Gas heating boilers installation. Installation of a heating boiler in a private house: important rules, installation instructions. Installation of a chimney for heating equipment

In a modern private house without gas boiler not enough. It is simple and safe to operate. Yes, its installation is very time-consuming and expensive, but in the end, a gas boiler is the most cost-effective solution for heating a house and heating water. Compared to electric heaters, it can pay for itself in one winter.

Gas boilers can be single-circuit and double-circuit. Single-circuit are intended only for heating, double-circuit - for heating and water heating. Also, gas boilers differ in power and type of installation.

It's very important to get it right determine the required power equipment. The disadvantages of insufficient power are obvious. Excess power, in addition to the economic component, is also dangerous. Acid condensate is formed in the combustion chamber from frequent temperature changes, which can corrode the metal parts of the boiler.

The power of the boiler is directly dependent on the size of the room. You also need to make allowance for the climatic conditions in which you live. Divide the area of heated premises by 10, and multiply by a factor of 1.2 - 1.5 for the Moscow region, 0.7 - 0.9 for the southern regions, 1.5 - 2 for the northern regions - and you will get the required power. Thus, for a house with an area of 100 square meters, located in the Central region, requires a device with a capacity of at least 12-15 kilowatts.

The power can be adjusted. Low-power boilers have a single-stage power control. Heating devices of average productivity are equipped with two-stage adjustment. High-performance boilers are equipped with modulated power control.

According to the type of installation, wall-mounted and floor standing boilers. Each type of installation has its own characteristics. But, no matter what boiler we install, before its direct installation, a number of requirements must be met that are established by certain SNiPs.

For devices that are installed on the territory of the Russian Federation, the requirements are determined by SNiP 41-01-2003 "Heating, ventilation and air conditioning", SNiP 31-01-2003 "Residential and multi-apartment buildings", SNiPOM 42-01-2002"Gas distribution systems" and other governing documents.

Rules for installing gas boilers in a private house

room

Requirements for parts and equipment parts

Gas outlets (or, as they are often called, chimneys)

  1. The passage for the removal of combustion products must be separate from a conventional chimney.
  2. Horizontally, its length in the boiler room should not exceed three meters.
  3. The gas outlet can have no more than 3 elbows.
  4. The diameter of the gas outlet and the power of the boiler must correspond (for power up to 30 kW D=130 mm., for power 40 kW D=140 mm.)
  5. The diameter of the gas outlet must not be less than the diameter of the hole for connecting the gas duct.
  6. The outer end of the gas outlet must be at least half a meter above the roof ridge.

AT modern boilers with a closed combustion chamber, the so-called coaxial chimneys, which are sold and installed together with the heating device. When installing such boilers, the dimensions of the room are not important, since the combustion air does not come from it, but from the street.

These General requirements may vary slightly in different regions, they are constantly being finalized and refined. In addition, there are nuances that the gas supply in the house is not central, but bottled. At the same time, the rules and requirements for installing a gas boiler will differ in some features. There is a difference in what material the house is built from, what are the floors. In order to avoid problems at the project approval stage, it is better to invite a specialist and inspect the house in advance for possible shortcomings.

What actions need to be taken for obtaining permits for the installation of a gas boiler:

Agreed project and is a permit for the installation of a gas boiler.

Mounting

The installation sequence of the floor boiler

  • The boiler is installed on a solid base that can withstand its weight. To do this, either fill concrete screed or a sheet of galvanized iron is laid on the floor.
  • When placing the machine on a base, make sure that it is exactly parallel to the ground.
  • Connect to the chimney and check the draft.
  • Connect to the pipes of the heating system, while installing a hard water filter (after the outlet line before entering the return line boiler). On both sides of the filter, put shut-off mechanisms (for example, ball valves). Install ball valves on all branch pipes.
  • Double-circuit boiler connect to plumbing. It is better to make a tie-in into the water supply system as close as possible to the entrance of the pipe into the building or to the point of branching of the pipe. It is better to connect the water supply pipe from above, the water return pipe - from below.
  • Connect to the gas pipeline. This can only be done by a master gasman; you cannot make a tie-in yourself.
  • Connect to power supply.

In both installation variants, the system must be filled with water before the first start-up. To do this, the device must be turned off. Water should be drawn very slowly - this is the only way you will get rid of air "bubbles" in the heating system.

It should also be remembered that the installation of any gas equipment cannot be carried out at sub-zero temperatures, the temperature must be from 5 to 35 degrees.

Maintenance of gas equipment

Gas appliances should be serviced regularly, at least twice a year. Be sure to do this before the start of the heating season. The specialist must check the tightness, condition of the chimney and ventilation system, clean the filters and the burner, replace worn parts.

Installing a wall-mounted gas boiler involves several logical steps. At the first stage, the purchase and delivery of the boiler, purchase required material You need a tool to install and assemble.

Material for installing a wall-mounted gas boiler

Installation of a wall-mounted gas boiler begins in the store. Of course, this is not the installation itself, but preparation for it. When buying or ordering a wall-mounted gas boiler, you need to find out or inspect whether the boiler is equipped with fasteners. Usually these are hooks and power dowels. If this fastener is not included with the boiler, it must be purchased.

It should be noted that "reputable" manufacturers of boilers complete the boiler with special installation patterns, according to which marking and drilling of holes for fixing the boiler is carried out.

Note: Let me remind you that when choosing a wall-mounted gas boiler and buying it, you must definitely be interested and require a certificate of conformity for the selected boiler model. Without this certificate, legalization (obtaining permission to connect) will be very problematic.

Gas wall hung boiler installation tool

For work, you need to prepare the following tool:

  • Electric drill or hammer drill. A drill is needed to drill holes for fasteners of a gas boiler.
  • Building level, more than 1 meter long.

The building level plays an important role in the installation of a gas boiler, and especially a condensing gas boiler. Any roll of a condensing gas boiler will lead to its failure in the shortest possible time. ok, replace building level, laser level, it will improve the installation accuracy.

Preparing the wall for the installation of a gas boiler

The room where the wall-mounted gas boiler will stand must meet a whole list of requirements for the furnace room. Often, wall-mounted gas boilers are placed in the kitchen and the place in the kitchen must be prepared for the installation of the boiler.

In addition to ventilation, ventilation and other rules, special attention should be paid to the wall on which the boiler will be placed.

  1. The wall for hanging the gas boiler must be strong. The material or construction of the wall must be suitable for the installation of a load-bearing fixture on which the boiler will hang.
  2. If the wall for hanging the boiler is made of plasterboard, then in advance in the frame of the plasterboard structure, it is necessary to provide and lay firmly fixed wooden blocks at the mounting location.
  3. If the material of the wall or its finish is potentially combustible, a non-combustible gasket from 3 mm thick and more sizes boiler 10-15 cm.
  4. According to the norms, a wall-mounted gas boiler should be 40-45 mm from the wall. Therefore, the gas boiler is not mounted on the wall, but on bars previously fixed to the wall.

Hanging a gas boiler on the wall

  • Mark the installation level of the gas boiler. Height from the floor from 800 to 1600 mm.
  • On the wooden wall fasten a non-combustible material (asbestos) and a piece of metal sheet (galvanized sheet).
  • Other types of wall, for aesthetic installation of the boiler, clad ceramic tiles.
  • If the boiler is not equipped with a special bracket, install bars at the level of the gas boiler mounting in order to achieve the indentation of the boiler from the wall.
  • Mark the places for fixing the gas boiler. Usually, the packaging or instructions contain the exact dimensions of the boiler mounting points or an installation template. It is important to maintain the exact horizontal level of the gas boiler.

Important! The condensing gas boiler should be hung with a slight slope, “away from you”, that is, the distance from the boiler to the wall above should be less than the distance to the wall below.

Important to remember! Whatever material the heating system in the house (apartment) is made of, the boiler is connected only with metal pipes.

Preparing the gas boiler for hanging

Before the shed of the gas boiler:

  • The boiler is taken out of the package;
  • The marking plate on the boiler body is checked against the certificate and invoices;
  • The bracket included in the boiler kit, or other selected fasteners, is screwed to the mounting place on the wall;
  • All factory plugs are removed from the boiler;
  • It is MANDATORY to flush the system of internal pipes.
  • The gas boiler is hung in place.

After hanging, the horizontal position of the boiler is verified, if necessary, an adjustment is made. Everything! Hanging, or rather, the installation of a wall-mounted gas boiler is completed. The next step is to connect the gas boiler to the system.

When buying a gas boiler, many people want to save money and install it themselves. Can it be done? In some cases, yes, but it’s still impossible to completely do without specialists. After all, gas is an explosive fuel, and its connection by persons who do not have a special license is illegal. The remaining work on the installation of a wall-mounted gas boiler can be carried out without the involvement of specialists, but all the requirements of the relevant SNIPs should be taken into account.

Please note that not all manufacturers allow the possibility self installation. For example, Ariston, Viessmann, Bosch recommend using the services of specialists only from their service centers.

BAXI, Ferroli, Electrolux are more loyal to the issue of installation and allow the installation of a gas wall-mounted heating boiler with their own hands.

Therefore, before buying a particular model, read the documentation and check whether it is possible to install this unit yourself.

Note! First thing before starting installation work a draft should be developed and approved by the relevant supervisory authorities.

The requirements for the room in which the wall-mounted gas boiler is located depend on the type of combustion chamber: open or closed.

Open combustion chamber uses air for the combustion process from the room in which the heating system is located, and the exhaust gases are removed through the chimney. Such gas boilers require the presence of a certain volume of air, otherwise the gas does not burn out completely and forms toxic toxic substances. Therefore, the operation of units with an open combustion chamber is only permissible in a separate room, which is called a boiler room or furnace room. It is necessary to provide a window in it for the possibility of ventilation with an area of at least 0.5 m². The walls of the boiler room must be finished with fire-resistant materials.

The volume of the furnace depends on the power of the gas boiler:

  • if it does not exceed 30 kW, then a room with a volume of 8 m³ is sufficient;
  • for a boiler with a capacity of 30-60 kW, a boiler room with a volume of 13-14 m³ is required;
  • for units up to 200 kW - from 15 m³.

The connection of the boiler and a conventional chimney is made by using iron pipe a certain section. It must be resistant to high temperatures and toxic combustion products. When installing a connecting pipe, the following rules must be followed:

  • the length of its vertical part when leaving the boiler before turning must be at least two diameters;
  • position the connection with a slight inclination towards the unit.

Closed camera type combustion suitable if there is no possibility of a separate furnace device. Complete with such boilers is a coaxial chimney, which is quite easy to install on your own. It is a structure of two pipes, one of which is inserted into the other. With a closed type of combustion chamber, air enters from the street through an external pipe, and combustion products exit into the atmosphere through an internal one.

If you have chosen a gas boiler with a closed combustion chamber, then keep in mind that such equipment will require an electrical connection to provide power to the fan, which creates an air flow through the coaxial chimney.

Gas units equipped closed cells combustion are considered safer and more environmentally friendly, so they can be placed in the bathroom, kitchen or pantry.

Do-it-yourself installation steps for a gas wall-mounted heating boiler

Before starting work, be sure to familiarize yourself with the attached manufacturer installation instructions for a wall-mounted gas boiler, as different models may have their own nuances and subtleties of installation. If this is not done, an incorrect connection will lead to all sorts of leaks or to the fact that the boiler will not be able to work at all.

Wall mounting

The first stage includes wall mounting. The boiler is hung on a special bracket, which the manufacturer usually puts in the kit along with the device. Sometimes it happens that the fasteners from the kit do not fit, then you have to select the appropriate parts yourself. Also, when installing a gas unit, the type of wall is taken into account - depending on it, fasteners are selected.

The bracket is fixed in such a way that it can support the weight of the equipment and ensure a level position.

The section of the wall behind the unit must be protected with non-combustible material. Installation of a wall-mounted boiler should be carried out so that the unit is no lower than 80 cm from the floor, and the gap between its rear surface and the wall is at least 5 cm.

Note! A special cardboard template will help to install. On it you can mark all the necessary fastenings and connection to the chimney. The template is applied to the wall and all marks are transferred to the wall. After that, it is removed.

Heating and plumbing connection

The second stage is the connection of heating and water pipes. Their number depends on how many circuits are in the boiler. Before installation, do not forget to remove the plugs from the nozzles. Filters should be placed on the pipes through which water from the heating main will flow to prevent dirt or debris from clogging the system.

Water quality is important - if it is hard, you will have to install treatment equipment, such as polyphosphate dispensers.

The boiler pipes are connected to pipelines using a threaded coupling. For tight fixation, fum tape is used.

Connecting the boiler to gas

To complete the third stage - to connect a wall-mounted gas boiler to a common line, only a specialist in the gas service or an organization licensed to carry out such work can.

Self-connection is illegal, moreover, it can lead to an irreparable tragedy. Therefore, the first thing to do is contact the gas service. There will be developed technical conditions for connection specifically for your equipment.

Gasification can be carried out underground and aboveground. For underground, polyethylene pipes are used, which are very resistant to corrosion. The above-ground method involves the use steel pipes, which are included in the structure near the location of the gas boiler at a height of 1.5 m from the floor.

If there are several heaters in the house, gas is supplied to each of them separately. It is forbidden to lay the highway inside the premises.

Sealing of all pipeline connections is carried out using paint or tow. A gas filter must be installed on the tap, which protects the boiler from debris and condensate.

Electrical connection

The fourth stage is connecting the unit to electricity. Many modern models wall-mounted gas boilers are equipped with complex system automation. It allows you to control the operation of the boiler without the intervention of the owner, and also controls safety.

Double-circuit units are produced in two versions: with a socket and with a cable for connecting to the machine.

If you bought the unit with a conventional plug, then you should place it closer to the outlet. According to safety requirements, it should be placed next to the boiler, and not under it. This is necessary to avoid a short circuit, which can cause leakage of coolant from the device.

The gas unit requires mandatory grounding. To do this, purchase a point grounding kit, which can be placed in the basement of the house or next to it.

In order for the automation to serve for a long time and not fail, it is necessary to provide the unit with a stable voltage without significant drops. If this condition is not met, you will have to buy a stabilizer.

For details on the installation and connection of communications to a wall-mounted gas boiler, see the video.

First start-up of a gas boiler

The first start-up of the wall-mounted gas unit must be carried out by a specialist. He will set the boiler to a certain mode and check the correct operation of it.

Before starting, the unit is slowly filled with water until its pressure in the system is 2 atmospheres. The tightness of all connections is carefully checked. In the process of commissioning, a specialist can ask all questions of interest regarding the operation of the heating device.

If the boiler is working correctly and everything is in order, sign the act of putting the unit into operation.

The house, by definition, should be warm. There are many ways to make it so. However, each owner strives to make this the most economical and practical method. One of these options is the installation of a gas boiler. Gas heating is profitable and quite simple to install and operate. The connection of devices should be carried out only by specialists, but the arrangement of the boiler room, the installation of the boiler, etc. You can do it yourself and save a lot of money.

The installation of gas equipment should begin with obtaining permits and the necessary approvals. It is necessary to order a project for gasification of premises, installation of gas equipment. The document is developed and approved by specialists from the gas supplier company. After getting acquainted with the project, you can start buying necessary equipment, the main characteristics of which should be present in the document. In addition, an agreement on the supply of natural gas should be concluded. After that, you can directly engage in the installation of the system.

We equip a suitable room for the boiler

The gas boiler is the main element of the heating system. To install it, you will need to properly equip the room. It must comply with a number of strict requirements, the violation of which entails significant penalties and provokes accidents with the most serious consequences. Gas is an explosive and combustible substance. You have to be extremely careful with him.

The room in which it is installed gas equipment must meet a number of requirements. The main characteristics of the boiler room are presented in the form of a diagram

When choosing a place to install a heating gas boiler, the following requirements for the room must be taken into account:

  • in one of the walls there should be a channel for the removal of combustion products;
  • mandatory natural light. The minimum window area is calculated by the formula: per cubic meter of room volume - 0.03 sq. meters of window surface;
  • ceiling height at least 2.5 m;
  • layout that provides unhindered access to the boiler and auxiliary equipment;
  • the presence of a ventilation grill located in the lower half of the wall or door. The construction area is calculated based on the ratio of 8 square meters. see gratings for each 1 kW of the boiler;
  • volume - at least 15 square meters. m;
  • fire resistance of wall structures - at least 0.75 hours;
  • the presence of a gas analyzer and an automatic valve that responds to its signals, which will shut off the fuel supply in the event of a gas leak;
  • a well-organized chimney, the cross section of which must correspond to the power of the equipment;
  • the width of the door should not be less than 80 cm.

It must be remembered that the installation of gas boilers with a power of less than 60 kW is allowed in any room, except for those intended for living. It is also not recommended to install gas equipment in the bathroom or bathroom. Double-circuit appliances are not allowed to be installed in kitchens. If the total power of the equipment is not higher than 150 kW, it can be placed on any floor of the building. Higher power appliances can only be located on the ground floor or in the basement.

Many people prefer to place gas equipment in the kitchen. In this case, the standards governing the installation of gas boilers require that the required minimum area be calculated based on the fact that at least 0.2 m 2 of the room per 1 kW of power. If the kitchen is combined with the living room, the presence of a gas analyzer becomes mandatory, which can notice a possible gas leak in time.

If the power of the boiler allows, gas equipment is often installed in the kitchen, even if it is a room combined with a living room. In this case, the presence gas analyzer becomes mandatory measure precautions

Gas equipment installation technology

In order for the installation of the boiler to proceed without complications, it is necessary to pay attention to the method of its fastening even during the purchase of equipment. You should check the complete set of the device and find out the presence of fasteners. If they are not, you must immediately buy the right ones. In addition, when buying equipment, be sure to check whether it has a certificate. In the absence of a document, serious problems with registration are possible. Device characteristics and serial number printed on the inner door of the appliance must match the information indicated in the passport.

Option # 1 - installing a floor boiler

Before installing the floor unit, you should prepare a place for it. Let's start with the floor. Since the equipment is heavy, the base must be strong. You may need to fill the screed. The floor on which the boiler will be installed must be made of a material with a non-combustible coating. If this is not the case, hollow concrete blocks 100 mm high and covered from above with a sheet of metal 0.8 mm thick. As an option, the use of refractory boards approved for such purposes can be considered.

The appliance must be positioned at a distance of at least 0.1 m from the wall, provided that the coating is made of non-combustible materials. If it is necessary to move the appliance close, the wall must be fireproof. In this case, the base is insulated with roofing steel, which is superimposed on an asbestos sheet with a thickness of at least 0.3 cm. The insulation must overlap the dimensions of the appliance body along the perimeter by at least 0.1 m. gas burners must be at least 1 m away from the walls.

The equipment is installed on the prepared base as evenly as possible. For verification, the building level is used. If necessary, solid non-combustible material is placed under the legs of the appliance. The boiler is connected to the chimney and in-house heating system. To prevent rapid clogging of the heat exchanger, a hard filter is installed before the return inlet. If the boiler is double-circuit, it is connected to a pipeline with cold water.

The floor gas boiler must be installed on a prepared base. The floor, if necessary, is reinforced and a base of non-combustible materials is installed. Most often, these are hollow concrete blocks 100 mm high, covered with a sheet of metal.

Experts recommend installing the boiler so that it can be easily dismantled. Shut-off valves are installed on all pipes connected to the device. They will make it possible, if necessary, to dismantle the equipment without unwanted discharge of water from the operating system.

It must be remembered that a complete installation of gas boilers cannot be done with your own hands. Be sure to invite a certified specialist who will check the correctness of the installation, perform the remaining necessary measures and start the system.

Option # 2 - connecting attachments

Proper installation of gas wall-mounted boilers begins with flushing the inner tubes. During assembly, various small debris that must be removed could well have got into them. To do this, the plugs necessary for transportation are removed from the device and water is passed through it under slight pressure. After flushing, the equipment is ready for installation.

The wall where the appliance is to be fixed must be very even and strong enough to support the boiler and related appliances. If the base is made of combustible materials, a non-combustible gasket with a width of at least 3 mm is attached to it. In this case, the boiler is fixed at a distance of at least 4.5 cm from the wall. The installed appliance must be at least 20 cm away from other equipment or flammable materials. It is not recommended to place the boiler near a window or in a small wall opening. The power source must be close to the device.

The device is mounted on slats that are mounted on the wall at the desired height. Usually it is in the range from 0.8 to 1.6 meters from the floor. After fixing the device with a level, the installation horizontal is checked. All identified discrepancies are corrected, otherwise it may adversely affect the operation of the equipment. Connected to the water supply. Before this, the plugs from the nozzles must be removed. It is desirable to install filters at the water inlets, so the heat exchanger will be less clogged.

The wall-mounted gas boiler must be installed exactly horizontally, the installation accuracy must be checked by the level. Otherwise, there may be problems with the operation of the equipment, up to the occurrence of emergency situations.

The gas pipeline is connected to the boiler only with metal pipe rigid connection or through a special drive. A paronite gasket is mandatory. Direct connection of the system is carried out only by certified specialists who will check how correctly the boiler is installed and start the equipment.

Gas heating is efficient and economical. However, do not forget that the gas is potentially dangerous. No need to try to make an independent installation of gas appliances without special knowledge and skills. The cost of a mistake may be too high. Regardless of who installed the equipment, the connection is carried out only by specialists of the gas company. They also check the correctness of the installation. Do not save money on the services of professionals. Even if it may seem that the cost of their work is too high, believe that the life and safety of everyone who lives in the house is worth much more.

In all cases, wherever it is planned to place a gas boiler, on the floor or on the wall, the installation is carried out accredited specialists from Gorgaz.

Gas supervision will allow the installation, only if there is a certificate of conformity purchased equipment.

Installation of a wall-mounted gas boiler. Materials and tools

Having stopped the choice on the model you like, ask how to mount it on the wall and what is included in the kit to the boiler (hooks, power dowels). If the heater is sold without mounts, they will have to be purchased separately.

Refuse to buy if the unit is manufactured not a very reputable manufacturer. Either this is a novice supplier, or more likely, not particularly concerned with quality.

After paying for the purchase, you can carry it home and start mounting it on the wall. This will require tools.:

  • electric drill or hammer drill;
  • metal branch pipes;
  • building level(preferably laser).

With the help of the latter, they check how evenly the unit is installed. This is especially important for condensing gas boilers. The slightest deviation from the vertical guarantees breakage, and in the near future.

Site preparation for installation

It should be remembered that the room where the gas boiler is installed is considered explosive and must meet a variety of criteria established by law. Therefore, before placing an order, you should make sure that this is possible in your home, otherwise the purchase will become absolutely useless: Gorgaz will refuse to coordinate the procedure.

Usually a wall-mounted boiler is placed in the kitchen. Except ventilation and through hole on the front door(and in all cases it should go outside), pay attention to the wall itself. Make sure it is strong and will withstand the installation of power fasteners, and even the boiler on it. For this reinforce the wall with wooden dice. The wall covering must be non-flammable. If there is a risk that it will catch fire in a fire, a layer is placed on the wall non-combustible material, then the boiler.

Photo 1. Approximate dimensions of the wall-mounted boiler and the norms for its placement in relation to adjacent walls, floor and ceiling.

The unit, according to the rules, about 45 cm from the wall. Therefore, it is necessary to mount not directly on the panel, but on bars previously attached to the wall. Height from floor must be 0.8 to 1.6 m. The remaining walls for aesthetics are tiled with ceramic tiles.

Attention! When installing a condensing gas unit, remember that it hang with a bias "away from yourself", that is, the distance between the wall and the boiler at the top is slightly less than between the wall and the lower part of the unit.

Hanging the boiler

The installation procedure consists of the following steps:

  • unpacking boiler;
  • reconciliation of markings on the case with the data in the certificate and invoices for the device;
  • screwing the bracket or other suitable fastener;
  • removing factory caps from the unit;
  • flushing of internal pipes.

Now the boiler can be hung in the right place. Check the horizontal boiler, correct its position if necessary.

It remains to connect boiler to the system. If the master has already come on call, you can involve him in the work.

Chimney in a private house

Most often in houses there are boilers with closed hearth. This is understandable: they are easier to handle, it is easier to connect them to the chimney - just screw them on coaxial pipe . In private houses, a coaxial chimney is removed out through the wall.

Photo 2. Diagram of the chimney from the gas boiler through the nearest wall. Movement shown flue gases and air.

There are no strict requirements for the hanging height of the pipe, since draft is provided by the built-in fan. An open firebox implies the installation of an individual chimney, and special attention will have to be paid to the cross section of the pipe.

Attention! When purchasing a pipe, see what it is made of. Suitable for work only wear-resistant materials, not afraid of the vagaries of temperatures and the effects of combustion products.

Connection to the heating system

Actually to be done the same as when connecting the heating. The difference is in the taps and pipe diameters.

A filter is placed on the "cold" pipe, which will prevent dirt and metal particles from entering the heater.

Shut-off valves with detachable connections(the so-called Americans). It is much easier and faster to work with them, and if the crane fails, it is easy to replace it with a new one.

Cold pressure pipes connected to the left, oriented from the center of the unit, hot - with right side.

How to connect to a gas source

The branch of the gas main is connected by a flexible connection to the branch pipe on the heating unit. Shut-off valve must be equipped with a hermetically attached filter. Sealing threaded connection is carried out by means of paint and tow.

Do not use rubber hoses, they last a very short time. Usually a representative of Gorgaz stipulates this at the very beginning. Best fit stainless steel corrugated hose.

In the room where the wall mounted heater, mandatory gas sensor connected to the relay. If a leak occurs, the sensor gives a command to block the gas.

Will work at the same time sound alarm, notifying the owner of a breakdown.

Advice. This part of the work, as well as the first launch, must be entrust to an accredited representative of Gorgaz with permission from self-regulatory organization!

Double-circuit and single-circuit gas boilers

Differences in the principle of operation these two units are as follows. double circuit the heater will not only provide hot water from the tap, thanks to him all systems work as before, as if they had not turned off the hot water - this includes water supply, batteries, and even underfloor heating. The heat exchanger heats the water coming from the cold supply system.

Photo 3. Scheme showing the differences between single-circuit and double-circuit wall-mounted boilers. The first one requires a boiler.

Dual unit only contains a three-way valve, which controls the direction of flow of the coolant. The heated water is directed towards the central heating. When a hot tap is opened, a sensor inside the unit switches the three-way valve to another position - water flows into the heat exchanger, where it heats the water.

Attention! As long as the hot tap is open, the so-called a priority hot water , i.e central heating closed. Often users regard this nuance as an inconvenience.

So that you don’t have to wait for a hot stream (usually it appears half a minute, or even more after opening the tap), it is better to buy a boiler flow type with built-in boiler. However, this option is only suitable for apartments or small houses. For a large mansion or estate, it is unprofitable.

single circuit the boiler is used only for heating cold water coming from the water supply.
