Geyser bosch instructions for use. Geysers Bosch. Bosch instantaneous water heater. Bosch Geyser - Troubleshooting

On the market household appliances it's probably hard to imagine trademark better known than Bosch. The company quite successfully supplies products under its own brand all over the world, ranging from irons, refrigerators and ending with power tools. A separate division is the production of a German concern heating equipment: boilers and water heaters from Bosch-Thermotechnika.

Solid fuel and have been heating houses for many years, both in Russia and abroad.
Russian consumers are especially popular Bosch geysers, reviews of which can often be seen on specialized sites. Customers are attracted by the quality and reliability affordable price for instantaneous water heaters from a German manufacturer.

Let's find out together if it's worth it geyser Bosch to buy today, given such a wide choice of manufacturers in our time. For this, it is necessary to consider the lineup, prices and specifications device from a German concern, disadvantages and advantages compared to its direct competitors in the market.

Let's make a short review of Bosch geysers based on the operating instructions, as well as reviews from experts and customers. Let's analyze the main malfunctions of the Bosch column: why the igniter does not light up or the wick goes out, etc.

Model range and features of Bosch geysers

Bosch geysers, unlike their direct competitor, have a very wide range of models. Lots of modifications from different type ignition and performance, design and size. Water heaters are found in two colors: white and gray.

Geysers Bosch: model range

All gas instantaneous water heaters are assembled in Portugal, the difference is only one, the most budgetary model of columns - "Therm 2000 O", type W10 KB, which is assembled in China. Now let's look at all the models and series that are supplied to the Russian market.

1. Series Therm 2000O

This is a budget geyser with a small capacity hot water 10 l/min. This unit is equipped with automatic ignition from batteries, a tubular copper heat exchanger and a stainless steel gas burner.

As in the columns, it contains an emergency draft and flame control sensor, as well as a water temperature sensor and a gas control system. The Bosch W10 KB column has a compact size, and you can buy it inexpensively, from 8,000 rubles.

2. Series Therm 4000O

Most popular models are produced both with automatic ignition from batteries, and with piezo ignition by pressing a special button. Three types of different capacities and capacities from 10 to 15 l/min are available. Bosch geysers of this series have a high-quality copper heat exchanger for heating running water with extended service life up to 15 years.

Also, these models are equipped with a smooth modulation of the burner flame, with the help of which the device itself maintains the set outlet water temperature. An important advantage of this model is that this column turns on at a water pressure of only 0.1 atmospheres.

Flowing gas water heaters of this series have the following designation:

- Bosch column with automatic ignition (the article "B" is present): WR 10-2B, WR 13-2B and WR 15-2B;

- Bosch semi-automatic column with piezo ignition (marked with the symbol "P"): WR 10-2P, WR 13-2P, WR 15-2P.

3. Series Therm 4000S

The main feature of this model is the presence of a fan for forced draft. These columns can work without a chimney, i.e. no special construction is required. This feature is very convenient when it is not possible to install a chimney in an apartment or house.

The emission of combustion products and the flow of air into the geyser is carried out thanks to a special one, which is installed horizontally through the wall to the street. This kit is an option and is supplied separately from the device itself.

Another important feature of the Bosch AM1E series gas water heaters is the presence of a digital control panel, which displays possible mistakes in case of device failure. You can also set the water temperature and, thanks to even smoother and more precise modulation of the burner flame than the previous model, this water heater will maintain the temperature with an error of only 1 ° C.

The model is issued with three types of power, with a productivity from 12 to 18 l/min. Unlike other models, this series of devices is volatile due to the built-in fan powered by 220 V. They are marked as WTD 12 AM E23, WTD 15 AM E23 and WTD 18 AM E23, depending on their rated power.

4. Series Therm 6000O

The Bosch geyser of the six hundredth series is equipped with a built-in hydrogenerator. Automatic ignition in this model is carried out due to the flow of water through the column. When the tap is opened, water enters the water heater, and HYDRO POWER technology automatically turns on the gas water heater through a special hydrodynamic generator.

To ignite the device, neither a piezoelectric element nor batteries (batteries) are required. Available in different capacities: 10, 13 and 15 liters per minute. They have the abbreviation WRD 10-2G, WRD 13-2G, WRD 15-2G, the numbers show the performance.

The control panel has a small LCD display that only displays the water temperature. This parameter is set using a mechanical regulator on front side speakers and supported by the unit automatically.

5. Series Therm 6000S and 8000S

These are industrial models of geysers from a German concern. Productivity of water heaters of these series makes 24 and 27 l/min, respectively. These speakers are capable of supplying hot water 4-5 taps at the same time. Bosch water heaters are equipped with electric ignition and an informative LCD display on the front side.

Model 6000 S series has two built-in fans for removal of combustion products and air suction. Bosch 8000 S water heater thanks to special technology condensation has an increased efficiency of water heating. Besides, the water valve of this model is supplied with the electric drive.

The principle of operation of a Bosch gas column with piezo ignition is quite simple. We set the water temperature regulator to the “On” position, press the button of this regulator, simultaneously pressing the piezo ignition button from below. Hold the thermostat button until the column turns on. They also set the desired water temperature.

The principle of ignition of a geyser with automatic ignition is even simpler. We open the tap with hot water on the mixer, and the column turns on by itself, thanks to the batteries pre-installed in the device. For Bosch gas water heaters, they come with a column. The igniter for devices with piezo ignition burns constantly, and for automatic speakers, it fades when the device is turned off.

Technical characteristics of geysers Bosch WR series

Water heaters from a German manufacturer can operate on both natural and liquefied gas. The diameter of the pipe for supplying gas is 3/4 inch, water - 1/2. The diameter of the chimney pipe varies, and depending on the specific model, it ranges from 115 mm to 135 mm. Other options can be seen in this table.

Today we have examined the legendary manufacturer of household appliances, in particular, gas water heaters from the German concern. Detailed analysis of all models, series and specifications Bosch geysers. Reviews can be found different, but speakers from this manufacturer undoubtedly occupy one of the first places in the ratings for quality and reliability. Let's watch the video.

In fact, the only drawback of the devices of this brand is their price: a model of the Portuguese assembly will cost an average of 12-15 thousand rubles. And to decide whether to buy a Bosch gas column today or not, of course, only you.

household gas heaters(columns) are designed to provide consumers with hot water. According to the principle of inclusion, they are divided into automatic and semi-automatic. AT automatic dispensers responsible for lighting gas burners electric block spark generator, in semi-automatic columns, gas burners are ignited from a gas wick, with each analysis of water.

In the article, we will analyze what to do if a geyser with a semi-automatic ignition system does not light up, the principle of operation of the ignition system, the causes of a gas wick malfunction and methods for eliminating them.

The principle of operation of a semi-automatic gas column ignition system

The ignition system for semi-automatic dispensers consists of:

 • gas valve with electric flame control;
 • piezoelectric element;
 • wick;
 • thermocouples;
 • a sensor for monitoring the overheating of the coolant and the lack of draft in the smoke exhaust chamber;
 • connecting wires.

Scheme of emergency shutdown of the gas valve of semi-automatic gas water heaters (columns).

When you press the gas valve handle and turn it counterclockwise until it stops, the electric valve opens, the piezoelectric element generates a spark, as a result, the wick is ignited and the thermocouple is heated, which generates an EMF. After 10-30 seconds, the voltage should be 15 - 30 mV. This voltage is enough to actuate the magnet that holds the valve stem in the open position. When the electrical protection circuit is broken, the current is lost, the controlled valve moves to the closing position under the action of the spring. The gas stops flowing to the burners and the wick.

Reasons for the absence of a flame on the wick of a gas column

 1. The air supply hole in the wick is clogged. Through this hole, air is supplied to ensure the combustion of natural gas at the tip of the igniter.
 2. The solenoid coil burned out. An electric magnet holds the valve stem, if it breaks, the valve will be closed.
 3. The thermocouple has failed. The thermocouple, being in a flame, generates a voltage supplied to the electromagnet.
 4. The sensors for monitoring the water temperature and the state of the chimney (presence of draft) are faulty. At a value of up to + 82 0C, the sensor is in a closed position, above this temperature its bimetallic plates diverge and the circuit opens. The normal contact between the two plates can be disturbed by surface oxidation, mechanical or thermal damage.
 5. The electrical circuit of the flame control system is broken. All elements of the flame control system are interconnected by wires. Their failure will inevitably lead to disruption of the entire system.
 6. The nozzle or gas supply pipe to the wick is clogged. The inner diameter of the tube is 2.5mm (outer 4mm), the nozzle outlet diameter is 0.1mm. These elements can become clogged with soot, dust, etc.
 7. The operation of the piezoelectric element is disrupted, from the spark of which the gas ignites.

Identification of the reason why the geyser does not ignite and troubleshooting

To determine the reason for the absence of a flame in the column wick, it is necessary:

 • Open the front panel of the instrument.
 • Check the condition of the nozzle and air suction holes, gas supply pipes to the igniter. If there is soot, dirt: remove it from the wick.

Ignition system for semi-automatic gas water heaters.

 • Examine the piezoelectric element for spark generation. If it is absent, inspect the wires, terminals for mechanical and other damage. Oxides on the contacts must be removed, damage repaired.

The location of the elements of a semi-automatic geyser responsible for ignition.

 • Determine the thermocouple voltage. To test the heat generator, unscrew the special plug of the electric valve. Carefully remove the special cable that comes from the thermocouple. Using a multimeter in DC voltage test mode, connect one probe through the crocodile clip to the outer sheath, lean the other against the center contact. Since the placement height between the contacts is small, make sure that the probes do not touch each other. Heat the working end of the thermocouple with a lighter. If the voltmeter readings correspond to 15 - 30 mV, the part is in good condition, with other values the generator must be replaced. If the special wire is not suitable for further use, replace the entire thermocouple.
 • Examine the valve inductor. In the valve connector, which was released when checking the thermocouple, insert one end of the probe into the middle of the connector, the other into its body. Tester in ohmmeter mode. The coil resistance should be in the range of 10-15 ohms. If the circuit is open or closed, the ohmmeter will record the value 1 or 0, respectively. The coil changes modularly, together with the stem and valve.

Measuring the resistance of the coil of the solenoid valve of the geyser.

 • Check the correctness of the control sensors. At room temperature the control contacts of the sensor are in the closed state. Using a multimeter, in diode test mode, examine the two sensor leads for continuity. The tester reading with a working sensor will be 0, in other situations, when the values correspond to 1 or a resistance of 1 - 600 Ohms, it must be removed, and a serviceable one should be installed in its place.

The location of the water temperature sensor and the gas column chimney sensor.

 • Check the condition of wires and connections. Wires with sensor contacts are connected by soft soldering, with a special plug to an electromagnet and a thermocouple. Carefully inspect the wires, soldering points, plug-in connection. Sometimes microcracks form at the soldering points, due to which the integrity of the entire chain is violated.

After each eliminated remark, it is advisable to check whether the column lights up or not.

Bosch Geyser - Troubleshooting

About six months ago I bought myself a Bosch WR 10-2p geyser. I installed it myself, and there were no problems during operation, it did not flow anywhere. Now soot has accumulated in it, and it has stopped heating water. I also decided to clean it myself. Please share your experience on how to do this. How to remove copper tube? To do this, simply raise the bracket and remove the tube? And I also want to remove the heat exchanger in order to completely wash it of any contaminants. I also noticed that the flame changed its color. If before it was even blue color, now it is blue-yellow. Why is she so dirty?

You have a bad flow fresh air, so a lot of soot is formed. You need to blow off dust from the burner and rinse the heat exchanger well. Work for about 2 hours and the instantaneous water heater WR10-2 p23 will be fine.

I have a Bosch WR 13-2p semi-automatic gas water heater installed. It has been working for 5 years, but now there is a problem. As soon as the cold began, strange things began to happen to her. And the water pressure is very good, the gas is also supplied with sufficient pressure. But the water comes in very cold, so in order for it to heat the water as it should, you have to set more than high temperature. In this mode of operation, after 5-10 minutes of heating, the unit turns off. I don't understand his device at all, but here's what it seems to me. I suspect that the problem is in some kind of sensor responsible for overheating. Perhaps it is very dirty, or broken, and gives the water heater a false signal. Or maybe my chimney is dirty? How can I repair the device?

Most likely, your chimney draft is broken, and therefore the Bosch column is turned off. Overheating protection is activated, the thrust sensor is responsible for it. Judging by the time after which the device turns off, then this is it. But other options are also possible. For example, if your model has a battery, then it could sit down. You just need to replace it. Checking the operation of the overheat sensor is simple. Contacts need to be closed. If the water heater continues to turn off, then this is not due to him. Perhaps the contacts in the “thermocouple - sensors” circuit are oxidized or loose. Then it will be necessary to check all contacts. There may be a large accumulation of carbon deposits on the thermocouple. Then it will need to be cleaned. Perhaps the flame does not reach the thermocouple, then it will be necessary to clean the igniter. Gas instantaneous water heaters WR13-2 p23 are available both with a thermocouple and with automatic ignition, in which battery-powered electronics are implemented. You have a geyser with a thermocouple. It contains a thermocouple connected in series. gas valve and an overheating sensor (draft sensor). If there is poor contact anywhere in this circuit, the gas valve closes. Accordingly, the column goes out. In order to check whether the draft is really good, it is necessary to close the contacts on the overheating sensor. If the device starts to work normally, then the sensor is faulty, or there is a problem with traction. If it continues to work incorrectly, then you need to look at the height of the flame, and how far it falls on
wick. Very often, at the Bosch column, the wick is set to minimum power, and if the draft is strong, it deflects the flame to the side, naturally it goes out. You need to inspect the water heater to say something more specific. In any case, you will have to fix this breakdown, since if the thrust sensor is faulty, it is forbidden to use the unit.

I decided to buy a Bosch W10 kb geyser. Studied it from all sides. I have a chimney, this is a pipe with a diameter of 12 cm, 2 m of this pipe lies under the false ceiling, and then it hangs from the ceiling for 1 m. I want to leave a pipe with a diameter of 12 cm running along the ceiling, and replace the rest with a pipe with a diameter of 6 cm. As I understand it, at the junction of pipes 12 cm and 6 cm, the pressure should drop by 2 times. That is, the flow will slow down. The chimney is even wider, so the pressure should drop even more there. Does this model have a powerful enough fan so that there are no problems with neighbors?

The Bosch column can be safely connected by realizing the air intake from the room. If you look at the instructions, it is written there in detail. Make the transition between pipes 6 cm and 12 cm, then connect your corrugation. All connections must be well insulated, as gas is supplied under pressure there. Your chimney does not affect your neighbors in any way. Everyone has their own access to the roof. You can also install a splitter to make air intake from the street, and the exhaust of combustion products is already in the chimney. Holes less than 15 cm can not be coordinated with anyone. The coaxial pipeline should not be taken out into the street, since it is necessary to observe the distance to the nearest windows. If you do not live on the top floor, you are unlikely to be able to provide this.

Tell me, please, the gas water heater Bosch WR 13-2b (gwh 15) on electronics. I went to different stores, sales assistants constantly confuse everything. I'm afraid they won't bring the one I want. Tell me more, what do the dances of the names 2B and 2P mean? Do any of them have a flow meter? If you know how much water has passed through the electronic unit, the column should automatically calculate how much gas
needed to heat water? Why then do these models perform so poorly? I don't understand. It should keep the temperature much better than mechanical.

The number 2 means the line number. The letter P means that the water heater works with a constantly burning igniter.

Gas control is carried out using a thermocouple. The letter B means that the device is powered by batteries. In it, the igniter burns only when ignition is in progress. Gas control by ionization. The numbers after WH are the number of liters per minute that, at a temperature of 25 degrees, at the set
gas pressure pass through the unit at the inlet. Any column where a mechanical drive of the gas valve from the membrane is implemented, and manual adjustment of the gas supply by the valve is installed, is considered mechanical. In the electronic model of the water block with a membrane, it is not structurally provided. Also there is no manual adjustment of the gas supply using a special switch knob. It establishes the necessary
temperature, and everything else is done automatically. Also there are installed inlet and outlet temperature sensors, and an air flow and turbine speed sensor.

How to turn on the Bosch WR 10 - 2P geyser?

It turns out that, no matter what power is set, the device is set to automatic combustion mode to maintain the required temperature. This reduces gas consumption, significantly reduces emissions into the atmosphere, and increases the efficiency of the device. Such water heaters work without problems. But they are usually connected to a 220 volt network. Since all automation, and other devices are powered by the network. Mechanical models have never been able to maintain the required temperature, since they do not have such systems for this. There was an attempt to release a Bosch Junkers valve-diaphragm device not only for ignition, but also for modulating the burner. But this line was not successful.

I installed a Bosch 10 geyser at my place. Moreover, it was adapted to work on liquefied gas. To do this, I installed other nozzles, and removed the jumper j6. But the device does not start, and I do not understand why. When I turn it on, the green button lights up for a few seconds, and then the red light blinks, and the fan starts to work. No more action is taking place.

Since the unit reacts to the inclusion of water by turning on the fan, it is first necessary to make sure that the pressure switch is working. This is the weakest point of all smoke exhaust models. If the fan turns on even when the tap is closed, and at the same time it is blocked, you need to look at the sensors and look for a break. Perhaps the contacts of the pressure switch are incorrectly connected or mixed up. After you have reconfigured the water heater, it was necessary to check its operation on normal gas to make sure that the unit is in good working order and there are no breakdowns in it. It may have been damaged upon delivery. So check the diagram. Call the temperature sensors, check the pressure switch. If possible, go into setup mode, set the knob to maximum. To do this, the torch buttons must be pressed and held, and then the switch must be switched, which must be held until it starts flashing. Also check the fuses located in the control box.

Water began to flow from my Bosch 15 gas column, and it flows from its upper part. It has been in operation for 8 years, and before that it had never broken down. Can I repair it?

Unlikely. Get ready to buy a new water heater.

There was a malfunction of the Bosch WR 10-2 p geyser. For 4 years she worked without any problems, but a month ago her radiator began to leak. In order to find a leak, I took it off and looked. I found damage to the top. It is impossible to solder there because of the ribs. In order to block the leak, I filled the defeated place with sealant. At the same time, I flushed the radiator. The water heater started to work well. But now there is a new problem. The device has stopped burning. The pressure is good, but the water at the faucet is cold. If you look through the viewing window, the gas burns not with a blue, but with a yellow flame. Also, the combustion power is much less. What could be broken? There is a draft, I checked it with a lit newspaper. Gas is supplied with good pressure, checked with gas stove, which burns without problems. A boiler connected to this gas also works.

On the flow gas water heater WR10-2 p23 try to disassemble and clean the heat exchanger and burner. You also need to blow out the igniter. This should be done as soon as the flame begins to change color. To solve the problem, try unscrewing the two screws on the side and in the center, but do not remove them entirely. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the burner and pull it out. Find a rubber ring there. Do not forget to lubricate it with either soap or special silicone grease. Also find the wire with the solenoid valve and disconnect it, without this you will not be able to disconnect the burner from the unit. The heat exchanger will also have to be removed, as it will interfere with the dismantling of the burner.

I have a Bosch WR 15 geyser installed. Old electric boiler we turned it off and took it away, and in its place we installed an apparatus with a generator. Now nothing works. Water is supplied with a pressure of 3 atmospheres. The gas pressure is 2000 MP, instead of the prescribed 1300. That is, everything is supplied as it should. We launched it like this. The first time ten attempts, after opening the hot water tap, clicks were heard from the water heater, and then the EA error appeared. The instructions say that there is no gas on the main burner. Tried to run it multiple times. After that, the flame appeared. The water began to heat up, but not to the desired temperature. The device shows 58 degrees, but in fact the water is much colder. And then the flame went out again. It seems to me that some kind of valve does not work completely. The height of the flame is not more than 4 cm. To solve the problem, I want to try to adjust the gas pressure in front of the burner. Is it correct?

The pressure is sufficient for the device to work correctly. But note that it must be measured not only when the water heater is turned off, but also when it is running. It should not fall below 13 millibars. If the pointer shows 58 degrees, then it could theoretically heat up to that temperature.

The initial problems with starting are also logical, there was air in the system and it took time for it to come out. The flame goes out most likely due to the operation of the protection, you may have problems with traction.

Check contacts and sensors. Also check the amount of power from the generator using a multimeter. A stuck valve usually either opens or does not open. You can try to blow through the gas fittings, but not more than 0.3 kg/cm. It is not designed for more pressure. You can also check the valve with a 3 volt battery, when it is triggered, a click is heard.

The Bosch WR 10-2p geyser is faulty. When starting, clicks are heard, and even sometimes it lights up, but only if the water supply tap is open to the maximum. The water is warm, but not enough. She used to be much hotter. After the device starts, the pressure of the water supply can already be reduced, and everything will work. If the unit does not want to work at all, I blow cold air on it, and the problem is solved. But you need to clearly find the point at which to blow. It is located next to the green indicator. During this procedure, the indicator flashes, and after a while the device starts working. Gas is supplied from normal pressure. What could be?

Try using the right control knob to reduce the flow. To do this, turn it in the direction of increasing the temperature to an average value. If you are blowing air on a valve or igniter, then you just need to clean the unit from dust. A spark should always appear.

Put into operation a Bosch WR 13-2 geyser. I adjusted the pressure, it is as it should be. But what confuses me is that if the tap is not fully open, at least halfway, the unit “puffs”, but does not light up. In the passport, I found the minimum water pressure. Really the minimum flow is not standardized?

The passport of the instantaneous water heater WR13-2 p23 indicates both the rated power and the rated flow at a water temperature of 25C. If the water does not heat up to the temperature you want, then the valve is not opening all the way. There can be many reasons for this. Need to figure it out. For example, the stem of the water block does not move in full amplitude, and accordingly does not fully open the gas shut-off valve. Even a minimal rupture of the membrane is enough to cause this problem. The internal valves could also be clogged. If you deal with the gas block, then there may be insufficient voltage supplied from the control unit to the valve. It may not be enough to open the valve all the way. The membrane could also be torn or stretched. The stock could stick. The control unit supplies voltage, gas from the front cavity is supplied to the pilot burner. The control unit receives a signal that a flame has appeared. After that, it applies voltage to the lower valve, which shuts off the gas supply to the anterior cavity. The gas pressure in the rear chamber moves the membrane forward, and the gas supply valve opens to the main burner. Gas escapes from the front cavity, and the igniter turns off. The flame control electrode continues to fix it, as the main burner is on. Using the gas supply adjustment knob, you can set the spring stiffness, which counteracts the displacement of the membrane. Set the gas supply valve to the main burner accordingly.

Geysers Bosch (this is the household name received by the instantaneous water heater) - a device in which cold water, flowing through the tubes around the heated heat exchanger, heats up and enters the consumer with a given comfortable temperature. Bosch geysers heat water with the help of energy obtained in the process of gas combustion.

At the end of the 19th century, the designers of the Bosch concern first designed a gas water heater. The device has undergone numerous upgrades over time and in our time represents fully automated products, which are still in demand in households where, for a number of reasons, there is no centralized supply of hot water.

Today, instantaneous water heaters are produced by companies around the world, Bosch is rightfully considered the leader in the production of these products. The Bosch concern offers the consumer the widest range devices with different power characteristics that are able to satisfy all the needs of the homeowner in heating the required volume of liquid.

Modern Bosch gas water heaters are able to heat water online. The owner absolutely does not need to waste time waiting for the right amount of water to warm up. Instantaneous water heater crammed with all sorts of sensors and valves allowing you to receive comfortable temperature at the point of water supply. Bosch geysers, regardless of model, are equipped with power modulation.

Thus, with an increase in water intake, the heating intensity automatically increases. If the consumer reduces the pressure by closing the tap, the burner automatically reduces the flame, reducing the intensity of work. The main advantage that unites Bosch gas water heaters is energy efficiency and economy, which translate into significant financial savings in the form of gas bills.

Before we begin the review of the Bosch instantaneous water heater, we suggest that you decide on the necessary parameters of the device that are right for you. There is no need to buy a Bosch gas water heater with a “reserve” in terms of power, this will only lead to high initial costs and subsequent overspending of gas and, as a result, financial resources.

On the other hand, the choice should cover all the needs for the consumption of hot household water. We talked about how to choose a Bosch gas water heater twice this and the second time, in them you will find seven answers to basic questions.
