The main sign of clogging of the heat exchanger pipes will be that the water from the tap flows actively, and the pressure through the column is weaker.
To clean the scale with your own hands, you should remove the casing from the water heater, drain the water and unscrew the union nuts from the heat exchanger outlets. After that, a special liquid for dissolving salts, which is sold in a hardware store, is poured into the tubes using a hose. Instead, you can use a solution with citric acid or vinegar. It is necessary to wait several hours for complete cleaning.
For prevention, the heating temperature should be set no more than 50 degrees. If the temperature is higher, the scale settles especially actively.
Radiator contamination

Norms for installation and connection of the Mora column
The main requirements are listed in the technical data sheet of the device and the user manual. Violations made during installation lead to a failure in warranty service boiler. Requirements:- The connection must be carried out by qualified specialists with the appropriate license and work permit. After installation, an act is drawn up (the form is in the passport of the device), a stamp is put on putting the water heater into operation.
- A coarse filter is installed on the supply pipeline, in some cases a booster pump is connected at low pressure.
- The column must not be installed in rooms with high humidity(bathroom, toilet), directly above gas stove, refrigerator.
- The room used for the boiler room must comply with the standards described in the SP and SNiP.
Do-it-yourself Mora gas column repair will inevitably lead to a denial of free service. If the breakdown occurred after the end of the warranty, call the gasman. It is better not to try to repair the water heater yourself..
Common breakdowns and troubleshooting of Mora's geyser:
- Main burner does not turn on- the reason is "dead" batteries, poor water pressure, lack of sufficient oxygen in the room.
- The presence of a leak - the rubber membrane of the water reducer broke through, corrosion corroded the heat exchanger (a copper coil is installed on the Mohr column, there will be a green coating in the place of leaks).
