Do-it-yourself benches for a gazebo drawings. Wooden furniture in the gazebo: a table and a bench with your own hands. Bench manufacturing technology

What kind of gazebo is without a bench or bench! Very often, benches are integrated into the gazebo at the stage of their design and construction. But in most cases, benches, benches and tables are additional elements interior. By the way, benches differ from benches in that benches are initially made mobile, and benches are fixedly attached to the structure, or dug into the ground.
For people who widely practice housework with their own hands, they know the basics of carpentry and metalwork - it makes no sense to explain and tell how to make benches for a gazebo. But there is a fairly wide category of people, as a rule, mental and office work, whose instincts of a house owner periodically wake up, and their hands begin to itch to make something with them. So for them it makes sense to briefly, simply and clearly explain the basics of how to make the simplest benches or benches in the gazebo with your own hands.

Required Tools

It is mandatory to have a long (1 m) metal or wooden ruler, but a tape measure is also suitable. If you decide to make a fixed bench, it would be appropriate to have a building level. After all, you are going to make a simple, but still a piece of furniture? No, of course, you can simply drag a sawn wooden stump into the gazebo, or put a log or board on the bricks, and calm down on that. But this is already excessive primitivism.
To make simple benches and benches with your own hands from wooden planks, brick, or a combination of them, it is enough to have:

  • hand saw - hacksaw;
  • hammer;
  • sandpaper;
  • sometimes cooking utensils cement mortar and trowels (trowel).

For the manufacture of more complex benches from wooden beam and boards, plywood, metal pipes and profile, as well as their combinations, it is already difficult to do without an extended set of tools.

To work with wood:

  • workbench with vise;
  • manual (electric) saw and (or) electric jigsaw;
  • manual (electric) drill and (or) screwdriver; plus the necessary set of drills and nozzles for them;
  • manual (electric) planer;
  • sandpaper or electric sanding tool (belt sander, vibration sander).

Additionally, for working with metal:

  • a hand saw for metal or a hand-held angle grinder (the so-called "grinder") with cutting wheels for metal;
  • the necessary set of drills for metal for a manual (electric) drill;
  • grinding wheels for metal to a manual angle grinder;
  • in some cases, you may need a gasoline or gas soldering torch if you are going to make bent parts from metal pipes and profiles.

The choice of materials for the manufacture of benches and benches

For the manufacture of the simplest benches and benches for gazebos, apply:

  • wooden logs, half-beam;
  • edged and unedged boards (usually 40 mm, 50 mm thick);
  • in some cases - brick (construction or facing);
  • from fixing materials - as a rule, nails, sometimes - screws.

For the manufacture of other fairly simple and affordable benches frame structure the following materials are used.
Wooden materials:

  • construction timber (usually 100x100mm, 100x150mm);
  • small timber (40x40mm, 50x50mm);
  • edged board (40mm, 50mm);
  • from fastening materials - as a rule, screws (self-tapping screws), bolts, studs with nuts and washers.

Metal is usually thin-walled pipes, hire and profile:

  • round pipes (diameter from 15mm to 100mm);
  • profile pipes (from 15mm to 100mm);
  • corner (width from 20mm to 100mm);
  • strip (width from 20mm);
  • from fastening materials - bolts, studs with nuts and washers; when using a metal-wood combination, self-tapping screws can be used.

Separately, as materials, wood fillers, primers, paints and varnishes are provided and prepared.

Design Definition

When choosing and determining the design of a bench or bench, it is necessary to make the necessary measurements inside the gazebo so that the bench can subsequently fit into it.
It is also necessary to adhere to the accepted standards, according to which the height of the bench should be within 40 - 50 cm, the width of its seat - at least 30 - 40 cm.
As a result, it is necessary to make a drawing of the bench, on which it is necessary to carefully coordinate the dimensions of all its details. One of the typical mistakes of novice home craftsmen is ignoring the thickness of the material (boards, beams, pipes, etc.), as well as the height of the protruding heads of bolts, nuts, as a result of which final assembly product may not work.

The simplest design of the bench provides for the presence of supports in the form of vertically dug (cemented) trimmings of logs or a half-beam, with a planed board (40mm, 50mm thick) or a half-beam laid on them and fixed with nails. It is advisable to align building level both the vertical installation of the supports, and the horizontal laying of the board.
Another the simplest option- when the vertical supports of the bench are not dug in, but are rigidly attached with long nails, staples or studs to the structure of the gazebo itself, a seat is attached horizontally to them in the form of the same board or half-beam.

Manufacturing of bench parts

The manufacture of wooden and metal parts must be carried out at a special workplace (workbench) equipped with carpentry (for wood) and locksmith (for metal) vise. For the manufacture of wooden parts, the use of removable clamps is allowed.
When working, it is necessary to use work gloves (gloves) and protective locksmith glasses.
If significant flaws are found on wooden blanks (deep cracks, through knots, stuck nails and screws), it is recommended to replace such blanks. On metal blanks, centers of strong corrosion are eliminated by grinding.
If it is planned to produce relatively short wooden details(up to 50 cm), then the original board or beam must be planed with a manual or electric planer before sawing. Longer wooden parts can be planed after sawing them.
The basis for the manufacture of wooden and metal parts of the future bench should be their careful and accurate marking, according to the dimensions indicated in the drawing. It is necessary to accurately mark the locations of future bolt holes.
When using bolts, screws and nuts on wooden furniture, it is advisable to make their heads recessed, for which it is necessary to pre-drill (countersink) the holes for them to the required size and depth.

Final bench assembly

The assembly of the product is carried out according to the drawing.
To fasten the parts together, it is necessary to select screws and nails of such length that they are securely fastened, but at the same time, the penetration of a nail or screw through both parts to be fastened, as a result of which openly protruding tips of nails and screws are formed.
When insufficient rigidity and instability are detected assembled structure, it is necessary to take measures to strengthen it by using additional amplifiers and spacers.
For the frame structure of the bench - first of all, it is necessary to assemble the frame itself, then attach the hinged seat and back to it. When assembling a fixed bench, it is first necessary to attach (dig in) vertical supports, and then attach a horizontal seat to them.
After assembling the bench, it is necessary to make its final sanding (grinding).

The final step in the manufacture of the bench will be puttying it (if necessary), applying a primer and final painting or varnishing. On wooden parts, before painting, it is necessary to apply a layer of a special primer in order to avoid strong absorption of paint by wood.
The bench for the gazebo is made by hand!

After the construction of the main structure, there are other issues that need to be addressed. And the most important of them is how to make benches in the gazebo as quickly and simply as possible. We will look at some of the most popular options and show unusual solutions that, nevertheless, are very easy to do with your own hands.

Before starting work, stock up on everything you need: material and tools. In the process of work, you should not rush, so that it does not work out, as in the popular proverb, and you do not cut off extra centimeters - it is unlikely that you will be able to attach them back.

In the photo - if you approach the issue correctly, you will get a magnificent bench for a gazebo

What you need to have before starting work

To carry out all the work efficiently and achieve excellent results, you must have the following necessary materials and fixtures on hand:

  • Wood for making a bench, it can be slats, bars, boards and even whole logs. It all depends on the chosen model. In addition, you may need various metal elements and mounting brackets.
  • Self-tapping screws of the required length. Many still use nails, but this is not very aesthetically pleasing, and the strength of the joints using self-tapping screws is disproportionately higher. Fasteners do not loosen and hold securely for a very long time.
  • A hacksaw, many people use a power saw or a jigsaw, but if they are not available, you can do it with a regular hand saw.
  • A screwdriver, since you are unlikely to be able to screw a self-tapping screw into dry wood with a screwdriver. Also, if you use bolts or zip ties, you will need to drill holes.
  • Roulette or meter and pencil for marking. This is also important, as the price of a mistake can be damaged material.
  • Several sheets of sandpaper of different roughness, with its help you will level the surface and smooth out all the corners on the bench.
  • If there are flaws on the surface or you want to hide the hats with self-tapping screws, you should stock up on wood putty.
  • Impregnation or varnish for wood. If you decide to paint the product with paint, decide on the color and purchase in advance. You should not paint with the remnants of paint from the pantry - this can ruin the bench, which you spent a lot of work on.

In addition to the main set of devices, other items may be needed: a planer, chisels, a hammer. It all depends on the chosen model and the quality of the material. It is also very good to make drawings of a bench in a gazebo with your own hands. You can take a finished project and make at least a sketch yourself - this way you will understand the design features much better.

Bench projects - from simple to complex

Consider several options for the execution of benches, which are most often used by novice carpenters. Having made them, you will certainly want to create something original.

Bench combined with a gazebo

The easiest option due to several factors:

  • You will need one or two boards for the seat and a few bars for the supports - that's all.
  • All elements are attached directly to the gazebo, this ensures the rigidity and strength of the entire structure.
  • Here you do not need to figuratively cut out various elements - everything is cut exactly to size, which significantly reduces the likelihood of errors and miscalculations.

A great option for a gazebo, which almost everyone can handle. The main disadvantage of this solution is that the bench cannot be moved to another place - it becomes part of the design of the gazebo.

The classic bench

This type is very common in rural areas due to ease of manufacture and high reliability..

To do this, you need only one board with a thickness of 40 mm of the desired width and length. What is the optimal width - you decide, and what will be the length depends on the size of the gazebo (the bench should be 20-30 cm shorter).

2 pieces 40 cm long are cut off for the legs and about the same fragment for the stiffeners (cutting it diagonally, we get 2 amplifiers). After that, triangles are cut out at the bottom of the supports - these will be the legs and the structure is assembled using self-tapping screws.

Such a bench will serve you for many years, the main thing is to cover it with protective compounds in a timely manner and, if possible, put it away for the winter in a garage or pantry.

Bench with a back made of bars

Such a bench for a gazebo with your own hands is done quickly and easily. To make it, you do not need instructions for several pages, everything is quite simple and clear.

Its main features:

  • It is completely assembled from a bar 40 * 50, 40 * 60 and other sizes. The main thing is that the material is strong enough and dry.
  • The width of the structure and its height are chosen by you independently, based on the characteristics of the gazebo and the height of the table.
  • For greater comfort, a bevel is made in the upper part of the supports for the back, but if it is not there, it's okay - just the back will be straight, and not slightly tilted.

The advantage of this modification is its versatility - on the basis of this project, many benches can be made using both timber and boards. If you wish, you can also provide armrests, but in the gazebo, as a rule, they interfere more than they bring benefits.

Tip: a bench with a backrest is necessary in gazebos where you cannot lean on the railing (if, for example, they are made of polycarbonate or PVC fabric).
If the partitions are reliable, you can get by with classic benches.

classic bench

Such a bench for a gazebo with your own hands is only possible for those who have equipment with which you can make figured cutting of timber. In addition, at the junction of the legs, it is necessary to make a half-tree recess for the width of the beam.

In principle, these elements can be ordered from a carpenter, it will cost a little, and the rest of the work can be done independently. As a result, you will get a great bench that will become a real decoration of the gazebo.

Bench with metal supports

Currently in shopping malls you can buy ready-made supports for the bench. Most often they are cast from a cast iron alloy. You can also order products for the gazebo, made by artistic forging.

You will not be bothered by the question of how to make a bench in the gazebo. After all, it is enough to purchase bars of the desired length and fasten them to the supports using furniture bolts. And that's it - the bench is ready.

Advice!
This option is a great solution even for those who do not want to spend a lot of time assembling furniture.
Attaching the bars to the backs is very simple, but you will save up to 50% of the amount that the finished product would cost.

Another interesting option

After you make benches for the gazebo with your own hands, you can make several chairs. They are very easy to manufacture, do not take up space and can be used not only in the gazebo.

The chair consists of two boards and easily develops. For its production, you only need a jigsaw, but then you can surprise your guests with such an original solution.

Conclusion

Whichever option you choose, it is important to remember that the bench should be comfortable. And it doesn't matter how it's made - simple or with an abundance decorative elements. The video in this article will help to understand this topic even better.

A very important and integral part of a private territory, garden, playground or gazebo is the presence of a bench or a bench made by oneself. A bench can be an excellent addition to the overall landscape, it creates a certain comfort in the garden, and for a good rest it is best to put it in the gazebo. But how to make such a design on your own, so that it is convenient and fits well into the overall look?

You need to make a bench from the same material as the gazebo itself, and you should also adhere to the same style so that everything looks harmonious.

Where would a bench or bench be appropriate?

Benches in the garden are considered an important element of decorating any backyard area. They are required not only to sit on them, but also to create a single overall look. The main thing at the same time is that the benches skillfully fit into the overall composition, and do not stand out as a bright element against the general background of the garden.

Benches in public places, such as city parks and playgrounds, play a significant role. For many years, the presence of a comfortable bench, even in the bath, has been considered a necessary detail. If today baths are built of wood, brick and foam block, then benches are traditionally made of wood. It is also necessary to install a bench in the gazebo, which is usually built with your own hands. What material are benches made from?

Bench layout.

The bench can be made from various materials. In the last century, materials such as wrought iron, marble, stone and wood were especially popular. Today modern materials for the manufacture of benches are considered synthetic fiber and plastic. Quite often, craftsmen skillfully combine several materials at the same time. So, for example, benches are organically made of stone and iron, organic glass and wood, wood and forged steel.

The choice of material used depends entirely on the very style in which the bench is planned to be made. For the playground are considered ideal option benches made entirely of wood or plastic. Such structures can be easily moved or completely removed.

If you are going to make comfortable benches for a gazebo with your own hands, it is better to build on the style of the building itself.

If the gazebo is iron, then the bench should be made of steel. But the implementation of such a bench will only be possible for a master who has the appropriate tools and special equipment. But any owner can create a wooden shop with his own hands, for this it is enough to have a desire and adhere to certain rules in the performance of work. Back to index

How to make a wooden bench yourself

A wooden bench can be easily used in a bathhouse, on a playground or installed in a garden. But you definitely need such a bench in the gazebo, made by yourself. Whole necessary material for this it is considered quite budget option, and you can easily find it in your backyard or purchase it at a hardware store. It is important that it is easy to work with a tree at home, this does not require special equipment. The final work itself is pleasing to the eye, and it is much more comfortable to sit on wooden benches than on iron and stone benches.

Shop creation technology:

  1. First of all, you should create a drawing of the structure itself in order to visualize what the final result will look like, what materials and in what quantity will be needed? To do this, it is necessary to determine the desired dimensions and dimensions, it is best to do this immediately on the site.
  2. Having determined the height, width and length of the bench, you can begin to create a drawing. For example, it is considered standard to calculate the height of the bench from the ground to the seat of about 60 cm. But if the bench is made for children, then its height will be much less. If you plan to make a bench with a back, then you should determine the parameter of the back and its angle of inclination.
  3. To perform a bench, it is best to use edged boards with a section of 25 mm. Here, attention should be paid to the fact that the material is good quality free of knots and visible defects.
  4. Boards in the amount of 5 pieces should be planed and sanded. Of these, 2 will go to the back of the bench, and 3 to the seat.
  5. An electric planer in the boards intended for the backrest makes special grooves with a depth of 10 mm and a width of 30 mm.
  6. They cut out the lining from the scraps vertical slats for a backrest 10 mm thick. Their optimal location is at a distance of 120 mm from each other.
  7. The handrails at the bench can be made figured by sawing them with a jigsaw. The pattern is better to choose not complicated. To perform some curly elements, it is necessary to make the desired sketch of the drawing, and then transfer it to a special template using a hacksaw and a jigsaw. The same pattern is more appropriate to use on the back of the bench.
  8. It is desirable to make the outer part of the handrail narrower, so it will be more convenient to lean on it.
  9. Supports for the handrail are made of a planed bar with a flat part for fastening. Or in this case, you can still use the front legs of the bench, which must be made higher, that is, not to the seat, but to the very handrail.
  10. All parts of the bench will be assembled using self-tapping screws for woodworking, with an anti-corrosion coating.

A gazebo without furniture is like cheese without milk and sausage without meat. It is of no use in this performance. You won’t rest in it after a hard day’s work and you won’t arrange gatherings with friends. That is why the arrangement of the gazebo should be taken seriously. If you want to save money at the same time, then in principle you can always make furniture for the gazebo with your own hands. How to implement it? This will be discussed in the article.

How the garden chairs and the table in the gazebo will look depends largely on how the constructed structure looks, namely we are talking about the materials from which it is made and its configuration. So, the furniture can be:

  1. Portable or built-in. It is up to you to make built-in furniture during the construction of the gazebo or after the completion of this process. You can also make a built-in table with portable chairs / benches or vice versa. It all depends on your preferences. If you decide to install built-in furniture, then you should take into account the fact that the distance between the table and the bench should be within 5–10 cm.
  2. From different materials. For example, if the gazebo is wooden, then in order to achieve harmony, tables with chairs made of wood should also be made. And if the frame of the building is made of metal, then the base of the table with chairs should be appropriate.
  3. With different widths of benches. A person with normal weight will feel comfortable on a bench 40–60 cm wide. If you and your family members do not have problems with being overweight, then benches of this width can be made. Well, if the situation is different, then it is better to add a few centimeters to the proposed width.
  4. Various configuration. If you have a hexagonal gazebo, then the best option for its arrangement there will be a six- or octagonal table. Another option is to make the table round. In a rectangular gazebo, it is better to install a rectangular or oval table. That is, the table according to the configuration should correspond as much as possible to the shape of the gazebo.

The table is the essential item in the gazebo. Of course, you can purchase a plastic table, which is of low cost, but it is much more pleasant to make this design yourself. You will be able to make high quality furniture, at an affordable price and in accordance with the design you like.

Before you make a table / chairs for the gazebo, you should purchase the appropriate Construction Materials. The easiest way is to take a large log, cut it in half horizontally, process it with a planer and install it on the corresponding leg. But this solution may not be practical. Therefore, we suggest you build a table from boards and beams. The result is a strong and stable structure.

All measurements and preparation of parts must be done very carefully. It is better to make a table from expensive high-quality wood. Before you start buying and cutting wooden elements, draw a drawing of the table on paper. Put dimensions on it, which will allow you to calculate the amount of material with maximum accuracy.

First, make a countertop. Alternatively, assemble it from boards or use a ready-made furniture board. Optimal size boards for the manufacture of countertops - 75 × 25 mm. To prevent loosening of the tabletop, attach several guide bars to it from the back. The easiest way to fix them with self-tapping screws.

If you arrange the guides diagonally, then you will have the opportunity to make a drawer in the table. It will be possible to store various little things in it.

So, to make a box under the tabletop in the middle of the long edge of the table, fix 2 beams with a section of 50 × 50 mm. The distance between the bars should be 30 cm. On the inside of the bars, fix 2 planks. They will serve as guides for the drawer. It's time to make a box of the appropriate width, that is, equal to 30 cm. Stuff the same 2 slats on the sides of the box and the slats corresponding to its width in front and behind. Place the drawer under the countertop.

If the table is mobile, then all you need to complete its manufacture is to install 4 strong legs. But, in cases where the table is built-in, to install it, you must first install the foundation. It can be concrete or brick. A simpler solution is to make stable strong legs, dig them in and concrete them.

The frame of the table should be 15–30 cm smaller than the tabletop. This must be taken into account when installing the legs.

If massive beams were chosen as the legs for the built-in table, then before installing them in the recesses, the wood should be treated with a special protective composition against decay. Then install them, check the verticality, fix and fill the solution. For the table to be stable, you need to wait a few days for the concrete to harden.

The optimal height of the table is 75–80 cm. This means that the height of the legs depends on the thickness of the tabletop.

Before screwing the screws and installing the mounting brackets, lubricate the attachment points with an adhesive, for example, PVA with fine sawdust.

Next, attach the tabletop to the legs. Sand the table and apply an antiseptic on it, and then a flame retardant. After the table has dried, you can open it with varnish or paint it. Apply paintwork in several layers. The structure is ready.

The gazebo can be equipped not only with benches, but also with chairs or sofas. You can make any of the listed seating products from the remains after construction. For example, a seat and a back can be built from the remains of a tree, and a chair / bench support from a stone.

Benches can be installed on both sides of the tabletop. In this case, they must correspond to the length of the table. They can also be installed along the perimeter, so that all vacationers can see each other in the process of communication.

For convenience, the table can be made folding or not installed at all. So, to make a bench without a back, you will need:

  • wooden seat;
  • 4 legs;
  • fixture.

Such a simple bench can be made in just a few hours. To make it, you just need to connect a wooden seat with legs. The principle of operation here is the same as in the manufacture of a table with legs from a bar.

To make a wooden folding chair you will need:

  • screwdriver / drill;
  • plane;
  • jigsaw;
  • chisel;
  • grinder;
  • cutters for grooves;
  • drills for making holes of various diameters;
  • wood screws, having a length of 7 cm and a diameter of 8–10 mm;
  • varnish/paint.

Beam with a section of 25 × 40:

  • for a long leg - 91 cm long, 2 pcs.;
  • for a short leg - 55.7 cm long, 2 pcs.;
  • for sitting - 31.5 cm long, 2 pcs.;
  • 34 cm long, 6 pieces;
  • for the back - 42 cm long, 1 piece;
  • for jumper - 34 cm, 1 pc.

Jumper with a diameter of 18 mm, length 34 cm - 3 pcs.

  • card loop for attaching to the back leg of the chair and the bottom of the seat - 2 pcs.;
  • bolts Ø=8 mm, length 70 mm - 2 pcs.;
  • washers for Ø=8 mm - 6 pcs.;
  • furniture dowels Ø=10 mm, length 50 mm - 2 pcs.;
  • cap nuts - 4 pcs.;
  • waterproof glue for woodworking;
  • hairpin Ø=8 mm, length 470 mm with double-sided thread.

First of all, make a plan of action and draw a drawing. Cut out pieces according to size. They need to drill holes and make grooves with a cutter. Build the connections in this order:

  1. On the support bar, insert the slats into the groove with a spike.
  2. Glue the details.
  3. Insert furniture dowels into the holes at the ends of the seat, having a depth of 30 mm.

In the next step, assemble the chair frame:

  • To the racks you need to fix the back with glue, and on their lower side - the crossbar.
  • The seat dowels should be inserted into the guide grooves on the legs.
  • Install the stud under the seat by screwing M8 cap nuts on both sides of it.
  • Glue the cross bars into the back leg.
  • Bolt the front and back legs together to make a folding chair.
  • Now you should screw the seat to the rear legs. This can be done using ombre loops.

Finally, the chair or chairs, if you have collected several, should be painted with protective agents.

The manufacturing technology of a folding chair was given above and, perhaps, not everyone will master it. And it will take a lot of time to make several of these folding chairs. Therefore, we will now look at more simple methods production of furniture for the gazebo.

One way is to use saw cuts of large trees. You need to cut the trunk from both sides to fix the bench from the tree. On two large saw cuts, you can install a massive countertop, which is also easy to make. Connecting the tabletop to the base is very simple. Next, you will need to process the tree and install the entire structure in the gazebo. The photo shows how simple this design is.

If you need less massive benches, then saw the trunk lengthwise into 2 parts. Make a notch in it from the bottom side for installation on saw cuts of a smaller diameter. Lay the trunk on the "legs" in the gazebo and process the wood.

Do you only have stumps at your disposal? Do not be discouraged, it will be quite possible to decorate your original gazebo with furniture from them. Small stumps will be used as chairs, and a large stump will be used for the base of the table. The photo shows a tabletop in the form of a cut of a large saw cut, but if you don’t find one, then it can be made from a wooden shield, cutting it out, for example, in a rounded shape.

A built-in table in the gazebo can be built from brick, possibly left over from construction. This design will serve you faithfully for many years.

To make this table, you need to follow the step-by-step instructions:

  • First of all, strengthen the base for setting the table. Dig a small hole, fill the bottom with rubble and level it. Lay a waterproofing layer on it. Then fill the base with concrete.
  • Now make a square table base. Dimensions: 2-3 bricks in length and 6-8 in height.
  • Place a countertop on this base. It can be a wooden shield or a stone blank. It all depends on your financial capabilities.

A simple wooden table won't take you long to make, but will last a long time. Approximate dimensions are shown in the photo.

Manufacturing sequence:

  • Make a drawing. Prepare tools/materials.
  • Supports can have different shapes, but, as a rule, X-shaped legs are used. To make them, fix 2 bars in the center at an angle of 45º. For reliability, they should be strengthened from above with additional slats.
  • X-shaped legs should be connected with two bars, which are installed parallel to each other and correspond to the length of the table.
  • The tabletop can be made from 5-7 boards. Install it on prepared supports. Use furniture corners as fasteners.

Upon completion of all work, treat the table with paints and varnishes.

This article describes different methods manufacturing garden furniture, which can be used to arrange a gazebo. One of the options will be right for you. Perhaps you have already done this work? The sequence of manufacturing garden furniture for the gazebo:

This selection of photos will help you decide on the choice of furniture for the gazebo:

Scheme

The schemes we have proposed will help you make furniture for the gazebo with your own hands:

Furniture for the gazebo should be comfortable, practical and beautiful. Mandatory attributes of this small structure are a table and benches. Sometimes its interior is complemented by other furnishings. For example, a cutting table and a cupboard for dishes. Such furniture is very convenient to use in the gazebo with barbecue.

In any case, it is important to choose the right color for interior items and their sizes. You should also pay special attention to what material they are made of.

It will look better in a polycarbonate gazebo light wooden furniture

Very good for any small arbor, a garden folding model of a table made of wood or plastic is suitable. Surely a wicker model will look beautiful and stylish in such a structure.

On a note: Rattan furniture is resistant to temperature extremes and high humidity. Therefore, it can not even be brought indoors in the fall. Wintering is also well tolerated by such wood species as pine and oak.

Rattan furniture will make the interior stylish and give it solidity

Forged gazebo tables look very nice. A stone countertop can also be just a chic decoration for this small space. In addition to aesthetic appeal, both of these options have a virtually unlimited lifespan.

Wrought iron furniture in gazebos looks very original

Benches, armchairs and gazebo chairs

Usually in these small structures, long benches are installed on both sides of the table. This is the most convenient and practical option. Their design in most cases repeats the design of the table itself. Often benches are built directly into the construction of the walls. In this case, a do-it-yourself table is usually made in the gazebo with legs fixed to the floor. Such a solid option will be a good solution if you live in the house permanently.

Built-in benches can be very handy

In dachas, it is better to use light portable furniture for a gazebo made of wood or plastic. This option is inexpensive and practical. It can be, for example, plastic, tarpaulin on wooden frame or folding chairs from planks.

With rattan models of tables, of course, only wicker small chairs will be beautifully combined.

Other furniture

The design of cabinets designed to store condiments, skewers, or, say, some garden equipment, should repeat the design of the main set. If the benches and table are made of wood, the cabinet must be made of the same material. It will look good in this case and its wicker version. The cutting table is usually made of wood. Sometimes it is also galvanized steel.
