In the Novopokrovsky School Museum of Local Lore there is a section "Peasant Life", which presents the subsistence economy of the peasants of the 19th century, an excursion "Peasant Hut" has been developed. Jr. sightseers school age it is difficult to imagine a real village old hut, in which a Russian stove occupied most of it, except for benches and a table, there was no other furniture. Our ancestors slept on beds or on the floor on mattresses stuffed with straw. Fresh straw was used to stuff homespun mattresses once a year. In any hut there was a Red (God's) corner, in which icons were placed, decorated with homespun towels. All the utensils in the house were placed in their places, there were no extra things, they lived poorly, the families were large.

So the idea was born to build a layout peasant hut with the designation of the main places in it: Red (God's) corner, large dining table with benches, a cradle for a baby, a large Russian stove, a golbets (underground), a platter.

It is necessary to imagine a traditional Russian family in the hut, consisting of at least three generations, each of which has its own household duties.

The made model will become one of the main exhibits in the school museum of local lore in the exposition "Peasant Life".

Brief statement of purpose and objectives

Objective:

to build a model of a Russian peasant hut, typical for Povetluzhye at the beginning of the 19th century, as well as the time of settlement of the territory of the Pronovsky village council.

Tasks:

1. Explore according to the memoirs of old residents, according to the documents of the Novopokrovsky School Museum appearance and the interior decoration of a Russian peasant hut.

2. Build a model of a Russian peasant hut.

3. Bring the arrangement of the peasant hut closer to the appearance of the diorama of the same name: the Russian stove must be heated, the hut is inhabited by residents.

4. Donate the constructed model as a gift to the Novopokrovsky School Museum for the Peasant Life exposition.

Criteria to be met

hut layout

1. The layout of the hut must correspond to a scale of 1:20.

2. The layout of the hut must be made of wood.

3. Inside the layout, the features of the decoration of the Russian peasant hut of the 19th century should be reflected.

4. The Russian stove must be heated.

Initial Ideas

Before choosing a sample hut for the project, we studied the materials of the museum, interviewed the old-timers of the village, drove around the village of Novopokrovskoye, went to the disappearing village of Berdnichata, where you can still see wooden buildings of the 19th century. Among them is the house of Berdnikov, a local timber merchant (Fig. 1). It stands out among these houses with a balcony and complex roof. In the village of Novopokrovskoe there is an old two-story building, once owned by the merchant Korolev (Fig. 2). But these houses are not typical for the village. Peasant huts were simpler and more practical. Few of these houses have survived to this day, besides, they are in poor condition, it is dangerous to live in them (Fig. 3, 4)

The settlement of the territory of the Pronovsky village council began at the end of the 19th century, at that time five-wall houses began to appear, when the hut was divided by a main wall, chopped simultaneously with the construction of the entire log house, as well as houses with six chopped walls for a large family.

We managed to find a house that is still under the roof and meets our requirements: a five-walled log house with a simple plank roof, no foundation, with a small area. It was him that we took as a sample for our work (Fig. 4)

Houses numbered 1, 2, 3 have a rather complex structure of both the building and the roof. In addition, they are large in area, they do not fit our scale.

Choosing the best idea

The total area" href="/text/category/obshaya_ploshadmz/" rel="bookmark">the total area of the house is 54 m, the living area is 36 m. will help in the future to use it for exhibitions.

The interior of the hut will reflect the most basic attributes of a Russian peasant family: a large adobe stove with the possibility of heating, God's corner, where the icons are placed, a large table, many benches, an underground floor, shelves, a platter, a cradle.

In order to show a residential hut, they decided to make dolls and populate the hut with them, blind a stove with a chimney, sew curtains on the windows, hang a white towel in God's corner, make dishes, make a trap for the underground.

A removable roof, as well as holes in the ceiling, will help to consider the decoration of the room.

Insulation "href="/text/category/utepliteli/" rel="bookmark">the insulation of the hut was thoroughly suited. Between the embedded tree and the ground, they made troughs from spruce, after which they sprinkled the hut with sand. To insulate the hut, moss was laid out between the logs in the log house. We used woolen thread.To save heat, the doors were made low, with a high threshold that did not let cold air to the hut. They entered the house with their heads bowed low. The builders used sand or anthills to insulate the ceiling. This is not reflected in the layout, because there are holes in the ceiling in order to view the interior of the hut through them.

Description of the interior of the hut

In the setting of the hut there is not a single superfluous object, each thing has its own strictly defined purpose and a place illuminated by tradition, which is feature people's dwelling.

One of the significant elements of housing was a stove (Appendix 3). The first ovens were adobe. Therefore, we made a clay oven. They brought a pipe to the roof so that the stove could be heated. Sometimes a corner for cooking was arranged near the stove, resembling a painted cupboard. The painting was geometric in nature (motif of the sun). To the right of the door in the floor there is a trap leading to the underground, where supplies for the winter were stored.

At the front door were men with their work. At the window, on a bench located along the wall, they spun.

Diagonally from the stove (to the east) there has always been God's corner (Red corner). Icons (images) hung here, therefore, entering the hut, a person immediately looked into God's corner, bowed and was baptized at the images of saints. Lampadas were burning near the icons - small lamps suspended on chains and filled with lamp oil. In this corner they prayed, gathered at the table for a family meal. The table was usually of considerable size, based on a large family. The table top is rectangular, made of good boards without knots and carefully processed to a special smoothness. There was a bench next to the table. It was slightly longer than the table. In addition to benches, stools were used, characterized by rigidity. Chests, in which clothes, canvases and other household utensils were stored, were an obligatory accessory of the hut. Shelves, fixed tightly to the wall, were widely used in the hut. For dishes, a platter was used. Above front door did a hinged flooring - lay. For sleep they used benches, chests with a flat lid, mattresses stuffed with straw. Hanging cradles were intended for infants (Appendix 3).

The furniture of the Russian peasant dwelling was characterized by immobility, since it was designed as an organic element of the interior of the hut, taking into account living conditions. The interior of the hut is united by a single material, while maintaining its natural color - the color of wood. leading colors was golden-buff with the introduction of white and red colors. Golden-ocher tones are typical for the walls of the hut, wooden furniture, dishes. The towels on the icons were white, the red color sparkled with small spots on clothes, towels, and in the paintings of household utensils.

Thus, the layout reflects all the main attributes of a Russian peasant hut: a stove, God's corner, a table, fixed benches, shelves against the walls, a platter, a cradle, and household utensils.

The model of the hut is varnished in two layers for long-term exposure in the school museum and at exhibitions.

Self-esteem

1. Appearance of the layout.

The layout of the hut turned out very beautiful. All connections are strong, parts are polished. After the production, the layout, as planned, took its rightful place in our school museum of local lore, becoming one of the main exhibits in the Peasant Life exposition (Appendix 4)

2.Difficulties in work:

cut windows and doorways due to small size;

make beams for the ceiling and cut floorboards with flooring;

to make notches on logs, since the diameter of the logs was different, as in the construction of an old Russian hut.

3. Disadvantages in manufacturing:

the symmetry of the log house is slightly broken, since the logs are connected with glue and it is impossible to align them.

We believe that the goal set at the beginning of the work has been achieved, and the tasks have been completed.

Irina Lavrishina

Kind, dear colleagues and guests of my blog!

To convey to the understanding of children the features of life Russian people of the past how they lived and arranged their life, working on one of the sections of the topic on self-education, together with their parents, we created layout« Russian hut» , which contains mini - antiquities.

Target: to get acquainted with the history Russian peasant life and the traditions of our ancestors.

Tasks:

To acquaint with the device of a peasant dwelling, household items, their names and purpose;

Enrich children's vocabulary with new words;

Develop interest in Russian folklore;

Bring up careful attitude to ancient things, traditions, customs of hospitality;

Help children to realize the relationship of the present and the past, to feel themselves in the flow of time.

The husband sawed logs and connected them. She laid tow between the logs, covered the roof with a bast from a washcloth.

In the old days, the attic was used to store various household items. utensils: tubs, barrels, troughs, empty baskets, tools, etc., herbs, mushrooms and berries were also dried there. We placed all this on the roof attic.

The interior of the peasant hut is the upper room; it is both a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom.

The stove is a nurse, a protector from the cold, a healer from diseases. The stove was sawn out by Arseniy Efimov's father, covered with modeling paste and painted with acrylic paint.

"Red" the corner is located in the far corner of the hut, on the east side, in the space between the walls, diagonally from the stove. This is the brightest part. Houses: both walls forming the corner have windows.

main decoration "red" corner is a goddess with an icon.

In the old days, the whole peasant family gathered at the table, all issues were discussed. There, in "red" in the corner of our hut there is a table with a bench (all wooden furniture made by Artem Badeev's mother)

Required attribute Russian hut was a chest in which clothes were stored. Our chest was made from a straw napkin. There are shelves for dishes on the wall. The floor is covered with a self-bonded rug.

In our hut you can see a festively seasoned wooden bed covered with a stitched patchwork quilt.

A cradle hangs next to the bed (the work of Artem B.'s mother, suspended on a long wooden pole.

Children had the opportunity to visually see how they lived Russian people how they worked, how they decorated their life.

Thank you for your attention!

Model "Russian hut" To acquaint children visually with the traditions and life of the Russian people, the interior of the Russian hut, I made.

Model of a Russian hut "My hut" I present to you a model of a Russian folk hut. The layout was made in order to demonstrate.

First you need to cut a lot of sticks that are square in cross section on a circular saw. Approximately 16mm thick. If there are six crowns in this house, then 24 sticks are needed. Our house is square in plan, which means the sticks are needed the same length. The length of the sticks must be chosen according to the length of the future walls of the house. Plus 2 inches.

Then you need to give the sticks cylindrical shape. This is usually done on a special machine. We don’t have it, so we use a regular wood lathe.

The front and rear centers of the machine leave quite noticeable indentations when processing on a stick. Therefore, the ends of the sticks, where the recesses remained, must be cut off. A centimeter on one side and a centimeter on the other. And so you need to process all 24 sticks.
In this picture, the depressions are clearly visible.

Then two indentations are cut in each stick.

Then we smear these recesses with glue "Joiner" (quick-drying PVA). If necessary, then smear the entire length of the stick.

And we glue. Crown after crown.

Until we collect the whole log house. The “joiner” will need about 15 minutes to dry. Therefore, all this time the entire log house must be pressed from above. You can just use your hands. When everything is glued together, it should look like this.

Now we mark the slots for the door and windows.

And saw through with a jigsaw.

Before cutting out the windows, we drill a hole in the wall of the house. We will then insert a file into it. Sawing window and door openings will just show us whether we glued the sticks tightly or not.

Where necessary, cut with a knife.

As a result, we should get this.

Then we grind and trim the ends of the logs on a rotating plywood wheel with sandpaper.

We paint the house with a strong solution of manganese. Can only be outside.

When the manganese dries, wipe the house with sandpaper. So we have a stretch in color. Some places are highlighted, others remain dark.

The result should be like this. Here we have blanks for two houses at once.

Then we cut out two triangular pediments from fiberboard. The roof angle on most houses is 90 degrees. In the blank of the pediment, you need to make two semicircular cutouts for the sticks. They are made with a semicircular chisel.

Then birch bark is glued onto these blanks. And already an embossing is made on it, depicting boards and the structure of a tree. Embossing can be done with a very large needle. Then the embossed surface is painted with manganese, and the excess dye is erased with the 646th solvent. You need to rub hard. Firmly pressing a cloth moistened with solvent to the birch bark. It should turn out like this.

Then windows are cut out of birch bark according to the size of the openings. Double layers are better. Then they need to be glued together and glued into the openings.

But the windows and gables are already glued into place.

Then we make the roof. The roof is made of birch bark on a cardboard basis. On the birch bark, rows of scales are cut with two incisors. And thick cardboard is first dyed with manganese, then with a non-aqueous stain for shine.

The Russian stove is an essential attribute of many famous fairy tales. You can list all the works for a long time, for example, this legend about Emelya “By the Pike”, the story of Clever and Sloth, and Baba Yaga could not do without a stove. A do-it-yourself oven will be an excellent decoration for a home performance. It is easy to make with children, using for work waste material, which is at hand in every home.

1. Take a long toothpaste box, a sheet of white office paper, glue in a pencil and scissors for work. Small scraps of brown and black paper, a black gel pen will also come in handy.

2. Cut the box roughly in half with scissors.

3. Connect the two received parts, placing them at right angles to each other. Wait for the glue to dry.

4. Completely cover the resulting blank from the box with white paper. You can first draw a template with a pen, then cut along the lines.

5. Place the chimney on the higher part. For its manufacture, either a small box in the shape of a parallelepiped is suitable, or pieces of cardboard that can be easily glued together.

6. To create a firebox, cut out a small rectangle from white paper, which can later be used as a template. Also cut out a black semicircle and a brown stripe.

7. Alternately gluing all the details, create an image of a firebox with a brick border.

8. Attach the paper imitation to the craft.

9. Cover the chimney with brown paper.

10. Draw on the chimney with a gel pen brickwork, and insert a piece of cotton wool into the pipe itself and fluff it up to create the illusion of smoke.

11. If you wish, add a red flame to the black background of the firebox for a more realistic picture. Place Lenivitsa or another fairy-tale character on the stove.

The final look of the craft.

If in kindergarten you were asked to make a model of a Russian hut with your own hands, you can easily create it from cardboard, paper and salt dough. You can also make a stove to install inside the house.

A model of a Russian hut will show children how they lived in the old days. They will have an idea about household items, about the arrangement of the house. Another such layout is useful for creating crafts in kindergarten, bringing together children and parents who will create it together.

To do such a thing, take:

  • cardboard box;
  • self-adhesive film;
  • PVA glue;
  • bandage;
  • brush;
  • ceiling tiles;
  • wallpaper.

Take a box, glue the bottom part with self-adhesive film under the tree to get such a floor. Wallpaper must be glued to the walls inside.

And now the parents will cut it with a breadboard knife. You can make 3 windows, one on each wall. Glue ceiling tiles on top to make this part of the house beautiful. For such work, you need to take a special glue that will fix this material well.

To strengthen the walls from the outside, first glue them with a bandage dipped in PVA glue. When dry, paint with white water-based paint.

Draw the shutters first with a pencil and then paint them.

Also make a crib from the ceiling tiles. To make its elements strong, like a house, glue it with a bandage.

Very soon there will be a model of a Russian hut. First paint the bed brown. Then cut out the details of the stove, glue them together. Do not forget to make a compartment for cooking and for storing firewood.

Also glue the stove outside with a bandage, and then paint it with white paint. In the corners, this whitewashing seems to have fallen off a little. Show this by painting here in brown. When the paint is dry, go around the firebox with black. Take the tree branches that need to be cut into 4 pieces. The grip is made from a wooden skewer, and make its upper part from a wire that can be covered with a cloth and glued here. The rug can be crocheted in a circle. Make a bench on which you put a ribbon with a folk pattern. Make a hatch.

Place a figurine of the hostess inside, hang tulle curtains on the windows. Sew small pillows for the crib. Sit the cat on a toy stool. You can also sew it with your own hands.

Glue a small paper-based icon into the corner, make a cradle, attach it to the top and put a toy baby inside.

You can add some of your items to the layout of the hut.

Here is another layout of a Russian hut that can be made.

  1. A box has already been taken for the base, but with lower sides than in the previous master class. Make a stove out of cardboard. To do this, you need to make 3 parts from this material and glue them together. The smallest will be at the top. This is a pipe.
  2. It is better to immediately take white cardboard, so that later you do not have to glue the base with paper of this color or paint it.
  3. Then you will need to draw a firebox and a fire in it. Place a few sawn branches nearby, as if it were firewood. Lay a patchwork blanket over the stove.
  4. For it, you will need the remnants of matter that need to be sewn together. Then they are sewn to the base of the fabric of the same size. Make a table and a bench out of cardboard, which must be pasted over with adhesive tape. The bed is made in the same way. On it you need to sew a set of bed linen and pillows from fabric. Lay a knitted rug on the floor. Place a table with kitchen utensils nearby.
  5. Attach curtains to windows. As you can see, the cradle is suspended with a wire hook. Make it from ice cream sticks, attach fabric and threads here, for which the cradle will be hung.

Children love to look at such objects. They will definitely ask questions about what and how of these items were used in the old days. You tell them and thereby increase the horizons of the kids.

The third master class with step-by-step photos will also demonstrate how to make a layout of the hut. To make it, take:

  • box or plywood for the base;
  • stain;
  • sharp knife;
  • scissors;
  • brush;
  • salty dough;
  • glue gun;
  • gouache;
  • newspapers;
  • wooden skewers;
  • pencil;
  • wire;
  • the cloth;
  • lace;
  • plasticine;
  • PVA glue;
  • thread with a needle.

Before you make a layout of the hut, prepare the base for the floor with your own hands. To do this, glue a sheet of cardboard here, painted with stain. Then it will seem that it is a plank floor. Using the same technology, you will make a table and a bed. Connect the parts of the cardboard bed with glue, having previously covered them with stain. Do the same with the table. Cover it with a cloth, you can first sew lace to the tablecloth. Also made and cape for the bed. Make pillows for her.

Roll from strips of cardboard such blanks that will look like logs. They will need to be glued together with a hot gun. Where there will be a window, use shorter parts. Glue it here, after cutting it out of cardboard and decorating with gouache. Make beautiful curtains from lace.

Glue the icon in the corner, also decorating it with lace and a beautiful fabric. Lay a rug on the floor.

Such a mat can be made from coarse linen or knitted with your own hands. Attach a fringe of thread along the edges.

To make a shell, wind strips of newspaper sheets onto a wooden skewer. Color them and glue them together. Wrap a piece of wire with paper of the same color and make a handle for this bucket out of it.

The stove is made in a very interesting way. But you will see the tricks of its creation in the next master class.

How to make a model of a Russian stove?

This is an integral part of the Russian hut. Indeed, in the old days, with the help of a stove, they heated the room, and cooked here. Upstairs are beds, they slept on them. The stove is also mentioned in many Russian fairy tales. And, having made this item, the children will understand what it looks like:

  1. To make an oven, you must first measure what size it will be. Then cut out the necessary parts from cardboard and glue them together. There are two of them. bottom rectangle and top part where the pipe will be.
  2. Make a furnace compartment. To do this, cut here with a breadboard knife and attach the missing parts. A smaller hole must be made at the top of the stove.
  3. Now take the salt dough, roll it out and start gluing it to a certain part. To make the object look like it was made of brick, take a paint brush and water. With the help of these simple devices you will separate the dough fragments of the finished oven so that they resemble bricks.
  4. When the dough dries, paint the oven with white gouache. BUT a small amount black mark the soot near the brewing compartment.
  5. It remains to make a ladder out of skewers so that you can see how they climbed onto the stove.

Check out another tutorial step by step photos to him, who will demonstrate how to make this item. In this case, the oven is large. It will be interesting for children to play around such. In the cooking compartment, they will be able to put toy dishes and pretend to be cooking. You can make a door below to put firewood here.

Now attach a small one to the top of the big box. Do this with double-sided and regular tape. Cut out a semi-circular brew compartment using a utility knife.

Take light wallpaper, paste them over your work. When this layer dries, you need to stick the paper base a second time so that the drawings on the box do not shine through.

You will also glue light or similar wallpapers, when the glue dries, then draw a flame with gouache. And dark paint will help create a firebox.

Draw a few bricks with a pencil on the surface of the product. Separately, draw bricks on cardboard with a red marker and stick them around hob. You can draw a cat curled up near the stove, mushrooms that are dried here.

  1. Draw the pipe in red so that it can be seen that these are bricks. The kids will enjoy playing here. You can also put other household items of an old hut so that the guys know how people lived in those days.
  2. Place a table with a wide white tablecloth here. Behind him you can drink tea with pies. If you wish, make the stove in such a way that there is a passage here on the back side. To do this, take a large box, cut off the top and back wall.
  3. Attach a piece of cardboard at the top in front to become a pipe. Paste your work with white drawing paper or wallpaper of this color, then paint it.
  4. A model of a Russian hut may include a chest, which is also easy to make with your own hands.
  5. Put the spinning wheel here, put the yarn. Next to the stove on the bench, place a few cast irons. Then the children will have an idea of how the layout of the Russian hut looks like.

If you have an unsightly extension in your country house, we suggest decorating it to make a stove. In the same way, you can hide the entrance to the basement of a brick or block house.

To do this, the surface of the walls must be whitewashed, and painted below with brown or red paint to make bricks. Place two painted tires on top, which will become flower beds. Make a grandma and grandpa out of straw, burlap and fabric. Put a wooden spinning wheel here. Here is such an old corner then you will have it right at your side.

If you need to make a stove for a performance, in order to create a model of a Russian hut, then watch another master class.

  • See also how to do

This is the finished product. First you will need to take 4 boxes of different sizes and glue them together to make 3 tiers of the stove and a tall chimney. After that, you need to glue them with white wallpaper. When the glue is dry, cover acrylic paints the same color. When it dries, glue colorful ribbon around the edges of each box. Glue wood-colored wallpaper down to imitate the floor.

If there is no wallpaper of this color, then just paint the bottom of the stove brown.

Sew a blanket small size to put it here.

When you make the oven, on one side, the two middle boxes need to be glued so that they are on the same plane. Then in the bottom you will cut a semicircular hole so that this is the brewing compartment. At the bottom of the hole is a little smaller, put the sawn branches, as if it were firewood.

You can place a decorative samovar here. Attach a damper to the pipe from above, making it out of cardboard and pasting it with a self-adhesive black film. See in more detail how the furnace compartment is made.

Cover the sides with cardboard. You also need to make a partition. You will explain to the children that this section consisted of two parts. The front has no open fire. Here, pots and pans could stand, and the food contained in them remained warm. Then there is a compartment where they put firewood and set it on fire to cook. You can make cast iron corrugated cardboard. Cut a strip from it, twist it into a spiral, then pull out the top and bottom. Glue the ends. The grip is also made from corrugated cardboard. But that's just the top part. Make the bottom one from a wooden skewer or pencil and glue a cardboard blank here.

And if you need to make a Ukrainian stove for a competition or for other purposes, then watch another master class. It may require an old baby stroller, which is no longer needed.

This work was dedicated to the competition, when a parade of carriages was held. The owners of this vehicle decided to dress up in national clothes and make a mobile stove. to be found carton boxes. Now you need to measure your stroller in order to know what size the oven will be. Prepare everything you need and get started. In this case, the whole box was not found, but there were only fragments of this material. Therefore, they need to be fastened with adhesive tape.

Here's how to make a stove for a hut layout next. The oven consists of two compartments. The photo below shows some of the details. Cut out the place where the damper will be.

Now attach the pipe. This can be done with a stapler and double-sided tape. Cut out the flap from the cardboard. Put her in her place.

Then you will need to paste over the oven with whatman paper. Then you can put embroidered towels, amulets, wooden spoons, a board, so that it is clear how the stove will look like.
