made from bent wooden beams, the gaps between which are filled with a decorative lattice.

You can rest here only in the dry summer season. If desired, the seasonality of the structure can be expanded. To do this, openwork wooden gratings on the roof must be covered with transparent polycarbonate.

The nuances of building a gazebo with a barbecue with your own hands

In which it is planned to build a brick barbecue, it should be spacious enough. Keep this in mind when making a preliminary sketch. We recommend choosing its length within 2.5-3 meters with a width of 3.5-4 meters.

As we said above, the easiest way to build a barbecue gazebo is from metal. To do this, it is enough for a home master to learn how to connect a profiled pipe by electric welding and cut it with a grinder.

The assembly sequence of the metal frame is as follows:

  1. We dig 4 shallow holes (40-50 cm) in the corners of the site;
  2. We put metal racks in the pits;
  3. We expose them on a plumb line and align the upper ends in a horizontal plane;
  4. We concrete the racks and give the supports 5-7 days to gain strength;
  5. We weld horizontal pipes along the upper cut of the racks, forming a stiffening belt;
  6. We set the extreme end rafters from a profiled pipe according to the plumb line and level, connect them with a ridge pipe and weld them to a horizontal belt;
  7. We stretch a beacon cord between the rafters and put intermediate rafter legs along it (we choose their step depending on the size of the sheet roofing material - slate, OSB or metal tiles).
  8. Parallel to the ridge pipe and the lower strapping belt, we attach intermediate pipes (battens) to the rafters.

The fencing option can be chosen according to your taste, using light wood gratings, thick fabric screens, stained glass windows or forging. To attach them to the main frame at the selected points, you need to fix horizontal pipe(20x40 mm).

As soon as the snow melts and the first grass breaks through, people begin to make forays into nature. It is convenient to arrange traditional picnics with barbecue in the country, in a comfortable gazebo. A garden house with barbecue or barbecue is a great place to relax on a country plot. This design is purchased from ready-made, or a gazebo with a barbecue is being built with your own hands.

You will learn more about how to build a gazebo with a barbecue on your own, pick up a barbecue and arrange a room from this article, and our photo gallery will show pictures of beautiful garden houses with a seating area.

Varieties and features of gazebos with barbecue

The brazier is a rectangular metal structure in the form of a box on four legs. Mangals are distinguished:

  • stationary - massive structures that have a foundation and are made of stone, brick;

Photo of a barbecue oven for a gazebo built of bricks

  • portable - lightweight mobile structures that can be installed anywhere.

A small portable barbecue grill allows you to cook barbecue anywhere

The choice of barbecue for the gazebo

Even at the design stage, you should decide on the type of barbecue. Exist:

  • compact collapsible designs that quickly unfold and fold into a suitcase;
On a note: these braziers are cheap, but quickly deform from strong heat.

Compact folding brazier

  • metal grills. These metal structures are light, reliable and durable. Steel walls withstand high temperatures, so fire can be kindled inside the box;

Metal barbecue equipment

  • brick grills. They look large and will last a long time, but they are heavy and laborious in execution;

Reliable brick brazier

  • electric design - suitable for those who can not stand the smell of smoke.

Types of country arbors with barbecue

Since when cooking on the grill we are dealing with an open fire, the gazebo must be equipped in a certain way - the fire must be reliably isolated.

There are different projects of gazebos with barbecue: large buildings equipped with a whole complex for cooking, or standard gazebos with a small barbecue. The final choice of one or another type depends on the owner of the site.

As for the material for building such a garden house, the most popular options are brick and wood. They are simple and economical to build.

Wooden structures are beautiful and environmentally friendly. Wood is an inexpensive material that can be easily processed, so you can build a wooden gazebo for a summer residence with a barbecue with your own hands. This building has the following advantages:

  • presentable appearance;
  • construction speed;
  • low cost;
  • can be installed on a lightweight foundation.

Attention: when installing a barbecue in a wooden gazebo, take care of safety measures.

Garden houses made of wood are often made open or semi-open so that smoke can freely escape from the room. But there are also Finnish pavilions, closed wooden houses, in the center of which there is a grill. It sits on a stone tabletop. To prevent smoke from accumulating in the room, a special hood for the barbecue is installed in the gazebo.

A warm gazebo with barbecue, built according to Finnish technology, is ideal for our latitudes

If a wooden structure can be temporary, then a gazebo with a barbecue grill made of bricks is a capital structure. The material is not afraid of sparks and coal, moreover, it will last for many years without requiring special care. Brick gazebos are not only reliable, but also warm.

On a note: although a brick structure is more expensive than a wooden one, it has better performance and can be used even in the winter season.

The stone construction is strong and reliable. Structures made of stone will last for several decades, while they do not require special care.

Please note: and stone and brick buildings are quite heavy, so they require laying a solid foundation.

The best way to create a beautiful, reliable and at the same time inexpensive gazebo is to use a combination various materials. This will save money on construction, while improving the performance of the building. The photo gallery will demonstrate examples of the construction of combined gazebos with barbecue facilities.

The technology of building a gazebo with barbecue

How to do garden house with a barbecue area? Consider the construction of a summer gazebo with a brick fireplace.

Design

Before starting construction, you should decide on the type of structure. Distinguish:

  • open buildings under a canopy, without any fences;
  • covered gazebos with barbecue - spacious capital structures like a house;
  • combined buildings of semi-open type.

Winter gazebos with barbecue - warm and cozy even in cold winter

Advice: glazed gazebos with barbecue facilities can be used at any time of the year, but even when choosing an open structure, make sure that there is a roof or canopy above it to protect it from wind and rain.

Preparatory work

The holiday home should be located in a comfortable and picturesque place. The best for these purposes is a flat clearing, located in the shade of trees, or next to a pond.

Preparation of materials

To build a building you will need:

  • clinker brick for a gazebo;
  • fireclay brick (refractory) for a stove with a barbecue;
  • cement mortar;
  • a metal plate for the hearth and gratings;
  • steel fittings;
  • hammer, nails, chisel, shovel, saw, level.

Foundation laying

For brick building you need to lay a solid foundation. Most suitable option there will be a tape reinforced foundation, the size of which depends on the dimensions of the barbecue itself, as well as how many people should fit in the gazebo.

Attention: optimal height foundation above ground level - 30 cm, depth - about 40 cm.

  • open type. This type of country house has no walls, but the roof is present. The advantage of such a gazebo is unity with nature.

However, open gazebos are disadvantageous in that they cannot be used between October and April.

  • closed type. Closed buildings are considered more versatile. After all, you can relax in them at any time, as they are glazed. And also such a building is often used as a guest house.

  • Braziers. The installation of the brazier must begin with the gazebo.

It is better to place it in the corner near the farthest wall.

Some of the owners of gazebos are trying to combine a smokehouse with a compact barbecue. Many additionally install even a portable stove. It is very comfortable and does not take up too much space.

  • B-B-Q. The barbecue stove is also built of brick. With its appearance, it remotely resembles a traditional barbecue. But still there is a difference. Grills complement the basis of the barbecue, and not the skewers that come with the kit. There are many interesting projects arbors, supplemented by this particular design. It is very good if there is a table and a washstand nearby.

If the design is portable, then it is better to place it in the center. However, it is worth remembering that there should be a hood above it.

  • Russian stove. To date, the Russian stove is most often used in the arrangement of gazebos. Its main advantage is versatility. After all, in the oven you can not only fry meat, but also cook other dishes. In addition, a Russian stove can decorate any building that is made in the Russian style.

Projects: materials, shapes, dimensions

Pavilions with barbecues are very different. These can be large structures, which are equipped not only with a barbecue, but also with a whole complex for cooking, and small gazebos, equipped with a small barbecue. But it all depends on the choice of the owner.

When choosing materials for a garden gazebo with a barbecue or barbecue, it is necessary to take into account the presence of an open fire. Therefore, the materials must be appropriate, that is, be resistant to fire and high temperatures.

The most popular materials for building gazebos are brick and wood. These are the most affordable and economical options.

Arbors made of wood

wooden structures very beautiful and environmentally friendly. In addition, wood is one of the most inexpensive materials, easily amenable to any processing. Everyone, even a completely inexperienced person, can install such a building, equipped with a barbecue, with his own hands.

This design has many advantages:

  • beautiful appearance;
  • fairly low price;
  • the design is easy to install;
  • installed on a very light foundation.

The only drawback is flammability. Therefore, it is worth taking care of some safety measures for the selected furnace, as well as treating the wood with special impregnations. Arbors made of wood are most often semi-open or open. This is done so that the smoke can freely exit the gazebo.

But there are also Finnish gazebos of a closed type, in the center of which there is a grill. It is installed directly on the stone countertop.

In such a building, there must be an exhaust hood so that the smoke comes out.

Brick gazebo

If a wooden gazebo considered temporary, then a brick building with a barbecue can be used at any time of the year. After all, they are not afraid of rain or fire. Such material does not ignite and can serve for a dozen years, while not requiring special attention. In addition, brick gazebos are very warm.

But such gazebos also have disadvantages. As brick is a rather heavy material, then the foundation for such a building must be made solid, which is a very laborious task. In addition, the materials used for construction are too expensive.

Forged gazebo

Such gazebos are most often bought ready-made. They are made to order. The price is directly related to the size and complexity of the construction of the model.

Forged gazebos with barbecue have many advantages:

  • if you use primers and paints, then such structures will stand for many years;
  • they are quite fire resistant, so placing a brazier and a barbecue in them, you can not worry about your safety;
  • such gazebos set in a romantic mood.

Separately, it is worth considering the materials that are often used for laying stoves and barbecues, as well as some facing works.

  • Basalt. This is a material that has a great color scheme from light green to dark green. He is the best option for laying any stoves in the garden gazebo. Often basalt is used for building cladding. It has excellent features. This is both a rather high hardness of the material, and low temperature its melting point, and chemical resistance.

  • Vermiculite. Such material is often used for lining furnaces. It consists of golden crystals of the basalt mineral. Vermiculite has the following characteristics: low price, good thermal insulation and high density.

  • Clay. This material is the basis for the construction of ovens and barbecues. Clay is the most affordable and at the same time pleases with its quality. It has been used for the construction of furnaces for more than one century.

  • A rock. If you build a furnace from natural stone, then it will delight not only with its practicality, but also with its appearance. Such material has increased strength, is not afraid of temperature changes.

Having decided to build a garden gazebo with a barbecue and a barbecue, one should not forget about the size of the building corresponding to the size of the "culinary corner". For example, if the building has a brick brazier, then it should be at least three meters.

Stoves: choice, safety and care

To properly install the stove in the garden gazebo, you must take into account some points.

  1. It must be protected from any atmospheric precipitation.
  2. The foundation of this furnace should be located slightly above the level melt water. This is especially true if it is finished with clay.
  3. According to fire safety regulations, barbecues must be located at least three meters from the walls of the building.
  4. A gazebo with a barbecue must be placed away from the gas pipeline and power lines.

The stove itself can be made from different materials. For example, cast iron the main parts of the barbecue oven are made. This is the hearth itself, grill, grills, lining and skewer.

But also masonry can be one of the options for a barbecue oven. brick and fireproof. Masonry is done using a solution of sand and clay in a ratio of three to one. The solution itself should be the consistency of thick sour cream. The oven is laid out in the shape of the letter "P"; while its height should be less than one meter.

If you plan to install a fireplace, then gratings must be installed between parallel sides so that there are gaps of up to twenty centimeters between them. A chimney in the form of a cone is installed above them.

If it is decided to install a barbecue in the garden gazebo, then at the planning stage you need to decide whether it will be portable or built-in.

Portable structures are convenient in that they can be moved to any place. But still built-in braziers are much more functional, as they have many additional elements. These are shelves for storing dishes, and a countertop, and even a niche for storing firewood. This design is quite massive, so the foundation must be solid. It is recommended to place the brazier on the north side.

With barbecue grill and stove. It is here that the summer life of the inhabitants of the dacha passes: meeting friends, playing with children, treating guests to culinary delights.

A simple barbecue gazebo for a summer residence can be made in a couple of days if you use a ready-made stove. brick ovens barbecue in the gazebo can be done with your own hands.

Any gazebo can be considered as a canopy made on metal, wooden or brick pillars. The floor creates a boardwalk or concrete screed. When assembling the supporting frame of the roof, wood or metal is used. The material for the roofs of the gazebo is polycarbonate, shingles, or a metal profile. Want to do beautiful gazebo with barbecue and barbecue on their own? In this case, select a finished project with gable roof, based on four or six pillars.

The main materials for the barbecue oven and gazebos:

  • vermiculite;
  • basalt;
  • fireclay brick;
  • clay;
  • tiles;
  • a natural stone;
  • stainless steel;
  • wood;
  • copper;
  • clinker;

You can combine several materials at once while building a garden gazebo. So that the traditional gazebo does not stand out from the general landscape suburban area, its exterior can be decorated with a variety of garden shrubs and plants.

Material options for a classic gazebo

Attention ! the main problem when constructing a gazebo with a barbecue - the compliance of the furnace with numerous building and fire safety requirements and regulations.

Construction of a gazebo with a stove at their summer cottage

For the correct placement of the stove in the gazebo, you must consider the following points:

Advice ! It is best to build the furnace part and the chimney from red oven bricks.

From cast iron, it is desirable to make the following components of the oven - barbecue:

  • lining;
  • fireplace (hearth);
  • grill;
  • grid-irons, lattices;
  • coasters - baking sheets;
  • spit.

As an alternative to cast iron, stainless steel with a special titanium coating can be used.

Attention ! You can not use ordinary stainless steel to create a barbecue in the gazebo. In the process of cooking in a simple steel oven, iron oxides are formed, which adversely affect the human body.

The gazebo should be half-open to ensure full air exchange and ventilation in it.

Refractory tiles or other non-combustible material are suitable for decorating the floor.

From the fireplace to the outer perimeter, it is important to make a slope of at least 2 degrees for water to drain. In case of washing the floor, heavy rainfall, no problems with the stove - barbecue will not happen.

When choosing natural wood for the construction of a country gazebo, it would be optimal to install a collapsible metal grill. The Finnish grill, which involves cooking on an open fire, harmoniously fits into the wooden gazebo.

The construction in the gazebo of the furnace

A simple option for a barbecue oven is to build a structure on a concrete foundation made of durable refractory bricks. Masonry is carried out using a binding sand-clay solution (the ratio of components is 3 to 1), brought to a creamy consistency.

The stove is laid out in the form of the letter P, making the height of the stove about 1 meter. In the case of laying a fireplace, a grate is placed between the parallel sides of the grate at intervals of 20-25 cm. A cone-shaped chimney is built above the grates.

You can build a fireplace in the gazebo of a more complex configuration by laying out the stove in the form of the letter "E". Furnace upper part laid out from a special refractory brick. For the lower part, which is intended for the role of a woodpile, a gas silicate brick is suitable.

Between the grill and the oven - barbecue there is a constructive difference, the grill has back wall, which performs the function of a heat insulator for the furnace. Such a technical solution makes it possible to rationally use the heat of coals.

Before starting the construction of the furnace, it is necessary to think over all smoke collectors and additional elements so as not to make changes to the design of the barbecue during its construction.

Design with a barbecue made of profiled metal pipes

This design has significant rigidity, you can save on the use OSB boards and sheets of plywood. To cover the roof, a metal tile or corrugated board is suitable. To fix the metal profile to the crate, self-tapping screws are suitable. If such a veranda is placed near a metal fence, you can create a single stylistic composition on personal plot. The floor in such a structure is equipped with colored paving slabs.

A monolithic foundation will be required for the construction of a brick hearth.

Gazebo with barbecue made of wood with a hipped multi-pitched roof

To make the frame of such a gazebo, you will need wooden racks - poles. For reliability, they are fastened on top with an additional frame. The floor is made of boards that are laid on wooden logs, pre-coated with an antiseptic solution.

The base of the structure is slightly raised above the ground, lined with river pebbles or rubble on the outside (create drainage system). No showers will damage the structure, water runoff will go directly into the ground, wooden logs will not rot and deform. The best material for roofing in such a structure is a flexible tile.

Advice ! When choosing a project for construction, avoid sharp contrasts.

Finishing

The interior space can be decorated with wooden openwork gratings, the cell size of 15-25 cm is considered optimal. Barbecue is decorated artificial stone, countertops and shelves can be made from natural granite.

If as roofing you choose shingles, take care of a dense wooden crate. A convenient option for arranging the hood is an umbrella with metal pipe sheet stainless steel. This type of hood does not have such expressiveness as solid brickwork, but it will take much less time and effort to make it.

In construction, you can combine oak racks with forging. There is no need to become a professional blacksmith in order to decorate the building with a homemade metal grill. You can order a similar decor option, attach the grilles to the metal by welding.

Tents with barbecue, built of rounded logs, look like fabulous houses.
