Crafts from plastic bottles swan. Do-it-yourself swan from plastic bottles with video and photos. Creating the look

The swan has always been a symbol of beauty, grace and grace. Make a swan out of plastic bottles with your own hands is easy. Although you need to show perseverance, patience and spend a little time, then beautiful swan from simple used plastic bottles will be a great decoration for a garden or cottage.

This article will present a crafts master class, describe two techniques for making a swan with detailed instructions supported by photos and videos.

Here are some photos of what a swan should look like:

The stage of creating a composition

First, it is important to choose a place in the garden or in the country in which the swan will stand. Such an original bird is used as a tub for flowers or other plants. The name of this craft is a cache-pot swan. Amazingly effective and functional item.

First technique

For crafts, you will need materials such as:

  • Five-liter large plastic bottles;
  • 0.6 millimeters of iron wire;
  • Metal mesh to make bird wings;
  • putty;
  • Putty roller;
  • White bandage;
  • Tassel.

It is necessary to cut the bottle in half, and bend the wire and give it the appearance of the number two, make a hole in the bottle cap and insert the wire. Strengthen the structure with special glue for ceramics, and in order to make the product stronger inside, fill it with stones or broken bricks. Fill the hole with wet sand.

How it works? Under the pressure of the sand, the bottle should become more rounded and take the shape of the body of a bird.

The workplace for working on crafts should be covered with cellophane. At the next stage of work, it is necessary to make a putty solution. To make it easier to sculpt the swan, you need to make the solution thicker. In order to make the bottom of the product, the first layer of putty must be spread directly on the cellophane.

Put the bottle on top of the solution and gently smooth the layers with a spatula.

The next step is to blind the bird's neck. To do this, you need to start coating the wire with putty. Start from the bottom and do it with wet hands.

Similarly, coat the entire bottle with a spatula, a thick layer of two centimeters.

To make the wings of a bird, you need to bend the mesh into the shape of a wing, attach the bottle to the side and press down, fix it with putty. Wait for the solution to set.

When the putty has set, smear the bird's wing with the solution with your hands.

While the wings are drying, you need to coat the bird's neck.

During the working process, wrap with a wet white bandage.

It is required to form the tail of a bird. To do this, bend part of the grid at an angle of 40 degrees and hold it with a solution. Then hold the head and leave the product to dry for 30 minutes.

From the bottom of the tail, make a roundness at the bottom of the tail.

Make the upper part of the tail in several stages.

View of the tail from above.

Side view of the tail.

When the blank for the swan is ready to dry, you need to plaster it, paint it with white paint and varnish it.

A beautiful swan is ready!

Second way

For crafts you will need the following materials:

  • White liter bottles exactly 25 pieces of plastic and one bottle of 500 milliliters;
  • Five-liter transparent bottle;
  • One easy-to-bend plastic bottle, volume five liters;
  • Three meters of thick wire;
  • Women's elastic tights;
  • Sintepon and bottle caps;
  • Fishing line and wire;
  • small pebbles;
  • Red fabric for the beak;
  • Scotch;
  • Buttons for the eyes.

First you need to prepare the bottles. Remove the neck, corks, rings, peel off the labels. Next, you need to cut the bottles, but before cutting, draw clear lines along which to cut.

Cut a half-liter bottle, remove the neck and cork. Make cuts to the cone of the bottle. Make the first cut along the casting seam. Next, make a beak, melt the ends of the clothespins and pin two holes with an awl. With adhesive tape, collect together the two halves of the clothespin. Make the body of a swan from a 5 liter bottle.

Good afternoon everyone! Finally, the cat and I saved up enough bottles to make a second swan. A lot of Ryazhenka was drunk, but we tried ... I really want this MK to be useful to someone. Happy viewing!

So, materials: 1 liter bottles, white - 25 - 30 pieces; half-liter - 1 pc., five-liter - 1 pc. A wire 3 meters long, quite pliable, bends with hands, but not flimsy, keeps its shape. Elastic tights or stockings, preferably stronger. Pieces of synthetic winterizer, isolon, polystyrene, a small piece of thin "obedient" wire, fishing line, ordinary and double-sided tape, a stone - weighty, but to be included in a five-liter bottle, buttons with a "leg" for the eyes, corks from plastic bottles (this material can be replaced, I will explain further). Some other items for the beak. Shown here is a marker cap and a toothbrush handle, but in the course of work, the idea came up to make a beak from a clothespin. More about alternative options let's talk in more detail. You will also need very strong threads, preferably synthetics, which “spring” a little, but do not stretch, the threads are needed thick enough to keep everything firmly. The color of the threads is ideally white, but I have lilac ones, whites of suitable quality were not found, and such ones are more suitable for MK - the stitches are better visible in the photo. The main thing - do not take too dark or bright: they can shine through the plastic. And we will hide all the seams. I do not use glue, we will sew our "goose". Surprised? Try it, it's very easy, anyone can do it. I will "chew" in detail, so that there will be a lot of pictures.

Here, perhaps, everything is clear. I will only clarify that the knife is with a wavy blade (instead of it, it would be better to have a hacksaw for metal, but it didn’t turn up), a needle with a curved tip (if you have one, any large one will do). Scissors - this is very important, since not all scissors can easily cut plastic. For these purposes, I have long served kitchen blades with short blades and NOT filled with plastic. However, others may come up, the main thing is to be comfortable and safe.

We remove the ring from the bottle.

Cut along the marked lines. Pieces 18 -20 bottles, while we leave the rest.

Such are the details.

We make cuts: in the throat part - almost to the thread, into six parts (by eye). We cut the conical part into 8 parts, orienting the first two cuts to the casting seams, this will help to first get two halves, we divide each in half again (I think it’s not difficult even by eye, and pharmaceutical accuracy is not required), then each in half received quarter.

We round off all the corners, pierce paired holes.

Corks are needed for a tight fit of the neck elements. Otherwise, it will look like broken. Instead of corks, you can wrap the wire with isolon or padding polyester, and on top with a strong white thread. If you use corks, then you need to expand the holes in them a little so that the wire folded in half passes. I did it with scissors, I understand, not the most The best way. But I wanted it faster ... You need to prepare 18 - 20 pieces of corks (depending on how long you want the neck)

In order not to be very tired of the previous operations, we can take care of the head. We cut off the cork of a half-liter bottle in any way convenient for you. However, if in the end you choose a beak NOT from a clothespin, then you do not need to cut it off. How to make the first version of the beak (from the cap from the marker), I will show in the near future in a separate MK, otherwise there are so many photos here. It can be found on my blog.

We cut until the transition of the cylindrical part into a cone. The first cut is along the casting seam, then along the previous ones. The pitch is approximately 5 mm.

Here is a clothespin that looked like a beak. The idea was thrown by my husband, who endures all the hardships of everyday life when I plunge into another creative madness ...

We slightly straighten the shape of the future beak ... Just a little bit!

Now lies better.

We pierce a pair of holes at the top and bottom of the future beak. If you prefer glue to threads, then you can not make holes, this is not important here, but I have doubts: will the glue hold firmly on a very smooth surface of the bottle. However, the choice is yours...

On a clothespin, we outline and pierce holes on the head.

We outline the position of the eye. We glue a small piece of 2-sided adhesive tape to the leg of the button, and by the "poke" method we select the correct, in our opinion, position. We mark this position with a marker and cut a hole in the shape of the button leg. The leg should go completely inside the head, and the button itself should remain at the top. We do everything symmetrically for the second eye. We thread a thin wire into one button.

We drag the wire through the head, put on the second button, hide the ends of the wire inside the head and draw the eyes tightly to the head. You will need round-nose pliers or something similar, a little dexterity and patience. Then we twist the ends of the wire so that the eyes do not "dangle". I foresee the question: isn't it easier to stick? Here, in contrast to the beak, the situation is slightly different. A counter question: how will we fasten the head so that it does not slip off the neck if someone pulls on it? That's right, behind the eyes, more precisely, for the wire with which they are connected. If I've made a fool of myself. criticize me, do not be shy.

Here is such a funny face so far.

Well, we got to the neck. We bend the wire in half, we wind it into the head in front, so that the thin wire gets between the ends of the thick wire. In fact, we put the head "on the hook", that is, on the neck. While everything is loose, but removing the head from the neck is not so easy. Unless, to break the buttons ...

Sew on the beak. Of course, this operation can be left at the very end of the work, all others do not depend on it. But I couldn't wait to see what the new beak looked like. We sew each pair of holes 2-3 times. The clothespin ring was removed, the beak was fastened with 2-sided tape. We make the first and last stitch so that the ends of the threads are inside the head.

We tie the ends of the threads with 2-3 knots, pulling the beak well to the head. We cut the threads not very short, we hide them inside the beak. Now the beak is practically not torn off, even if you try very hard. Yes, it can be easier with glue, but I like it to be as strong and reliable as possible. Yes, and I have allergies, smoothly turning into asthma, and all durable types of glue, in my opinion, smell very strongly. Here I am sewing...

We fill the voids in the beak with foam. Trace around with a marker and cut out the desired piece.

Insert firmly.

More voids at the top and bottom of the beak. Let's fill them with isolon. You can make nostrils, but did not want to mess around

Inserting...

To decorate the beak, you need to paste over it with 2-sided tape. I just tried to wrap it - it turned out rough. We'll have to cut out the parts from the tape. Punch paper around the side of the beak ...

We outline the contours, make an allowance for the middle part of the beak, bend the paper, cut out ...

Repeat with top. Next, you need to cut out the details from the adhesive tape. And he sticks to the scissors ... We use a simple trick: (such a mini MK is inside a large one). We keep the protective yellow film every time we use tape, put it somewhere. And now we take a piece of this film, put it on the sticky side of the adhesive tape, on top - a detail, circle it, cut it out. Scissors practically do not stick, even if we cut out the smallest details, their contours are quite clear. Then - as usual: remove the film and glue the part.

The details are ready.

Glue in place while leaving the protective film.

We remove the film when we decorate the beak. Of course, I hurried, I did it right away. But then I had to twist the poor swan in different ways, sewing on feathers, I thought that all my decor would crumble. But no, everything was kept, it seems that the coating is quite resistant. By the way, the first swan stands on the city bridge, in the rain and wind, and his crown is made according to the same principle. The third month has gone, while it shines like new ... But, more to the point.

If what will be shown next does not inspire confidence in you, then here is an alternative: wrap the beak with suitable yarn, you can also varnish or PVA for reliability, but I will risk trying the following:

We pour sequins on paper and thoroughly roll the beak in them from all sides. We press with our fingers, fill in the gaps, if any. Shake off the excess on paper. It is convenient to pour the remaining sequins back if the sheet of paper has been previously folded. We check the strength of the coating with our fingers. Should not spill. (And it won't if the tape is normal).

Now let's take a closer look at the neck. We put a strip of synthetic winterizer in the head, filling it almost to the cuts, then from the free end of the wire we begin to string plugs (or wrap the wire with something, see point 9)

Having put on several plugs, we put on top of them the details of the neck, which were cut out at the very beginning. First, after the corks, it is better to put on just a cut-off neck of a 1-liter bottle, and the second and subsequent - our prepared 6-petal parts. So it will be more convenient for subsequent manipulations.

The photo shows what approximate position these first two details will take. They are needed now to give the head shape. We put a bill elastic band on our heads, prepare a fishing line, about half a meter or a little more, so that it is convenient to tie.

We move the details of the neck a little inside the head, and gently move the elastic to the "hair" so that it covers the concave part of our 6-petal element. In this place it will be necessary to tightly, wrapping several times, tie a fishing line.

This is how it should turn out: the fishing line should be tightened where the thread passes into a cone on the neck of the former bottle. The fishing line is rather slippery, it can easily be untied, so we will make 2 - 3 knots. It is desirable to place the node on top, so to speak, closer to the "back of the head", and not under the "chin". And we don’t cut off the ends of the fishing line yet, then we will sew a crown for them. Add more elements of the neck. Something is already emerging...

We put on as many elements as we consider necessary, I have twenty of them + a neck - the first element (inside each there is a cork!). Now, looking at the finished swan, I would remove a couple of elements, but it’s already impossible to disassemble, so, let’s forgive in advance, especially since for a smooth transition from the neck to the body, three more elements must be added ...

This is how we cut three bottles.

Incisions as in the elements of the neck.

Finished items. Only in the largest it is necessary to slightly shorten the five petals. Unfortunately, the outlined lines are very poorly visible in the photo: I could not choose optimal conditions shooting, and the background changed, and the backlight, the quality is still unimportant. Plastic "glares", either too light or vice versa. In general, it is appropriate, perhaps, to recall the bad dancer (sorry). So, we are adjusting the petals, maybe the next photo will clarify.

This is how it should turn out.

Now the neck is ready. Long, however. But the swan - then we have a fabulous, fantasy, so to speak. So slightly exaggerated elements are acceptable ...

So we got to the "body". We make two holes in a five-liter bottle, the photo shows exactly where. If you make one hole and pass a wire through it (both ends), then the neck will twist and fall. And everything will be stable and strong for us. This is another reason why we bend the wire in half. The first one is fixing the head without glue (forgive me for reminding).

Important work moment. This is our neck from the end. You can clearly see how the wire is bent. It's in order to " cervical vertebrae under their own weight, they did not move down to the hull, but relied on this "fork" made of wire. The distance between the wire "fork teeth" corresponds to the distance between the holes in the housing.

We pass the wire into these holes, then into the same holes in the five-liter cork. Here's another one important point: it is necessary to pierce holes on a screwed cork. And besides, in the "design position", that is, clearly imagining how the wire will pass, where is the top and where is the bottom. Well, it will not be possible to insert exactly the ends of the wire into the holes of the cork big problem. After all, we have already cut a "window" in the back of our goose (poor, long-suffering). In the photo, however, it is almost invisible, except that you can guess from the blurry contours of the neck. The size of the "window" should allow our hand to pass freely in order to direct the ends of the wire clearly into the holes of the cork, and our counterweight should also crawl into it. The bottle is light, and the neck is heavy and high, if you do not load the "tummy", then our goose will "nod".

Regarding the counterweight, I want to say that it is probably better to take a couple of dozen small stones than one large one, like mine. The weight distribution will be more even. And given that the neck can also be lighter than that of my goose, if we use isolon instead of corks, our swan can, in principle, SWIM! This is not a joke, look, all the holes are high enough. There is nowhere for water to get in, there is also nothing to get wet - so it is quite realistic that it will float, especially if you lay your neck on your back (real swans do this). I don’t know about you, but in the summer I’m going to check it out at the dacha. Although it is possible at home in the bathroom ... But it is necessary to ensure and calculate future buoyancy right now, until we have sealed our "window" on the back with tape and pulled pantyhose over the goose. (Oh, horror! Unfortunate bird). Before we do this, let's place a counterweight inside. We bend the ends of the wire in the form of a tail and also isolate them with simple tape.

We put on a stocking ... If you have prepared thin tights or stockings, you can put on two at once. For strength. Yes. This is my favorite word. I do not want those who will get my swan to call me and say that something has fallen off. I came across such a thick stocking, besides, such a dense and large size. I dressed the former goose in a strong nylon net, earlier vegetables in stores were packed in such. Now I don’t see such ones, but in general - they came up very well, only I had to “pull” a little. By the way, our stocking should sit tight, if anything, we need to take it in. And then all the feathers will hang.

We pull on the neck, after placing something to slightly round the sunken "chest". I have an isolon there, it does not get wet and is light. This photo shows the thread I'm using better.

We fix the other end of the stocking on the tail: we bend it and tie it up.

I apologize for the quality of the photo. These are tail feathers. The main thing, it seems clear that they are bent in half and have 4 holes. Do not cut them a lot, it is better to add in place. Any part of the bottle can be used. I have a cone. The size is also up to you. We will sew all the feathers according to the principle: from behind - forward.

We cover all the ends of our tail. I do not stop at cutting each row of feathers. And we will sew them mainly in rows, with rare exceptions. This will significantly speed up our work. Feathers can be given any shape, it was important for me that they were not sharp and prickly. And so the hands are always in cuts and abrasions ... It is clearly seen that the stitches are very sweeping, but more often it does not make sense to make them.

Each next row overlaps part of the previous one. How much - you decide, the main thing is to hide the stitches. And it is best to perform them like this: we introduce a needle (I have it with a curved tip, very convenient), parallel to the edge of a row of feathers. Before us are a couple of holes. We insert the needle from the inside into the second, farthest from the tip of the needle, hole, we come out, now we insert the needle into the first hole (as if stepping back) and immediately along the inside (under the edge of the feathers) we make a large stitch, capturing once - another fabric of tights. And we are already at the next pair of holes (we start again from the farthest from the needle). I'm not a connoisseur of stitch names, but perhaps it's a "needle forward" stitch, or, conversely, a "needle back" stitch? If not, correct me (if you have the patience to finish reading my "chewing gum"). But God knows, I’m not trying for myself ... The tail is a flat part, so you can successfully sew feathers on both sides at once, piercing stretched fabric through
.

The feathers here are quite large and therefore things move quickly. The tail is almost ready, moreover, from two sides at once. Not scary? Well, I promised: anyone can do it! Below in the photo is the final detail of the tail. One of these will be required. Its lower part will go around the cork and hide the peeking out remnants of nylon.

Closer...

This is how we sew.

Now the tail is ready. At least in the back. Move on.

We cut out such feathers from the conical part of the bottle: one row - to girth the base of the tail and a few more single feathers to cover individual peeking pieces of fabric (if any)

Now everything is fine up front.

With such feathers we will sheathe the narrowest place of the body of our goose. They will need about 20 pieces. Yours may be a little different.

That's it, "scales", with a little overhangs to cover all the seams that were still visible. Here it is more convenient for the feathers to lie with the concave side up. From below, you can sew a small solid piece, as in the previous photo. It won't be very visible if something goes wrong...

Preparing feathers for the body. From the side of the bottle we throw out the part on which there is glue residue. Fortunately, on such bottles it is applied with a not very wide strip. In principle, I don’t know how this glue is removed, and I don’t consider it necessary. But if this strip is not removed, dirt will stick to it, and our swan will be dirty in places.

From one side of the bottle, two rows of feathers are obtained.

This is how we will place them. And we begin to sew, of course from the tail, where we finished a row of single feathers.

Like this, line by line. Just like fish scales. Somewhere uneven. In some places, even the seams peek out ... It's okay, because the wings will still be sewn on. And all the little things will hide. And on the way - chest plumage. At the first swan, I didn’t sheathe the stomach at all, because I knew that they would tightly put it on the “belly”, having welded a wire to the metal base, which was also passed across the body. (Anti-vandal reception). And here are the feathers all around. It is clear that the extreme feathers in the row overlap where two sections of the same row join. Therefore, some holes in the rows will have to be made in place. However, to explain longer, it will become clear in the course of work. (I still believe that someone will want to repeat my madness).

Immediately cover the transition from the cylindrical part to the bottom of the bottle. Of course, sewing on so many feathers, cutting a bunch of bottles, you can decide for yourself how best to make such transitions. But the principle is the same: the steeper the "relief", the more single feathers.

Even shorter. And finally, the entire body is lined with feathers. It was not very convenient to sew in the neck area, hanging neck feathers interfered. But that's the cost of production...

Make graceful swans floating on a picturesque lake out of plastic bottles. A palm tree, also made by hand, is reflected in its smooth surface.

The content of the article:

It is not difficult to make a cottage extraordinarily attractive. To do this, it is not necessary to spend a lot of money, it is enough to put empty plastic bottles in bags, and then choose ideas from those proposed and bring them to life. Such work inspires, allows you to make the site well-groomed. Neighbors and guests will certainly pay attention to it, and the owners themselves are pleased to be in such an environment. Start the transformation with a simple job that will allow you to arrange a fabulous corner in your backyard.

Bottled lake or pond

To make the reservoir itself, no special skill is required, depending on its size, you will need 30-250 bottles. First, outline with a shovel the place of the future fabulous pond. Inside its outlines, select the turf. You can put it in a pile, cover it with a dark film, periodically sprinkle it with water and kitchen waste, and you will have a wonderful compost next year.

If you are using a non-virgin piece of land, then simply loosen it with a shovel and, starting from the middle to the edges, lay the blanks. To make them, cut the neck of the plastic bottles to the shoulders, now press the blanks upside down into the ground so that the container peeks out 8 cm above the soil surface. You can use the lower halves of the bottles left over from creating other things for this type of site design. The main thing is that they should not be shorter than 10 cm.

If you are using only the bottom of plastic bottles, then fill it with soil, turn it upside down so that the blanks rise above the ground. Place containers close together to minimize gaps.

After completing several rows of inverted plastic bottles, paint them blue. It is better to do this immediately, because if the lake is large, it is difficult to get into its center. If you do not have numerous containers available, make the lake gradually. The border can be decorated with large stones. To make the pond look picturesque, plant a few plants around the edges.

Decorate the lake with water lilies. How to make such crafts with your own hands was described in one of the previous articles, and from this one you will learn how to make a swan from improvised material. Such a bird looks great not only near the lake, but also in any other corner of the garden.

For this type of creativity, you will need a tire from a car wheel. Paint it white, attach strong wire to the outside with iron staples. It should wrap around the bottom of the tire, then bring it up and bend it in the shape of a swan neck.

Now put a plastic water hose on the wire, if you don’t have one, a piece of watering rubber will do. Slightly cut its upper part on both sides, put the bird's head here. To make it, cut a soft bottle below the shoulders, making the cut curly. Put the blank on the wire, make a beak from a small ketchup bottle. If you do not have one, then cut a triangle out of plastic, glue its two opposite sides. After placing the beak in place, cover it with red paint. You can make a head out of synthetic foam rubber, and take a hose from an old vacuum cleaner for the neck.

Paint the head and neck white, and mark the junction of the beak and face with black, so that the suprafrontal part and the eyes of the bird are clearly visible.

if you have additional time, then, before making a swan, slightly modify the tire. As you can see in the photo, on the one hand there are small cuts on it, on the other - solid, it is made in such a way that the tail remains. The place of the cut is fastened with a bolt with a screw.

Bird with fluffy feathers from plastic bottles

Do-it-yourself swans are elegant if they are beautifully feathered. To do this, you will need white plastic milk bottles.

In the next photo you see how to make wings. For this from metal mesh cut out their base in the form of a triangle with beveled corners. Use plastic milk bottles to make plumage. white color. Cut off the neck and bottom of each. Divide the resulting canvas into 6 parts, also round each of them with scissors. These are feathers. To attach them, use an awl and thin wire. Make punctures in the blanks and tie them to the wire mesh.

Cover it with feathers on both sides. Attach 2 fenders to the tire with self-tapping screws. You can do it differently by pulling the wings together with wire through the tire.

How are graceful birds made from plastic bottles?

Another graceful swan can be made from the following materials. For work you will need:

  • large plastic bottle of rectangular shape;
  • putty;
  • thick wire;
  • bandage;
  • sand.
Lay the plastic bottle horizontally, cut off the wide side. Make a hole in the lid with a soldering iron, insert the edge of the bent wire, as shown in the photo. Sand is poured into the bottle so that the swans, made with their own hands, are stable.

Now thickly grease the entire outer part of the canister with putty. Take the bandage, starting to wrap it around the wire from the bottom up, also generously coat it with this solution. As a result, you will get the neck of a graceful bird. Where the head will be, the bandage will need to be wound even more, layer it with putty. Finish this part of the workpiece.

Let's get to the wings. As in the first case, they will need a large-mesh iron mesh. To attach it, first coat the body of the bird with primer, let it dry, then attach the mesh and fasten it to the sides of the swan with putty.

You can leave the wings as they are, or decorate them on the outside with feathers from plastic milk bottles, and hide the mesh on the back under a layer of putty.

You just have to let the product dry, then paint the eyes and beak of the bird in desired colors. If you want to use the swan as an original flowerpot for giving, then fill the canister with sand only a quarter, and pour fertile soil on top and plant your favorite flower. Or make a second bird. As a result, you will get such beautiful do-it-yourself swans.

How to quickly make snow-white birds from bottles?

If you have some empty containers, and you want to quickly decorate your site, then read how to make a swan quickly and out of a small amount materials. Also it can not only decorate country cottage area, but also to become a beautiful and original flower bed. For this, transparent containers are quite suitable, they need to cut their necks on top of their shoulders.

Outline the shape of the future flower garden on the ground. Fill the bottles with sand or waste soil, such as clay, paint them white. When the paint is dry, dig the bottles about a quarter into the ground according to the marked markings, turning them upside down. To keep them well, fasten them in a circle with a wide adhesive tape in 2-3 layers. It also needs to be covered with white paint.

The head and neck of the swan are made of plywood. First draw this part of the bird on the workpiece, and then cut it out. As shown in the photo, decorate this part with the appropriate paints. Pour fertile soil into a flower bed, plant flowers and you can admire the original creation.

Plastic swans can be made without much hassle. To make the following, you only need:
  • 5 liter canister;
  • milk bottles;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • paints;
  • wire.

Lay the canister horizontally on most of it, cut off the upper sidewall from it, pour it on a third of the wet sand. Insert the wire into the hole made by the soldering iron in the cork, bend it in the form of the neck and head of a bird.

Cut one off the milk bottle. Cut it from the bottom to the shoulders into 6 parts, round the resulting feathers with scissors. Decorate the entire container in this way, and then put the blanks on the bird's neck in turn. Insert its beak into the neck of the last upper one. You can also make it out of plastic or polymer clay.

Now we need a few more milk bottles. Cut 4 feathers from each, stick them on the canister, starting from the bottom, so that the rounded part of the feathers looks up and slightly to the side. After the glue has dried, put the flower pot in the canister. The master class uploads a story on how to make graceful swans out of plastic bottles.

We decorate a country pond-lake with plastic bottles

If we imagine that the lake with swans swimming in it is located on an island, then why not install a palm tree on its shore? It is also made from plastic bottles. It is very interesting to make such products with your own hands. If you do this with your children, they will also grow up to be creative people, able to look at any materials and find craft ideas.

For a palm tree you will need:

  • metal fittings of the required length;
  • brown and green plastic bottles;
  • scissors;
  • candle or lighter.
A palm tree from plastic bottles is made in several ways. Check out one of them first. For such a craft, you need to take bottles of the same volume. It can be a container from 1 to 2.5 liters. If the tree is low, small plastic bottles will do. For a larger one, take a larger container.

First, peel off the labels. If they are glued too high quality, then place them for 40 minutes in hot water, then remove, sometimes helping yourself with a knife.

Now cut off the bottom of the bottles, make the cut zigzag, slightly bend the resulting large notches outward. Stick the rebar in the intended place so that it holds tightly, start stringing the bottles neck down.

This creation technology is suitable if you do not have enough containers. If it is larger, then use only the bottom of the bottle. Drill a hole in each with a drill, and then string it on a metal rod, as shown in the photo. And in the next photo you see how you can make a trunk for a palm tree if you have an unnecessary log and bottoms from brown bottles. They are nailed or attached with screws to a wooden base, but the bottom is left free so that the tree can be dug into the ground.

How to make palm leaves from bottles?

When you decorate the trunk of the southern tree, proceed to its leaves. For them you will need plastic container Green colour. A master class on making palm trees from bottles will describe this process in detail.

There are also many options for obtaining this part of a tropical tree. If you like the idea of wooden base, then you can make leaves in a simple way. To do this, you need large plastic bottles with a pre-cut bottom. Cut them from the bottom to the shoulders, not reaching the neck, into many small ribbons.

Now drive metal rods into the upper part of the wooden palm tree, bend them slightly and string them neck down on each bottle. What you get is also visible in the photo.

And here is another way to make leaves from plastic bottles. A container of any size is suitable for this, you need to cut off the bottom from it and make 4 cuts on large bottles, and 3 cuts on small ones to the shoulders, round them. These are leaf blanks.

Now make a thin fringe along the edges of each sheet. In the center, leave a gap of 1–2 cm - this is the vein of the leaf.

Put a brown bottle without a bottom on top of the barrel with the neck up. On the cover, make 6 holes crosswise with a soldering iron or a drill. Insert one rod or wire through the two holes opposite, through the other two - another rod, and through the third pair of holes - the third wire. Now string the first leaf blank on each rod, then the second, and so on. You should have 6 leaf pieces, each consisting of six bottles. For reliability, fasten them together on the covers with wire.

To prevent the bottles from jumping off the rod, simply bend it on the reverse side. And here is what you get as a result.

The swan craft is often made to decorate the garden, because this bird is very beautiful. For its manufacture use various materials which are usually at hand. Depending on the place of application of the craft, the swan can be made of paper, car tires, plastic bottles and other materials.

Such a craft as a swan can be made of pine cones and chenille wire. Also for its manufacture you will need universal glue, unnecessary discs, a plastic cap, a foam plate, toy eyes.

First you need to make a neck of chenille wire. Put one end of the wire on the glue, inserting bumps between the scales, and bend the other end, giving the swan's neck a characteristic bend.

It remains only to glue the eyes and make a foam beak (make the beak red - many species of swans have red beaks). The swan craft is ready. For the stability of the product, the bird should be fixed on a plastic cap, which will serve as a stand for crafts.

If you want your swan to be white, apply white paint to the craft. You can paint it black - you get a black swan.

Now you should start making the pond. To do this, take a plate of foam and apply blue paint to it. After drying, place a swan in the center of the resulting pond. Also, to make a reservoir, you can use unnecessary disks, decorate them with lace ribbon, then fix your swan in the middle.

This craft will be an excellent souvenir or gift for any occasion - the swan looks very elegant and original. If you want to make a gift to a couple in love, then make two graceful birds, because everyone knows that swans are a symbol of fidelity and devotion.

Crafts for the garden - planter in the form of a swan

One of the most popular types of garden crafts is a swan-shaped planter, as it is not only a decorative element, but also an original flower garden. To make it, you must have:

  • 5-liter plastic bottle (preferably not round, but rectangular - for stability);
  • iron bar 0.6 mm thick;
  • putty or plaster;
  • gauze bandage;
  • spatula;
  • brush;
  • tile adhesive;
  • sand;
  • primer;
  • paint;
  • varnish;
  • iron mesh;
  • sandpaper;
  • polyethylene;
  • water;
  • a container for mixing the solution.

So, you need to cut off the top from the side of the bottle and pour moistened sand into it (then you will replace it with earth, but for now it will be more convenient to make your swan with it). But before that, it is necessary to give the rod the shape of a swan's neck and insert it into the hole made in the bottle cap. Fix the rod with tile adhesive.

Then lay polyethylene, mix the putty solution for making the bottom, which must be applied to it with a spatula.

After applying the layer, put a frame from the bottle on it, continue to apply putty from the bottom along the edges.

Gradually coat the rod and the cork with a putty solution in order to get a smooth transition from the body to the neck of the bird. Level the surface after applying the putty with a brush dipped in water. Try to work quickly so that the putty does not dry out.

Coat the entire structure with a thick layer of mortar.

Make wings using a 15x30 cm iron mesh, bending it a little to look like a wing. Fix the wings with mortar. After they dry, it is necessary to go through the putty from the inside and outside of the wings with your hands.

While the putty dries, roll up a small ball and fix it on the end of the rod, smearing it over the neck with a wet brush. Sculpt a head with a beak from a balloon.

Then take the bandage, cut into pieces, wet. Wrap the entire neck with a wet bandage, pressing down a little with your hands, Do the same near the beak.

Make a tail from a small piece of mesh, bending it at an angle of 45 degrees, and fix it with putty. After drying, smooth out the unevenness with a damp brush. Then apply a layer of the solution again, walking along the tail with wet hands.

Do the same for the head and neck. Coat the edges of the workpiece on the shoulders.

Smooth out any irregularities in the structure with a damp brush. Let dry. After that, clean off the shortcomings with sandpaper and apply a primer, and then paint in two layers. Color the beak and eyes. After drying, lacquer - also apply the varnish in two layers. You can easily make such a craft yourself, and on the street near your country house you will have a handsome swan to the envy of all the neighbors.

Making a swan from modules requires care and a lot of time, because to create a figure, you first need to make a lot of elements. However, the time spent will be quite justified, since the process of making a swan is very exciting, and the result will be long time please you. This type of craft is called modular origami.

Any module is made from a paper rectangle, after which it is connected to another by laying one to one.

Advice! Paper is suitable for color and office paper, but do not use too thin.

To get a module, take a sheet of landscape paper and divide it into 16 or 32 identical parts.

The resulting rectangle must be put in front of you and bent in half lengthwise and across. Tuck the edges to the central part and turn the structure over to the other side.

The bottom corners are wrapped, leaving a small distance between the wrapped corner and the upper triangle. Raise the ends up, fold the triangle.

How to make a graceful paper swan craft with your own hands, you will learn from step by step description.

Assembly of modules

To make paper swan crafts with your own hands, you will need to prepare:

  • red module - 1;
  • pink modules - 136;
  • orange - 90;
  • yellow - 60;
  • green - 78;
  • blue - 39;
  • blue - 36;
  • purple - 19.

First you need to take 3 pink modules and insert into two pockets of one in the corner of the other two.

Next, 2 pink triangles are attached in the same way to the 1st group, so you need to proceed further. As a result, the first ring is ready, which includes the inner and outer rows. Each row has 30 elements. Collect the ring along a chain, the ends of which must be connected with the last element.

Make the 3rd row of 30 orange elements, fixing them in a checkerboard pattern. The 4th and 5th rows are assembled from the same modules.

Now you need to carefully turn the edges of the product up.

Using 30 yellow building blocks, lay out the 6th row, putting them on top.

When mounting the 7th row, wings are made. To do this, you need to choose the side where the head will be. Select one pair of corners from two adjacent structural elements - the neck will be formed on them. After that, to the right and left of the selected pair of corners are mounted on a layer of 12 yellow elements. As a result, in the 7th row - 24 modules and 2 gaps.

13th row - from 12 blue elements, 14th - from 10, 15th - from 8. 16th row includes 6 purple elements, 17th - 4, 18th - 2 elements.

The tail is made of five rows, in each row there is one element less. You will need 12 green modules and 3 blue ones.

The neck is made by inserting two corners of one structural element into two pockets of another.

The red structural element (it will be the beak) is joined by 7 purple, then 6 elements of blue, light blue, green, yellow color. It remains to give the neck the desired shape, and then fix it between the wings of the bird.

The assembly of the structure ends with the preparation of a stand of 36 and 40 elements in the form of two rings, connect them the way you connected the neck.

Advice! If you are worried that the swan will crumble, you can glue your bird in those places that cause concern, and glue the swan itself to the stand.

Your miracle bird is ready to delight guests.

Origami paper swan

You can make a paper swan craft using traditional origami. There are no modules in it, you only need one sheet of paper, and the craft itself will take very little time. Involve your child in this activity, he will surely enjoy mastering the art of origami too.

So the instruction:

  1. Take a paper sheet (it should be square) and fold it diagonally. Walk along the bend in both directions.
  2. Bend the sheet so that the top and bottom corners of the square meet on a straight bend line.
  3. Bend the matching corners 1/3 of the height of the triangle formed.
  4. Turn the workpiece over and bend it in a straight line in the opposite direction
  5. Bend the acute corner of the formed triangle to the wrong side at a point corresponding to approximately 1/3 of the bisector of the resulting triangle.
  6. Craft a bird's beak. The craft is ready.

If it was difficult for you to make a do-it-yourself paper swan using the origami method, in this case, you can watch video tutorials that will help you figure out the sequence of actions. Then you will certainly know how to make paper swan crafts, and it will not be difficult for you to make such a bird.

Making a swan from tires

Crafts such as tire swans are often built to decorate the yard. With old used tires, tools and a little patience, you can create a beautiful swan. By the way, it can serve you as an original flower garden.

So, first you need to prepare an unnecessary tire.

Advice! The more worn out it is, the easier it will be for you to work with it.

Draw in chalk how you will cut the tire, indicating the head, neck, wings. Then cut the tire along the markings, bend the cuts to form wings.

The swan has always been a symbol of beauty, grace and grace. Making a swan out of plastic bottles with your own hands is easy. Although you need to show perseverance, patience and spend a little time, then a beautiful swan made from simple used plastic bottles will be a great decoration for a garden or cottage.

This article will present a master class on crafts, describe two techniques for making a swan with detailed instructions, which are supported by photos and videos.

  • Five-liter large plastic bottles;
  • 0.6 millimeters of iron wire;
  • Metal mesh to make bird wings;
  • putty;
  • Putty roller;
  • White bandage;

  • White liter plastic bottles exactly 25 pieces and one bottle of 500 milliliters;
  • Five-liter transparent bottle;
  • One easy-to-bend plastic bottle, volume five liters;
  • Three meters of thick wire;
  • Women's elastic tights;
  • Sintepon and bottle caps;
  • Fishing line and wire;
  • small pebbles;
  • Red fabric for the beak;
  • Scotch;

Next, you need to assemble the product. Bend a thick wire into two pieces and pass through the wire in the bird's head. Put a synthetic winterizer in the head and string corks alternately with 6-petal parts on the wire.

This is what the neck should look like:

To strengthen the body, you need to pass the neck part of the wire through the bottom of a five-liter bottle and bring it out through the hole in the lid. To stabilize the product, fill the bottle with stones. Make a tail from the ends of the fishing line. Cut and reinforce the feathers with synthetic thread.

The craft of the majestic swan is ready!
