Mora boilers - Faults and repairs

Why could the pressure drop in the Mora Top wall-mounted boiler?

You most likely have a water leak from the system. Check the heating system, the device itself and the make-up unit for leaks.

In Mora's exploitation, the water in the pipelines froze. Can I manually add water to the system in order to keep the unit running without having to make water from the system?

The water, which in your case is the heat carrier, is in the boiler under pressure. If the design of the heating system involves the presence of a drain valve, then through it you can easily pump as much water as you need (preferably through a softener filter). This can be done either from a line with a higher pressure, or using some kind of pump.

I have a Mora 5110 gas boiler connected. When I start it, there is a clear gas explosion in it. I think there are two reasons for this. Signal delay to the ignition electrode. Too strong gas pressure at the start of the device. When mounting the boiler, there were difficulties with its installation in the heating system (natural circulation). But all problems were solved. 7 years of impeccable work testify to this. Then, during a thunderstorm, lightning brought out several circuit boards, including those on the unit. The specialists of the service center only on the third attempt were able to solder something on the board so that it would work. There were no problems all winter. And then the above reasons began with a gas explosion. After this phenomenon, it shows error E2. After it is completely de-energized (I physically disconnect it from the outlet), it works for a day, or even more, as usual. And it may start to "explode" again. In any case, error E2 is the result of such operation of the unit. I have not used DHW until now, as I did not have a sewer. There were also problems with the valve that supplies water to the heat exchangers (hydraulic). Tell me, is it possible to fix the device without changing the board?

You left out another possible reason. It is possible that your boiler is fed too rich a mixture (not enough air, too much gas). The reason for this lies in the violation of draft or poorly organized supply ventilation. Error E2 in your case indicates exactly bad traction. We recommend that you check the chimney as well.

The client cannot start the Mora Titan 14SK gas boiler. Called me. I repaired the flow sensor and gas valve. And it turned out to put it into operation, I left. The unit worked exactly a day and got up again. What could I be missing? Device data. It has been in operation for about three years. But of these, he only worked for a couple of months last year. This year, it failed to connect. Worked exclusively for liquefied gas(only 1 bottle of 50 liters was installed). Inlet pressure 20 bar. The igniter burns well. The flow sensor is working, the membrane is intact, the springs are not broken. The device was able to start after turning the plastic adjusting shaft of the flow sensor (it completely closed the window in the membrane chamber). I also found that the main gas burner is in good order and starts when an equilibrium is reached between the gas pressure and the coolant pressure. I suggested to the client to put another cylinder, because I think that 20 bar is not enough. Feedback have not yet received. The client lives far away, and before going, I want to understand the problem as much as possible and in detail. Who can tell me what other settings or adjustments I can make?

That unit is equipped with MERTIK gas-water fittings. But the point is still not in the balance, since your unit is essentially a column modified for a boiler. The point is the very flow of water with which the system must work (the stem, moving under the pressure of water, opens the gas supply).

Malfunction of the Mora 5106 gas double-circuit boiler. It was purchased in 2008 and from the very beginning, its operation was very unstable. The last upgrade was the replacement of 20 mm metal-plastic pipes 25 mm polypropylene, to eliminate too rapid heating and shutdown of the device. And this happened many times a day. At the same time, some batteries remained cold. After this upgrade, the device began to work stably at low heat (without switching on and off). But a nuance arose: earlier it worked freely at a pressure of 1-2 bar, but now it shows an E1 error. I raise it to 2 bar - again the same error. Moreover, if you open and immediately close the tap with hot water then it starts working. But it can stop again by error E1 (pressure 2.5 bar). I am writing in detail about pressure, since I associate this malfunction with it. If the pressure is raised to 3 bar, the valve opens. At the same time, if the unit has already started working and heated the water to the desired temperature, then it will continue to work without problems, even if it is not very high pressure. The problem is this. In the morning, after a shower, it is necessary
see if the device gave an error, then, if there is an error, open and close the tap. Wait for it to start working, make sure that it is not going to turn off. What can be done about it?

Most likely, such a problem occurs due to a dirty stem or an old membrane. Since your device is not equipped with a pressure sensor, you can ignore what it shows. More important principle operation of the flow sensor in your unit. And yet, it has been working for you for many years, and it is advisable to still carry out its full maintenance, and especially the output valve body. Also check the pressure of the expansion tank (no more than 1.0 - 1.2 bar).

At the single-circuit wall-mounted boiler Mora Top, the heat exchanger jacket burned out. He has been working for 9 years. Is it normal?

Install the patch and solder it with hard solder.

Installed Meteor plus. When he was at work, we turned off the gas. Now, when trying to start, an E1 error appears. How can it be removed?

Reload it.

Mora Top connected. A sensor error has occurred in DHW mode. The boiler made clicks, but could not ignite. In October, the replacement of the vortex sensor on the DHW circuit was made. For three months everything went smoothly. Now when the feed turns on cold water, it works 12 seconds and turns off. Pause 10 seconds. And then everything from the beginning. The water does not come in at a uniform temperature: it is either barely warm or very hot. From the primary circuit, water comes to the heat exchanger with 70 degrees (now frosts), and the water is barely heated. Problems with the heat exchanger?

Most likely, you have a very clogged heat exchanger. Especially if overheating occurs with sufficient pressure. If you have a hydraulically operated three-way valve installed, then there is no way to switch it.

Yesterday I checked the sensor, marked with an arrow, and found out that the stem is movable. I disconnected the temperature sensor from the wires and the device showed error E4, but at the same time continued to heat the water slightly. Did I check the sensor?

A flow sensor is usually installed under the red arrow.

In operation since 2015, installed and connected the Mora Top Sirius boiler. For some reason, it began to spontaneously turn off (up to several times a week). Shows the error E9. Called several times service department, but the result is null.

It is necessary to repair or replace the gas valve with an electronic unit.

Boiler Mora Top Proxima-20 KK. I found a malfunction of my device, carried out its diagnostics, the error “boiler overheating” appears. I have looked at the instructions. There is a list of possible causes: a dirty filter, a pump failure or an emergency thermostat. Currently, his work is carried out in a cycle: a minute in work, three on a pause. The return pipe is barely warm. Batteries, those that are close to the device are hot, and those that are remote are cold. To solve the problem, I drained the water and re-pressurized the expansion tank. Then I filled the system with water. The problem hasn't been resolved. If you look at the thermomanometer readings, then the water scale shows everything as it should, and the temperature readings are 0, despite the fact that the water itself is very hot. If the DHW is working, then all the batteries begin to warm up equally well. Will installing a room thermostat solve the problem? If yes, what better fit to my system?

The thermostat will not help you, Check the control board or valve. Moreover, the replacement of the board is a priority.

The Mora 5112 gas boiler began to work in the on-off mode. In a minute, it can go out and start several times. And every day there is an error E2 (about twice a day). Error E5 rarely pops up. How can this be repaired?

Check the power supply (phase, zero, ground). Adjust valve settings. Clean burner and heat exchanger. The last option is to replace the board.

For nine years now, my house has been heated by a Mora Top gas boiler. I never had any problems with it until last year, when I started having problems with ignition. I cleaned the ionization electrode and the problem went away. I have a single-circuit thermostat installed, which controls the heating (opens and closes a three-way valve that has only two positions: open / closed). The coolant never changed, and the dirt was not drained regularly. Its temperature is set by a rotary regulator mounted on the body of the device. Now the main problem is overheating of the coolant when its supply to the batteries is cut off. Previously, the device was turned off very rarely (once a winter). Problem appears early
in the morning. It is when the thermostat turns off the water supply to the radiators. If the temperature of the coolant is 75C in the settings, then in a couple of minutes it heats the water up to 98C, despite the fact that its work stops. Next comes the error. If the temperature is set to 60C, then overheating occurs already up to 85C. And the emergency shutdown sensor no longer responds. Since I am preparing the device for the winter, I would like to know the following: Do I need to clean, or possibly change to a new one, the temperature sensor. What to do with the emergency shutdown sensor of the device? Where else could it get clogged and need cleaning? Do I need to redo the harness of the unit? Does it make sense to change the drive of the three-way valve to weather-dependent so that the batteries are switched off in steps?

In your case, several reasons are possible: The heat exchanger is clogged with scale. Because of this, poor heat dissipation and, accordingly, overheating. But this is only if the device emits extraneous sounds (crackling and tapping) when heated. It is possible that scale has accumulated on the sleeve in which the sensors are installed. Therefore, they determine the temperature with a strong delay. Everything needs to be taken apart and cleaned. And further, room thermostat it is advisable to connect, as expected, to the device, and not to a 3-way valve.

More's boiler broke. There is no pressure in it, and, accordingly, it does not start up. If you open the water supply valve on the pipe, then the pressure, according to the pressure gauge, does not increase. After some time, water flows out of the unit through the outlet pipe. With what it can be connected?

The pressure gauge is not working - it has a clogged fitting. And water flows out of the safety valve.

We carry out maintenance of the Mora Top boiler. Filled all heat exchangers yesterday hydrochloric acid. Left it to stand until the morning. Then I washed everything and installed them in their place. Still the same problem. During DHW operation, the temperature rises and the burner turns off. And so several times. Where should I look for a problem? The pump did the flushing of the primary heat exchanger, and the secondary soaked for a day. Then I washed them under pressure for an hour and a half. And the primary heat exchanger was immersed in a soda solution and kept there for several hours. There is pressure, the heat exchangers are definitely clean. Before flushing, there was the same problem: when the DHW is turned on, a slow rise in temperature is observed and the device turns off. In order to find out the error, I removed the clock protection. And immediately clearly saw that he was overheating. If the temperature is exceeded by more than 10 degrees, the device turns off the burner. Maybe the reason is the gas valve, which does not react enough to temperature changes and does not reduce the power of the burner? And another question about heat exchangers. I understand that if there is an obstruction in the secondary heat exchanger, then there is no heating in the hot water supply. And if the primary one is clogged, what does it mean?

If the DHW is still heating and at the same time a good pressure is maintained, then your problem lies in a faulty temperature sensor. It is also possible that the board has failed, or the throttle settings are incorrect. There are two ways to overheat water when parsing water for household needs. At normal pressure water. Then the boiler, when disassembled for hot water supply, switches to the mode of operation at maximum power. The pressure is set as recommended by the manufacturer, but the flow rate is too low. Normal gas flow, but the maximum pressure is too high. Too much gas is supplied and, accordingly, overheating. If you do not have a flow in the secondary heat exchanger (that is, it is so heavily clogged), then the device will not be able to switch to domestic hot water. After opening the supply valve hot water the flow sensor just won't work. If water even slightly enters, and its speed is enough to trigger the sensor, then it starts to work in DHW mode. But since the duct is too small, even if
correctly adjusted maximum gas supply, severe overheating will occur. There may be two options at the same time: both the flow is small and the gas pressure is high. There is another nuance, with a clogged secondary heat exchanger, the water supply can go unevenly (pulses). With this option, the water on household taps will be either cold or hot. In a place where a narrowing is observed, the flow rate drops sharply and severe overheating begins. The pressure in this place increases greatly (due to the pressure on the water forcing). And so everything repeats, so the temperature of the water is not constant. But not only the heating of water changes, but also its consumption. It is impossible to visually note this phenomenon, but it is enough to
water came to household taps with an unpleasant different temperatures. And it turns out that he is tactful.

There were problems with the Mora 5118 boiler. When hot water flows, the gas burner turns on and off. The same phenomenon is observed when working on the heating system. It also happens when the burner starts, a strong crack is heard. What to do about it and is it repairable? He himself replaced the capacitor with 0.68 microfarads, but this did not solve the problem. I noticed that a particularly strong sound is heard when I start the heating system after using hot water. If the water analysis is not used for a long time, then cod is not heard during the operation of the heating system.

Pay attention to the valve, it is he who can give such a crack. Check for temperature sensitivity adjustment on your board (there are two types). If it is available, then reduce the values.

Breakage of floor gas boiler Mora at 40 kW. For some reason, he began to turn off on his own. And when you start heard strong pops. What is it, maybe automatic? How much will the repair cost us?

The problem is most likely not in the automation. And the fact that your burner itself has become misaligned and dirty. Possible burnout of components.

Boiler Meteor 18 kW, for some unknown reason, does not hold pressure. What could be the breakdown?

Look for a leak (tightness broken).

Boiler installation. Commissioning

During installation, commissioning and maintenance of the boiler, it is necessary to comply with certain rules established by state regulations and the requirements of the manufacturer. The user must carefully study the "Operation Manual", "Warranty Card" and further be guided by the rules set forth in them.

Mounting

For installation of the boiler, as well as for its further safe and economical operation, it is necessary to have a qualified project for the entire heating system. The boiler may only be installed by a specialized service organization authorized by the manufacturer. Only the type of gas that is indicated on the type plate of the product can be used for the operation of the boiler. The installed and assembled boiler must not be moved to a new location. The boiler must be installed in such a way that the socket for the electrical connection of the boiler is located in an accessible place. If it is necessary to intervene in the operation of the boiler, it is imperative to pull out the plug from the mains socket. The boiler is designed to be mounted on a wall made of non-combustible material. On the boiler itself and at a distance of 100 mm from it there should not be objects made of combustible materials.

Commissioning

The commissioning of the boiler can only be performed by a specialized service organization authorized by the manufacturer, which has a permit (license) from the relevant State Supervision Services.

When putting the boiler into operation, a specialist of an authorized service organization is obliged to carry out the following:

    check tightness of connections

to adjust the boiler (if necessary)

control all functions of the boiler

familiarize the User with the rules for servicing the boiler and caring for it

warn the User about the need to maintain safe distances from the boiler to walls made of combustible material, and about how to protect them

Description of the boiler

Heating - with connected room thermostat

The boiler will start working when it receives a signal from the room thermostat to reduce the temperature in the heated rooms.
After receiving the signal, the pump accelerates, and the gas valve opens the gas flow to the main burner. Heating water flows from the pump to the heat exchanger, where it is heated and then enters the heating system.
The heating water temperature is recorded by the heating water temperature sensor. Heating of heating water continues until the boiler is turned off when the desired (set) temperature in the heated premises is reached.
Thus, the process is repeated as long as the boiler is connected to the mains.
The heating water temperature is set to the maximum value.

Heating - without room thermostat

The pump runs continuously. The operation of the boiler is controlled by the control and regulation unit in accordance with the temperature of the heating water set by the user with the control knob on the boiler panel

Domestic hot water heating (combined boilers)

Domestic hot water heating has priority over heating water heating.
The flow of water through the domestic water flow fuse will introduce the boiler into the domestic water heating process when the 3-way controlled valve changes the direction of heating water flow, and it will pass through the secondary heat exchanger, and from there back to the pump. Domestic water is heated from the heated heating water in the secondary heat exchanger.
After the end of the selection of warm utility water, the boiler will automatically switch to the heating process.

Domestic hot water heating (standard boilers)

Boilers designed for heating can also be used to heat domestic water in the MORA storage water heater. The storage water heater is connected to heating system, household water is heated by warm heating water ("WATER-WATER" system).
When installing the boiler together with a storage water heater, it is necessary to use a three-way valve with an internal microswitch, as well as a room thermostat - these elements are supplied upon additional request.

Security systems

The safe operation of the boiler is ensured by the following elements:

Heating and utility water flow sensors- they will not allow ignition of the main burner with insufficient water flow.

Emergency thermostat- closes the gas supply to the boiler when the maximum allowable water temperature in the heat exchanger is exceeded.

Backdraft fuse (boilers with flue gas discharge into the chimney)
If there is a blockage of the chimneys (even partial), which will contribute to the ingress (leakage) of combustion products into the room, the backdraft fuse will register an increase in the temperature of the surrounding space and cause the gas supply to the main burner to close.
The boiler can be put back into operation by re-igniting the pilot burner only after the fuse has cooled down, i.e. after approximately 10 minutes.

Pressure switch (boilers with exhaust gases "TURBO")
If there is a blockage of the pipes for the removal of combustion products (even partial), or the combustion of fuel worsens (it will be below the established norm) due to a decrease in the fan speed (voltage drop in the mains), or the fan does not work, the boiler will not turn on thanks to the pressure switch, so that combustion products do not accumulate in closed chamber combustion.

The backdraft safety device or the pressure switch must always function during boiler operation and must not be affected by anything (eg change of position).
If the backdraft safety device or pressure switch trips again, contact an authorized service organization for troubleshooting and a functional test.

Boiler operation

Control Panel

The control panel in the boilers MORA 5118, 5120, 5121,5122, 5124, 5125 is located in the lower part of the boiler behind the casing and will be accessible if the casing is lifted up by approximately 100 mm.

"ON/OFF" button
When you press the "ON/OFF" button, the boiler turns on or off. When the boiler is turned on, the button will glow.

Heating water temperature adjustment knob
Designed to set the required heating water temperature in the range from 30 to 80°C. If the room thermostat is operating, the heating water temperature is set to the maximum value.

Mode switch "SUMMER-WINTER" (installed only on combined boilers)
When the switch is set to the "WINTER" position, the boiler is prepared for operation - heating heating water or utility water.
When the switch is set to the "SUMMER" position, the boiler is ready only for the process of heating domestic water. This mode is mainly used in summer period when there is no need to heat the premises.

Thermometer
Shows the temperature of the heating water at the outlet of the boiler.

For boilers MORA 5119 and 5123
- the thermometer is installed on the boiler casing
- the "ON/OFF" button and the heating water adjustment button are on the left, under the boiler

Preparing the boiler for work

When preparing the boiler for operation, the following must be done:

check the water pressure in the heating system

open the inlets and outlets of heating water (or utility water) - (valves under the boiler)

open the gas supply to the boiler

A qualified specialist of an authorized service organization, when putting the boiler into operation, must:

Check pump mode - must be set to stage 3.

Start the boiler according to the instructions

    Check pilot burner flame

Extinguish the flame of the pilot burner - after 5-7 seconds the main burner should go out

After the ignition burner goes out, check the response time of the solenoid valve in the gas fittings - after 40-50 seconds, a characteristic click should be heard.

Check the function of switching the boiler to reduced power

    Carry out burner control:
check the main burner, the flame should only be near the outlets,
check the stability of the flame along the entire length of the burner plates.

Boiler start

The boiler is a fully automatic device. The main burner is ignited automatically by the signal from the boiler automation from the pilot burner, which is constantly on. The pilot burner is manually ignited. As an additional equipment, a piezo ignition can be installed on the boiler.

Boiler ignition sequence

    set the gas valve control knob (located under the boiler casing) to the position "ignition of the pilot burner". Keeping the knob pressed in this position, manually ignite the pilot burner (in the presence of an additionally installed piezo ignition, press the piezo ignition button several times until the pilot burner ignites);

    after ignition of the pilot burner, continue to hold the gas valve button (approximately 5-7 seconds). Then release and make sure that the pilot burner burns steadily;

    switch the gas valve handle to the operating mode. The boiler is ready for operation;

turn on the "ON / OFF" button - the button will light up. In the "Winter" mode, the main burner will light up, in the "Summer" mode, the boiler will start to work in case of hot water analysis.

Boiler decommissioning

long term
Long-term decommissioning of the boiler is carried out during maintenance and repair:

unplug the power cord from the socket

close the gas and water supply valves

short term

move the ON / OFF button to the "OFF" position

leave the power cord plug in the socket

leave gas and water supply valves open

Prevention. Maintenance. Boiler Operation Safety

Before starting operation, the User is obliged to carefully and thoroughly study the "Operation Manual.

Any manipulations and operations with the boiler that do not meet the requirements of the "Operating Manual" are unacceptable.

Installation, commissioning, preventive inspections and troubleshooting must be carried out only by trained specialists of a service organization authorized by the manufacturer, having the necessary state approvals and licenses. Information about all manipulations and operations with the boiler must be entered in the "Warranty Card".

During operation, the User must periodically monitor its operation.

MORA gas boilers must not be used for purposes other than those specified in the "Operating Instructions".

The boiler must be turned off if work is being carried out in the room where it is installed, which can change the environment (for example, work with paints, adhesives, etc.). The boiler can be turned on and used only after such work has been completed and the room has been thoroughly ventilated.

Possible breakdowns of Mora gas boilers that are not displayed on the screen

In addition to the error codes that the screen of the Mora heating boiler displays in case of malfunctions, there are breakdowns that the screen does not detect, but timely repair of the unit is still required.

The device cannot gain the necessary power for operation.

At the same time, the temperature of the water in the hot water supply or for heating does not rise to the set value.

The boiler always goes into minimum power mode during operation.

Problems in the electrical connection circuit of the modulator to the coils. Check the cable and contact in the control and regulation unit. Damage to the modulator on the coil. To eliminate this problem, a complete replacement of the gas valve is required. The unit is not configured, its minimum and maximum powers are set with an error. Re-adjustment of these parameters is required.

The appliance does not work in DHW mode

  1. The burner does not turn on, there is no water heating. Weak water supply for household needs.
  2. The DHW filter is heavily soiled. It needs cleaning.
  3. The differential valve is heavily soiled. It needs cleaning.
  4. The water supply pressure is lower than required. To fix the problem, you need to increase the water supply pressure.
  5. If there is sufficient water pressure on the DHW, the three-way valve does not switch. Check the water passage between the differential valve and the three-way valve. Clean if necessary.
  6. The 3-way valve has stuck. Try to fix the problem by turning the DHW supply on and off. If this procedure fails, install a new valve.
  7. Possible breach of integrity membranes in the hydraulic part of the three-way valve. You need to install a new one.
  8. The water supply is sufficient, the three-way valve switches from mode to mode. Check the clearance between the 3-way valve shaft, the transfer arm and the switch.
  9. Perhaps it's too big. You need to make adjustments.
  10. Breakage of the DHW switch. Replacement required.
  11. The problem is in the electrical connection between the switch and the control unit. Repair the chain.

The Mora wall-mounted boiler has problems with hot water supply, the working burner does not have water heating for household needs or is insufficient

  1. With good water supply pressure, the water in the taps is not heated to a sufficient amount. The problem is a heavily contaminated secondary heat exchanger. It needs cleaning.
  2. After heating water heated to the required temperature, there is an increase in pressure to two and a half bar. After that, the safety valve is activated, and part of the water is discharged through it. At the same time, when the water in the heating system cools, the pressure drops below the maximum permissible minimum value.
  3. Expansion tank problems. Possibly a seal failure. And you need to check the valve, and if it is damaged, install a new one. After that, you need to pump in the pressure set by the manufacturer.
  4. The membrane in the expansion tank is damaged. A new expansion tank needs to be installed.
  5. The pressure of the water supply for household needs is so high that it increases the pressure in the heating system to two and a half bar. It is necessary to check the valve on the hydroblock to replenish the heating system, it may be open.
  6. When the device is operating in automatic mode, air pockets are not removed. Valve cap too tight. Check it, unscrew it if necessary.

How safe are Mora-Top boilers? Mora-Top boilers are equipped with all the necessary elements to ensure their safe operation:

Without water flow or in the absence of water in the heating system, the burner will not turn on.
Without sufficient DHW flow and sufficient pressure in the heating system, the burner will not turn on.
The burner flame is controlled by a thermocouple, which prevents gas leakage.
If the chimney is clogged, thanks to the back draft fuse, the boiler prevents combustion products from entering the room.
If the fan fails, ignition will not occur, the manostat will prevent the boiler from starting (Turbo version).
Electronic control and temperature limiter in the heat exchanger will not allow overheating of water and heat exchanger in case of emergency, taking the boiler out of operation.

MORA boilers, like other boilers, require boiler maintenance for trouble-free operation, if the unit stops, then.

A single-circuit boiler differs from a double-circuit one. The question is what? It is undoubtedly that single-circuit gas boilers have only one circuit for heating. In other words, this means that a single-circuit boiler is intended only for heating houses. To organize a hot water supply system, it is necessary, in this case, to use a DHW boiler, which is purchased additionally (a list of recommended boilers is given in the description of each single-circuit boiler), or a geyser, which is installed separately. Unlike the first, double-circuit gas boilers have two circuits, one circuit is designed for heating, the second for heating domestic water (). This means that a double-circuit boiler is used for both heating and hot water supply. Boilers are both wall-mounted and floor-standing, with an open combustion chamber and with a closed one, with atmospheric gas burner and forced draft burner. Let's analyze what is a floor gas boiler with an atmospheric burner with an open combustion chamber.
Floor cast iron gas boiler with atmospheric burner is heater, designed for heat supply of objects for various purposes. Depending on the capacity and number of installed boilers, these can be apartments, cottages, multi-apartment residential buildings, administrative and industrial buildings and facilities. Heat exchangers can be steel, copper or cast iron. Cast iron heat exchangers boilers, unlike steel ones, are not subject to low-temperature corrosion and have high thermal conductivity. It should be noted that atmospheric burners of MORA-TOP floor standing gas boilers are simple and reliable in operation, operate almost silently and consume very little electricity. When developing the MORA-TOP boilers, it was possible to ensure maximum resistance to pressure drops in gas networks and operation at low gas pressure.
Wall-mounted gas water heater. What is it? Wall mounted gas water heater (boiler or geyser) is a device designed for the preparation of hot water. The energy source of the gas water heater is gas. There are two types of gas water heaters - instantaneous and storage. When instantaneous water heaters cold water enters inside, passing through the heat exchanger, heats up and hot water is obtained at the outlet. AT storage water heaters it takes some time to heat cold water. After heating, when the tap is opened, this water enters the water supply network, gradually being replaced in the tank with cold water. When the supply of hot water is exhausted, it takes time again to heat a new portion of water. gas water heaters more common and easier to use. The flow principle of operation ensures the high efficiency of this device, since gas is consumed only at the time of drawing water. Wall-mounted gas boiler - what is it? A wall-mounted gas heating boiler is a heating device intended for heating houses and apartments, for hot water supply of premises for various purposes. As a source of energy for a gas heating boiler, natural gas is most often used, less often methane or propane - butane. Gas wall-mounted boilers MORA have an expansion tank and a circulation pump, which eliminates the need for their additional purchase and installation. Mora-Top gas heating boilers are compact in size and Beautiful design thanks to this, the appliances can be easily integrated into the interior of the kitchen or bathroom.

Error codes for boilers Mora (Mora)

List possible errors and malfunctions arising during the operation of the Mora boiler

Errors and malfunctions of the Mora electric boiler of the ELECTRA series with direct heating.

Less serious faults are signaled by the yellow "ALM" LED, which flashes at a frequency of 1 Hz if the fault has not been eliminated. The current fault code is determined by turning the switch. In the event of a malfunction, the boiler continues to heat, but with less comfort, as it will automatically switch to work in a lower operating system (SO1, SO2). In the operating systems SO1, SO2, SO3, remote signaling is performed by opening the contacts of the RM13 relay. Malfunction - code 13 is signaled if there is a critical decrease in the electrical, insulating resistance of one or more heating elements in the boiler body. The display of the code lasts 10 seconds, after which the value of the operating time of the heating elements will be displayed. The electric boiler software defines this heating as a critical decrease in electrical, insulating resistance, if there is no request from a TUV thermostat, TV or outdoor sensor. When generating a fault with code 13, regulation circulation pump given by the parameter for temperature run ID 66.

1. Fault code 08. No breakdown, normal operation, the boiler heats and shows the working status.

2. Fault code 09. Defective sensor for measurement DHW temperature.

3. Fault code 10. Outside temperature sensor defective.

4. Fault code 12. Modem not available - weak signal.

5. Fault code 11. The cascade line is broken.

6 . Fault code 13. Violation of the insulation of the heating elements.

If the fault is serious, the operating alarm is turned off and the fault code is displayed using LED diodes. An indication of a malfunction that has occurred is expressed by a constant yellow glow of the ALM LED. The boiler stops heating and after a maximum of 9 seconds, the boiler power is turned off. All features are disabled. Only the pump run remains active! The pump overrun is not performed if the fault code number is 01. In the operating systems SO1, SO2, SO3, the alarm is performed by opening the contacts of the RM13 relay. After the release of residual heat from the electric heat exchanger, the pump will be switched off if parameter ID 66 is greater than the actual temperature of the water in the boiler. In case the time counting method is set, the pump is switched off after the end of the time delay (parameter ID 65).
