Textile companies producing quilt pillows. Business idea: Production of pillows with eco-friendly natural fillers. Down pillows, blankets, bedding for your home

Human sleep is such a mysterious and unknown phenomenon that for many scientists it becomes a matter of a lifetime, about which they write treatises, conduct lengthy scientific disputes, and hold symposiums. If we don’t talk about some individual characteristics of the body, then any insignificant detail can disrupt sleep, for example, an uncomfortable bed, a light that has remained on, lumps on a sheet or blanket, and much more that can poison existence.

Choosing a way to solve a problem

If there are any serious sleep disorders, then you need to contact professionals. And when the problem lies on the surface, you can try to solve it yourself. Many people succeed in this. First you need to analyze in what state you go to bed every day.

Even if you get a little nervous, you can become a hostage to your fears and worries, because of which your sleep will definitely be disturbed. The next morning, a terrible headache awaits you, which can also affect your appearance. From the side of relatives and colleagues, questions related to your circles under the eyes may appear.

An important role in the formation of a good deep sleep is assigned to your bed. Everything should be such that you can feel like a master in your bedroom, and not a slave, acting for the sake of fashion trends. Everyone knows that nothing is more pleasant and comfortable than a down pillow and a blanket.

They are excellent at retaining heat, which is good in winter time when it's cold around but warm in bed. In addition, they are so comfortable and pleasant that it would be a crime to part with them. The production of pillows and down duvets is still a fairly demanded business today.

Exist different kinds blankets, you need to choose a specific one in order to start its production. The main difference between these products is the filler, which determines the ease of use and the resulting heat. Each consumer chooses for himself the type of blanket that suits him best, and you, as a manufacturer, need to navigate the modern needs of customers in order to start manufacturing goods.

Duvet

This type is the warmest and lightest, because down is a natural filler. The duvet has a very good thermoregulation, so in summer it is not hot under it, and warm in winter. Despite the fact that the fluff is treated with anti-allergenic impregnations, people suffering from severe allergies should refrain from such an acquisition. Making duvets is the most complex process.

Blanket

If you choose the production of such products, then you should know that they are characterized by almost all the advantages of down, but are heavier. However, this point depends on the preferences of the consumer. And the content of lanolin in woolen blankets makes them good for health.

wadded blanket

The advantage of such products is low price, hypoallergenicity and good warming properties. Cons can be considered a tendency to absorb odors, reduced durability. However, many consumers choose such products for themselves, so it makes sense to produce them.

Synthetic blanket

Now there are a lot of fillers of synthetic origin on the market, but their properties do not differ much. At the moment, polyester has become the most popular filler. Blankets made of it are unpretentious in use, they can be machine washed, they are warm enough and do not tend to absorb odors. Due to poor thermoregulation, such blankets can be a real punishment for the consumer, since when it is cold or hot in the house, it will be uncomfortable under it.

Basic moments

Of course, you can start your own business in the production of products stuffed with down, but at the moment there are alternatives such as synthetic winterizer and holofiber. These are very simple and fairly cheap fillers for bedding. The production of pillows and blankets using these fillings can become quite profitable. Gradually, you will be able to receive tangible income.

So, if you decide to start the production of pillows and blankets, then you should first draw up the legal side of the issue. Only after obtaining permission to organize entrepreneurial activity you can expect peace of mind. After that, you can open and equip your workshop without fear of getting any fines.

What is necessary?

To open a workshop in which the production of blankets and pillows will be carried out, you will need a room with an area of one hundred and twenty - one hundred and thirty square meters. It should have good electrical wiring, as well as a place to store raw materials. The current rules prescribe the obligatory presence of a bathroom and a washbasin.

You can start the production of blankets and pillows if you have technical specifications registered with the department of state standardization. You can compose them yourself, taking as a basis the acceptable technical conditions.

Pillows

Blankets are meant to keep you warm. There is a more important attribute for sleep. The production of pillows is a very important occupation, since it is this attribute that can turn relaxation into pleasure or torture. The filler for them can serve as the same materials as for blankets. Consumer preferences in this case are also very different. Some get small pillows that only fit the head, and for some it is important that the pillow is huge, warm. If your business is the manufacture of pillows, then hotels and inns can serve as points of sale in this case. The main thing is to find an approach to the management of these institutions.

As part of the rolling study of Roskachestvo, the parameters of quality and safety of products were studied 27 trademarks pillows. These are products under the trademarks AlViTek, Asabella, Belashoff, Comfort Line, Dream Time, Dargez, Ecotex, German Grass, Green Line, IKEA, Kariguz, Mona Liza, Nature "s, Ol-Tex, Primavelle, Sortex, Togas House of Textiles , Verossa, A "Elite, Horizon, Every day, Light dreams, Couch potato, Podushkino, Pierrot, Samson, TekStil. The study involved the most popular pillows among Russians in covers and without covers, filled with synthetic fibers, as well as mixtures of such fibers with artificial fibers. Pillows of all price categories, produced both in Russia and abroad, were tested. The cost of products participating in the test is from 150 to 4,000 rubles at the time of purchase. But what are the best pillows to buy?

Russian quality system standard

The Roskachestvo standard, in comparison with the current GOST, has tightening in terms of the linear dimensions of the product, the content of free formaldehyde and the resistance of the paint to various influences. In addition, additional quality indicators were included in the Roskachestvo standard, according to which the samples presented in the fan study were evaluated. These indicators are: specific surface electrical resistance and a change in linear dimensions after wet processing of the top fabric, the absence of a noticeable smell of the product.

The required level of localization of production for awarding a product with the Russian Quality Mark is at least 45% of the cost of the product.

Neutral, acidic or alkaline?

The well-known pH value from advertising characterizes the acidity or alkalinity of an aqueous solution. A pH level of 5.0 to 7.5 is considered safe for human skin. With a deviation to a greater side, we can talk about an increased content of alkali in a solution, to a smaller one - acid. Until recently, the pH level for bedding was not standardized by the current standards in Russia. For the first time, the Roskachestvo standard puts forward such requirements for pillows, since these products regularly and for a long time (on average, sleep lasts 7–8 hours) come into contact with the delicate skin of the face. In order to establish the pH level in the fabrics of the top of the product, the experts in the laboratories obtained an aqueous extract from each sample. As a result of the research, a pH deviation from the requirements of the increased Roskachestvo standard was revealed for six products. In each of the identified cases, the pH value exceeded 7.5 units, which indicated an increased alkalinity of the aqueous extracts of the studied products.

One product was found not to meet advanced standards. It's about about Dargez brand pillows that have been found to have elevated pH levels. Despite the fact that this indicator is not regulated in any way by law, it is provided for by the Roskachestvo standard.

In the course of laboratory tests, in each of the samples, the following were also determined: the index of toxicity of materials, indicators of color fastness to various influences, odor intensity and the presence of free formaldehyde in tissues. According to the results of the study, these parameters in all samples were within the normal range.

Smoking hurts

"Smoking in bed causes a fire." This simple rule in Russia is included in any brochure on fire safety. At the same time, the fire resistance of bedding is not standardized in any way by the standards in force in the country. Roskachestvo, also for the first time in Russia, introduced such a requirement in its own standard. The study of the ability of products to flammability was carried out in the framework of the so-called "cigarette test". During this test, a lit cigarette was placed on the pillow, the contact lasted 7 seconds. If during this time the fabric did not ignite, the test was considered passed. Nearly all pillows in the study passed this test. Only one sample made in China failed the fire test. The pillow ignited quickly enough to be labeled as a "flammable" product, and therefore did not meet the increased standard of Roskachestvo.

Sleep hygiene

The indicator of hygroscopicity is responsible for the microclimate of sleep, it determines the ability of products to absorb moisture. In the case of pillows, low values for this parameter will lead to the fact that a person will wake up with a wet or damp head, which is unpleasant, unhygienic and even unsafe for health. The indicator of hygroscopicity of top fabrics for pillows, as well as for top fabrics for blankets, was tightened by Roskachestvo by one and a half times. Most of the presented samples, with the exception of one product, met these increased requirements. But unsafe products, whose indicators are below not only the Roskachestvo standard, but also the mandatory indicators of technical regulations, according to the results of independent laboratory tests, experts called goods under trademarks Podushkino, Pierrot, Every day.

Effective area

The dimensions of the pillows and the aspect ratio are not regulated in any way by the current technical regulations. That is, a manufacturer can produce pillows of any size under the only condition: information about the linear dimensions of the product on the labeling of such products must be reliable. Otherwise, consumers will face problems when "packing" the pillow into a pillowcase. Moreover, these difficulties can also arise when the actual size of the product differs from the declared one by only 1-2 centimeters. Manufacturers of the following products incorrectly indicated the dimensions of their products: AlViTek, Belashoff, Comfort Line, Ecotex, Ol-Tex, Podushkino, Pierrot, Every day, IKEA. In some cases, the deviation on one side was 3 centimeters. Obviously, with such a discrepancy, the pillow will “walk” freely in the pillowcase or will not fit in it, which is unlikely to please consumers. All detected facts of non-compliance with the declared sizes are regarded as a violation of the rights of consumers to reliable labeling of goods.

AFTER RE-INVESTIGATION

Pillows from AlViTek Belashoff and IKEA brands, whose actual dimensions, according to the results of a previous study, differed from those indicated in the label, now correspond to the declared dimensions.

100% natural lie

Today, pillow fillers are various natural, artificial and synthetic materials. People sleep on products “stuffed” with latex, buckwheat husks, medicinal herbs, hay and even algae. Recall that pillows filled with synthetic fibers took part in the Roskachestvo study - this is the most popular category of products among Russians. She has many advantages: for example, such pillows are hypoallergenic and relatively cheap. It is worth noting that consumers have recently increasingly paid attention to products that are sold in covers - they are more convenient to wash. These covers, in turn, as well as pillows, have their filler and top fabric. According to the laws in force in Russia, the manufacturer must accurately indicate the composition of all "components" of the product. As a result, a difference from the real composition was found in the products of the following brands: Comfort Line, Ecotex, Green Line, Horizon, TekStil, A "Elite, Sortex, Verossa, Samson. Some of these manufacturers have proven to be particularly resourceful. Yes, branded sample packaging green line“promised” that the filler of the cover would consist of 90% natural fibers, in reality it consisted of 100% polyester fibers. Also made from 100% polyester fibers was the filling of the Horizon pillow, declared as "made from 100% wool." Manufacturer Sortex By marking his product, he reported that the filler of the cover was made of 50% cotton. Reality - 100% polyester fiber. All the indicated facts can be considered as a violation of the rights of consumers to reliable labeling. Information about each identified case of falsification was sent to the relevant control authorities.

AFTER RE-INVESTIGATION

Ecotex pillows, which previously had a discrepancy in labeling not only in terms of declared dimensions, but also in terms of raw material composition textile materials included in the pillow, also corrected.

The vast majority of the studied products had the so-called "fantasy names". Products were called "Linen", "Linen and cotton", "With sheep's wool", "Merino" (breed of sheep), etc. As a rule, "prints" (photo collages and drawings) on such pillows were used with corresponding images and images of plants or animals. In fact, the fillers of all the samples presented in the study were polyester fibers, which have nothing to do with either wool or linen. Roskachestvo recommends that customers carefully study the information on the composition of the product and pay less attention to bright packaging. Although sometimes even the specified composition does not guarantee that the product will actually be made from the "promised" materials.

Ecology of consumption. Business: The production of pillows, mattresses, blankets with natural fillers does not require expensive equipment...

Modern life filled with stress, which, of course, does not have the best effect on human health, in particular, on the quality of sleep. That is why pillows and mattresses with natural vegetable fillers, such as buckwheat and cedar, have become so popular lately.

The production of pillows, mattresses, blankets with natural fillers does not require expensive equipment, large industrial premises, highly qualified personnel. As a rule, it is enough to rent a workshop and a warehouse where raw materials and finished goods will be stored. Production equipment consists mainly of cutting tables (average price 10 - 12 thousand rubles) and sewing machines (price from 5 thousand rubles).

Products are sold in health goods stores, medical equipment stores, orthopedic stores, bed linen stores, furniture stores, as well as in specialized online stores.

Buckwheat pillows and mattresses

Buckwheat husk has the shape of pyramids, inside which there is air, thanks to which the pillow filled with buckwheat husks has good air permeability, maintains a constant temperature for a long time and absorbs excess moisture.

The skin and muscles are massaged during sleep with buckwheat pyramids, this relieves tension, helps to treat headaches.

Pillows and mattresses made of buckwheat easily take the shape of the body, this gives the correct position during sleep, which is also important for healthy rest and prevents the development of various diseases of the spine.

Many also like the natural aroma of buckwheat husks.

The husk is obtained after processing buckwheat. The harvest is brought to the groats, where the pre-steamed grain is separated from the fruit shell in a special drum for separation. The husk retains the shape of a pyramid during separation, and when it dries, it closes. As a result, hollow tiny boxes are obtained, which serve as an excellent filler for pillows and mattresses.

Cleaning the husk consists of four stages. First, straw fragments, sticks and other debris are removed, then calibration takes place, when whole boxes are separated from damaged ones, next buckwheat dust is removed, and finally the husk is steamed to disinfect and give it strength and elasticity.

The purification procedure is long and expensive, but it is necessary to create high-quality raw materials. Untreated husk crumbles and turns to dust during the first months of use.

It is worth buying husks only from reliable manufacturers, after making sure of the quality of the products. How well the husk is cleaned is easy to check: on a white sheet of paper you need to pour a handful of husks, and then carefully remove. If the sheet remains clean and there is no dust, then you have an excellent hypoallergenic material.

Husk for premium class pillows is packaged in packages and bags. The cost of a bag weighing 10 kilograms is 250 rubles. The volume of the bag is 0.1 cubic meters. With bulk purchases, the price per kilogram of husk can be 16-17 rubles per kilogram. The cost of delivery is easy to find out using the calculator on the website of a suitable transport company. Some husk producers offer paid delivery of goods to the regions.

It is very important to choose the right material for the pillowcase. The fabric should be thin, natural and breathable. Very beautiful and durable pillows are obtained from jacquard satin, a thin and soft cotton fabric with a dense weave. Jacquard satin is smooth and shiny, the husks in such a pillowcase spill freely, without clinging to the fibers. The cost of a meter of jacquard satin (width 280 centimeters) - from 500 rubles. Cheaper fabrics are also used: coarse calico, cotton, chintz.

Thus, Cost of materials, used in the manufacture of one pillow measuring 40x50, is about 100 rubles.

The cost of a pillow is also affected by:

  • expensesfor the delivery of material
  • wage employees
  • rent,
  • the cost of utilities.

Pillows made from high-quality raw materials cost from 500 rubles in retail. The price of a buckwheat mattress measuring 100 by 200 centimeters is more than 3,000 rubles.

In addition to mattresses, you can also produce mattress toppers that are cheaper, weigh less and take up very little space.

Various herbs, such as lavender, are added to buckwheat husk pillows, as the smell of natural lavender has a pronounced calming effect. Lavender oil evaporates instantly, so it is not used for the production of pillows, but dried lavender flowers long time retain not only a pleasant smell, but also healing properties.

Production of bamboo pillows and blankets

bamboo fiber- a unique filler for pillows and blankets. This is a material that is softer than cotton, and feels like silk or cashmere to the touch. Bamboo has high antibacterial properties and is well ventilated, so the bamboo bed gives coolness in the heat and perfectly warms in the winter.

The deodorizing effect of the vegetable filler prevents the appearance of unpleasant odors.

Bamboo pillows give a person a feeling of extraordinary comfort and provide good vacation during sleep.

Products made from bamboo fibers can withstand up to 500 washes without losing their shape.

The use of pillows and blankets made of bamboo fibers is recommended for children, the elderly and sick people.

To get fiber the soft core is extracted from the bamboo trunks, from which cellulose is then produced. Cellulose is processed into yarn, and already a valuable material is made from the yarn, which serves as a filler for pillows and blankets.

The fiber production process is 100 percent environmentally friendly, so that all the useful material available in bamboo, including green pectin, which moisturizes and smoothes the skin of the face and neck, as well as tones and cleanses the skin, restoring energy metabolism.

Bamboo fiber is purchased, usually in China. The batch size is not less than 200 kilograms. The cost of a kilogram of fiber from the importer is from 200 rubles. Delivery within the country is made by car or by railway. Shipping cost depends on the weight and volume of the shipment.

store fiber should be in a clean and dry room, as a damp cloth is easy to deform.

Cotton, satin, bamboo, polyester-bamboo blend, etc. are used as fabrics for pillow covers and blankets. Standard pillow sizes are 40x40, 50x50, 50x70, 70x70.

The average cost of a pillow is about 300 rubles. Retail Bamboopillows cost from 600 rubles.

For the production of blankets ordinary sewing machine not enough - need a sewing machine. The cost of such equipment is approximately 150-180 thousand rubles. The use of a quilting machine can automate the sewing of blankets (production from 50 to 200 blankets per shift). The price of a quilting installation is from 600 thousand rubles. The investment will pay off within 6 months. published
