Significant reserves of energy savings are incorporated in the optimal hydraulic balancing of the heating system. Kermi uses a new technology for the automatic control of valve radiators using kv values that are optimally adjusted at the factory to the specific power parameters of the radiators. By varying the kv value, adjusted according to the power of the radiator, a good controllability of the thermostatic valve is ensured over the entire setting range. valve radiator Kermi offers optimal connectivity from below.

Center connection. Absolute advantage during design and installation.

Thanks to the same connection size for all multi-panel types, the choice of radiator type can also be made after the pipes have been laid. The specific installation length and height can also be determined later. In addition, it is possible to carry out a phased (2-stage) installation, which will save time and money. Complete piping and system testing can be carried out without radiators. A clear separation between pipe laying and final installation of the system is possible. Each radiator now needs to be mounted only once - at the very end of the work. This not only minimizes the risks of damage to radiators during construction works, but saves money on advance payments in the construction phase.

Valve fittings Kermi

Kermi radiators are equipped with a valve insert already at the factory, adjusted to their thermal power. With standard valve inserts, it is possible to set 8 basic positions (kv) and 7 intermediate adjustment positions. To ensure the same quality of adjustment over the entire power spectrum, fine adjustment inserts are installed on small radiators.

Factory preset

Factory default kv value is limited to 5 out of 15 possible. The kv factory settings are for conventional heating systems (e.g. single or double family houses) with a differential pressure (Δp) of 100 mbar.

Heating systems in which the radiators are equipped with factory-set thermostatic valves are technically hydraulically balanced in terms of energy rating (e.g. according to DIN V 18599).

Kermi compact profile radiators of the therm-x2 Profil-K series are innovative, energy-saving side-mounted radiators suitable for all modern heating systems. They are universal in compatibility with any energy efficient heat source, whether condensing boilers, pellets, heat pumps, solar collectors or central heating. Radiators are designed for closed systems with forced working circulation, in which the working pressure does not exceed 10 bar, and the heat carrier temperature reaches a maximum of 110 °C.

Type 22 models of the "therm-x2 Profil-K" series have flat design, designed in a special way to maximize the use of combustion heat, and equipped with two heating panels with one row of convective fins. They are available in mounting heights of 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 750 and 900 mm, in the width range from 400 to 3000 mm (except for models with a height of 200 mm - their minimum width starts from 600 mm). The mounting depth of these devices is relatively small and is 100 mm. Heights of 500 and 900 mm exactly match the old ones DIN center distances, which means that such models are best suited for replacement, repair and decoration.

Particular attention should be paid to the new low radiators with a height of 200 mm. This is a special development of "Kermi" for rooms with low window sills and panoramic windows- devices successfully combine convenient small dimensions and high performance.

"therm-x2" radiators (except for 200mm high models) are equipped with the latest patented "x2" technology based on a series piping on the heat carrier. According to this principle, the coolant from the supply pipeline first enters the front panel of the radiator, providing more high temperature its surface and thereby increasing the share of radiation heat transfer up to 100%. Forced circulation reduces warm-up and operation time by 25%. In partial load mode of the system, the front panel power is often sufficient. The rear panel at the same time performs the function of a reflective screen and is connected only when more power is required, contributing to the rapid heating of the room due to its convection properties. As a result, such a temperature difference between the supply and return lines leads to an increase in the energy efficiency of the radiator and a reduction in losses in the distribution and generation of heat. Sequential flow of the coolant through the radiator panels allows not only significant energy savings (up to 11% compared to conventional panel radiators), but also provides high level thermal comfort even in low temperature systems.

Panel radiators are made of sheet steel. The surface is degreased, phosphated, primed with cathodic varnishing using the cataphoretic immersion method. (ETL) and powder coated (EPS). The result is a smooth glossy paintwork that is not only beautiful, but also environmentally friendly. The devices are supplied as standard white color from the Kermi palette (similar to RAL 9016). By individual order, you can choose an option in any color from colors Kermi.

The delivery of radiators "therm-x2 Profil-K type 22" includes: side strips and upper decorative grille, mounting kit with air vent valve (Majewski tap) G ½" and installed plugs G ½". Models with a height of 300-900 mm are additionally equipped with a kit "x2" with a separating plug "therm-x2" (which is placed by the user in the return line) and mounting accessories. They are hung on the wall with the help of pads on the rear side of the radiator (4 pieces in models with a length of 400-1800 mm, 6 pieces in models from 1800 mm). Horizontal and vertical adjustment possible when assembled. Models 200 mm high are supplied without mounting plates and accessories and without the “x2 Inside” insert. Low radiators can be installed on the floor or mounted on the wall. For this, special brackets are provided, which are ordered separately.

For connection to the heating system, on the sides of each radiator there are four branch pipes with internal thread G ½", pipe connections can be made from either side.

The radiators are delivered already assembled in cardboard box packed in a protective film that does not require removal during installation.

An energy saving of 11% arises due to the fact that only the front part works for some time. heating device for 2 kW - two panels of one kilowatt each - the radiator gives off not 2 kilowatts, but 1. The rear part warms up in 15-20 minutes. During this period of time, discomfort is felt, but the very 11 percent of energy savings are obtained.

There are defective systems in which there is no balance, and not enough moving fluid passes through the device. On the thermograms, heating of the panels is observed only in the upper part, which indicates a lack of coolant. If it is not enough for both panels, then the flows are distributed in such a way that at least one is enough. But this method cannot be used. By installing a radiator with local narrowing, we further increase the hydraulics of the system, which leads to a shortage of coolant even for one panel. There is a possibility that if there is some margin for balancing, then the therm X2 principle is somehow implemented and will give us something. If the systems are clamped and there is not enough fluid, then there is nothing to clamp, and again we come to an increase in load. Therefore, the implementation of this technology in well-tuned, properly balanced and assembled systems is impossible, because this technique only works for the first 10-20 minutes after the thermal head has opened the radiator.

If you want to buy Kermi radiators with bottom connection, then you will not be able to refuse to use X2, since it is already built into them.

Therm-x2 technology used in all profile, smooth, hygienic and multi-panel radiators Kermi 12, 20, 22, 30 and 33 types. And it sets completely new standards in the steel panel radiator segment, as it has a number of unique advantages. With the release of Therm-x2 radiators, Kermi makes priority work on optimization and energy efficiency of the heat transfer process: new technologies reduce the heating time of the radiator by up to 25%, the radiation intensity increases up to 100%, while saving energy up to 11%. What is the difference between steel Radiators Kermi And why are they energy efficient?

Why energy-saving radiator Kermi Therm-x2?

The success of Kermi energy-saving radiators is based on the latest patented Therm-x2 principle, which is based on the sequential flow of heat transfer fluid through the radiator panels. If in panel radiators according to the previous technology all panels were heated at the same time, then according to Therm-x2 principles, the coolant from the supply pipeline first enters the front panel. In partial load mode heating system, for example, in the off-season, the power of the front panel is usually enough to warm up the room, and the rear panel performs only the function of a heat shield. And only when more power is required, the rear panel begins to give off heat in full force and, thanks to its convection properties, contributes to the rapid heating of the room. Thus, due to the greater temperature difference between the supply and return pipelines, the energy efficiency of the radiator is increased and losses in heat distribution and generation are reduced.

For the most efficient use of energy. And maximum comfort.

As independent qualified studies have shown, as a result of the energy advantages of heat transfer with the sequential flow of the coolant in Kermi Therm-x2 steel panel radiators, unlike other panel radiators, not only significant energy savings can be achieved, but also maximum thermal comfort is created. Our sense of comfort in a room is highly dependent on the intensity of the heat emitted by the radiator. Even when the thermometer shows the desired temperature, but the radiator practically does not radiate heat, there is no minimal feeling of comfort, the room is subjectively perceived as cold. With Kermi radiators the situation looks different. It has a significantly higher average front panel temperature, which increases the radiation intensity by almost 100% during normal use, ensuring maximum comfort at all times.

The full energy efficiency potential of a Kermi heating system with Therm-x2 technology can only be fully realized if the heat transfer process is involved. In energy-saving Kermi radiators high efficiency sources of thermal energy is preserved at all stages of heat transfer. It is worth noting that with the use of innovative Therm-x2 technology, the total energy savings in heat transfer can reach up to 11%! If you consider that 75% of all household energy is used for heating, there are enormous opportunities for cost savings.

Compared to traditional panel radiators, therm-x2 energy-saving radiators save over 6,000 kilowatt-hours annually in older buildings. They could bake 6,000 pies, shave 15,600 times with an electric razor, wash 6,270 times, and operate a refrigerator for 42 years. If all 14.5 million single and semi-detached houses switched to Kermi Therm-x2 technology, over 9 billion liters of fuel oil could be saved per year! And CO2 emissions are about 24 million tons annually. This high energy saving potential makes Kermi panel radiators the starting point for the development of new heating systems that meet the high demands of tomorrow. For the benefit of man and nature!
