Tire swan, stork, flamingo and goose (Video)

A resident of the Rostov region made a decorative swan, stork, flamingo and goose from a very unusual material - from car tires. It all started with a textbook and a couple of used wheels. Galina Goncharova came up with the idea to deal with unnecessary rubbish for good. Entrance went scissors and nails. Now in her garden you can study the chapter on birds in Biology 6th grade.

Rubber pink flamingo, stork, swan and goose now live in the same territory. One bird used to take a whole day. Now the master is working with tires, which is called "from the wheels." The swan comes to life in a couple of hours. Despite the fact that there is no longer room in the garden for the future woodpecker and owl, crafts are not for sale - Galina Goncharova only gives them. He says the hobby is just for the soul.

"TV - one murder - the same thing. And you will do it and admire it. I didn’t even notice how the winter flew by," explains the needlewoman Galina Goncharova.

After the successful use of tires, Galina Goncharova realized that she could work with everything that came to hand. An example of this is a golden candlestick. It looks very romantic, and it has three bent electrical wires, three corks from vodka bottles and one at the base - a mayonnaise cap. Recently, neighbors often call the master and visit him - they ask him to discover the secret of the goose connection. It is very simple: cameras should be without cables, then it is easier to punch. There are special cameras without cables.

The tallest work in the yard is a family of storks. They are the most useful - they work as speed limit signs. Previously, the fence was constantly knocked down at great speed - the drivers simply did not fit into the turn. But as soon as the storks appeared here, everyone began to slow down in front of the tire masterpieces.

How to make a tire flamingo

Stage 1

You will need 1 tire. Mark the tire with chalk or soap.

Stage 2

Cut out the lower part of the flamingo from the tire, consisting of a neck and a small tail.

Adviсe: I personally used an electric jigsaw with a metal file to cut the tire, but you need to take into account the fact that the tire must be rigidly fixed, otherwise the jigsaw will vibrate and cutting as such will not work.

Stage 3

We make the upper part of the tire a little smaller than the bottom.

Stage 4

We are not in a hurry to connect the two parts of the tire - we make two holes with a drill, for the legs. For the legs of the flamingo, I took two iron rods 65 cm long each.

An idea from Arina, how to do-it-yourself garden figurines from such a simple material as polyurethane foam.
To make a frog you need:

  • polyurethane foam 1 bottle,
  • 1 old saucepan with a diameter of 20-23cm,
  • 1 tin can from under tomato paste, with a volume of approximately 1 liter,
  • for the eyes 2 beads,
  • wire,
  • white oil paint,
  • green color.
1. Fill both containers mounting foam and dry.
2. Fasten the body and head with wire. Hairpins, sticks ... you can use everything. Fix with foam.
3. Insert the wire into the location of the intended legs. Form paws.
4. Apply foam to the paws, very carefully, gradually at intervals to dry.
5. Paint the figurines for the garden with your own hands in desired color. Glue on the eyes.

And I still want to brag! The woman who cleans our house brought me two wooden saw cuts. Maybe, he says, it will come in handy for you, someone threw it away. Of course it will come in handy!!! I thought a little and zababahala from this good Winnie the Pooh!

And what a bear without a beehive with honey. Made hives, and even with bees. Bees from egg containers from kinder surprises (toothpick nose, wings from a plastic bottle). Well, Piglet asked for Winnie the Pooh in the company. They sawed down a tree nearby, and I slowly pulled one log away! Husband sawed and here's Piglet, in person !!! The paws of both Winnie and Piglet were cut out of the remnants of linoleum, painted and slapped with a stapler! In general, such a company turned out !!!

Yes, I forgot to add, I still made a "swan lake"!

Styrofoam Drake by papay10

Well, I finally finished off my duck (more precisely, a drake) !!! Well, I suffered with its manufacture !!! First, the entire cement mass fell off my foam base, then, like ideidetsploshad, I broke off her unfortunate head. And in the end, my little helper broke the poor duck's beak and tail.

But I really wanted to bring the whole thing to mind, and now we began to reanimate this half-corpse. She stuck two long nails into the broken head and planted it on the body. Three smaller nails inserted into the beak and tail. It turned out to be a terrible monster. But it was already difficult to frighten me and I continued!!! divorced cement mortar thinner and smeared the entire structure on top. I waited a little while the solution seized a little.

Then she made the solution quite thick and began to make small lumps out of it and stick them to the workpiece. I paid special attention to the beak and tail, trying to give them a shape. Here I slapped the mortar directly onto the nails. I covered the whole duck and smeared it on top again with a liquid solution.

I covered my work with a plastic bag and left it overnight. In the morning I opened the package and, lo and behold! - nothing fell off!!! I closed the bag again and left it outside for another two days.

Two days later, with fear, she took her duck in her hands. What a joy!!! The concrete hardened and it turned out pretty well (especially for the first time). All that's left is some painting work. Well, it turned out to be easy. Painted with your loved ones acrylic paints with added colors. And today my handsome drake went swimming in my stone lake!!!

Funny turtles on the playground

In the spring, I cut down old trees near the house and decided to make a playground for the children. So it appeared:

Funny fly agaric and swans

Giraffe, zebra, palm trees on which coconuts grow

A couple of funny flower bed turtles

Children love animal figurines, they even come from other streets to see and play near them. Adults approve the idea and are interested in what else we will have on the site. Too many ideas, not enough time. Many thanks to everyone whose ideas were useful in the manufacture of swans, giraffe, zebra.

And our turtle idea is flower beds

flower bed turtle

To make a turtle, you need a tire, a tire protector that is cut into 4 parts, a piece of plastic pipe for the neck, newspapers and scotch tape for the head.

In the tire, cuts are made along the sidewall into which pieces of the tread (paws) are inserted; a small piece of the tread is useful for the tail. Paws and tail are attached with wire staples. A head is formed from newspapers and fastened with adhesive tape to a plastic pipe. The whole structure is inserted into the cut and fastened with self-tapping screws. After coloring, eyes, nose and mouth are drawn. Everything else is your imagination.

Hope they like it. Well, that's all for now.

Here is the turtle! The basin asked for a dump - the bottom burst, and the handles fell off a long time ago. Now, thanks, he's started new life!!! By the way, I cut out the bottom with a grinder (it would be better with a jigsaw, but it suddenly died on me), and then I leveled the edges with a simple knife.

The only pity is that there is not enough time for everything, because. I have to implement all these ideas personally, with the help of one of my girlfriends. But I have already mastered almost all the tools! It remains to learn how to work with a chainsaw. But, as they say, everything is in our hands, right???!!!

"Autumn" sheet of concrete

If anyone decides to make a leaf ... it took 4 kg of cement. Burdock leaf approximately 40 by 50 cm.

Step 1

Pick a leaf of burdock, rhubarb or other plant. Put the sheet in a bucket of water.

Step 2

We cover the table with cellophane, make a hill of wet sand, in the middle we make a mound a little higher to give our sheet depth. Cover our slide with cellophane. Spread the sheet with the veins up, straighten it. If there are holes in the leaf, simply tear off pieces of the leaf from another leaf and cover them.

Step 3

We mix concrete: 3 parts of sand, 1 part of cement, water. The solution should not be liquid, so that it does not drain (do not slide) from the hill. We lay the cement on the sheet. The thickness of the concrete in the middle is 2 cm, with a gradual decrease to 1 cm towards the edges.

Cover with cellophane in case of rain and heat. It is not necessary to close tightly with cellophane, leave slots for ventilation. IMPORTANT!!! Leave the product for 2 days! If it is very hot, I advise you to sprinkle the leaf with water.

When the product dries, carefully turn the sheet over, carefully remove the sheet. If it comes off with difficulty, you can moisten it a little, and it will easily come off. Sweep away debris with a soft brush. I painted it with yacht varnish with the addition of a yellow color scheme. Still not completely dry sheet, I painted over with varnish. When wet concrete and yacht varnish interact, this is such a beautiful result..

Yes, I almost forgot! It is important! Better cutting cut off completely. When you clean, peel off the sheet - a hole is formed. I had to patch up the hole with glue. tiles after inserting the wand.

How to make a swan out of a tire with your own hands - photo tutorial

Unfortunately, I have had these photos for a very long time and I cannot indicate the author of this photo lesson, so if you know where the photo is from, help me find the author.

1. We mark the tire, then with a sharp knife we cut the tire along the lines in the photo (this is quite simple if the knife is sharp) - depending on the tire, it will take you from 10 to 20 minutes.

2. Then we call the husband to break the hardest part of the tire with a chisel or grinder (photo 2) - this will be the head and tail of the "swan" - another 5 minutes.

3. We turn out the tire.

4. If you do in Kindergarten- do not forget to process the head and tail well, because. children can scratch easily

5. We paint the swan, by the way, the "bronze color" swan looks very beautiful.

Tire swan - option 2

To begin with, we take old tires, preferably “bald”, from the “Cossack” or Zhiguli, and draw the cut lines with chalk as in Figure 2.

In order for the head and neck with the breast to sit nicely and keep their shape, we also used an elongated stainless steel plate. They arched it, giving it the shape of the head, neck and breast of a swan, and screwed it to the rubber with inconspicuous small screws. Well the plate and the resulting "cutting" can be seen in the photographs below:

Eyes were cut out of rubber and attached to the swan's head with screws. And after that we covered our swans twice with white water-based paint, only the noses were made red.

We installed the swans in the halves of the covers, painted blue. As if our swans are swimming in a pond!

Flowerbed from an old tire (tire) - master class

Step 1

Mark the cut line with chalk. It is better to choose a "bald" tire.

Step 2

Use a very sharp knife for the first cut. If the tire is soft enough and does not contain steel fibers, there should be no problems. Then smoothly cut along the marked line.

Step 3

When you're done cutting - remove the top

Step 4

Start turning the pot inside out of the tire.

Step 5

Degrease the surface and paint the flowerbed from the tire to your taste

( ArticleToC: enabled=yes )

Crafts from old tires will bring a unique zest to garden design. You can make a heron from tires, flower beds, figurines of animals and birds. They will decorate playgrounds, territories of various institutions and schools. In addition, their manufacture is not expensive and quite simple.

To make a flower garden, you need (all that!) to paint in bright color tires of different sizes, fold them in a slide.

To give the structure strength, self-tapping screws or screwdrivers that fasten the tires along the inner surface will help. After that, earth is poured inside each, having previously covered the tires from the inside with geotextiles. A multi-tiered beautiful flower garden is ready.

A single-tiered flower bed resembling a camomile looks no less beautiful. But the tires for it will have to be cut.

This is not easy to do. Although, having a sharp, strong knife and strength, it is quite real. It is recommended to lubricate the knife blade with grease so that the rubber does not "jam" the metal. It is better to use a grinder or a jigsaw with a solid steel blade and a reverse tooth.

Video: Do-it-yourself flowerbed of tires

Flowerpot on a leg of tires

To make it, one sidewall is cut along the tread, then turned inside out. The work requires physical strength, but the result is worth it.

Another option is a flowerpot with a curly edge. To get the same "petals", they are marked with chalk.

Used to create flower beds and combined methods.

We turn out the tire

The tire is difficult to turn out: stepping on feet inner part, take hold of the edge with their hands, pull it up, trying to make some part turn out. Then, they continue to twist the rest, standing on the already “succumbing” (so that it does not turn back).

When the process is completed, the tire is painted in the selected color.

Made graceful tire heron, flamingo, swan, stork, turtle, owl, elephant, etc. instantly transform the site.

From tires that have worked out their service life, rides for children and even furniture are made. - chairs, armchairs, tables.

Crafts from tires for the playground is, first of all, a frog that children really like. You just need to paint a couple of tires in green color and cut out paws from scraps. Tires from baby carriages and plastic glasses are suitable for the eyes.

What they don’t come up with from tires: donkeys and crocodiles, dragons and bears, giraffes.

The fairy-tale hero dragon is supposed to scare away uninvited guests and pests, but he is so charming that he is unlikely to cope with the task.

The boys will be very pleased with crafts made from tires that have served the allotted time and continued their professional activities in “retirement”: guns, cars, tractors, etc.

Racing car

Multi-seat sports car.

It is good for kindergarten playgrounds

But, the boys will be delighted with the tractor.

Summer cottage furniture

Such children's chairs look cool and cheerful, so they will become a favorite place for kids to relax.

Adults will like chairs with a back and a small table more.

Exquisite tire lamp

It seems to sound very ridiculous. But he's really great!

How to make a stork out of tires

Many people would like to make storks out of tires - guardians of plots and symbols of happiness. In any case, the idea is to the liking of the country dwellers. After all, this bird nests where good people live.

Considered a symbol of tranquility, prosperity and peace, this bird will bring them to the owner. At the same time, he will receive the title of "jack of all trades."

materials

Required for its manufacture:

  • tire;
  • durable and sharp knife;
  • paint (black and white);
  • metal bar;
  • brushwood.

Step by step manufacturing

  1. The first thing to do is to cut the tire into the desired dimensions. So, you need to choose the right tire. Nobody makes a giant stork, so tires from a large SUV are not considered an option. It is quite enough to make a stork out of tires, wheels from a passenger car.
  2. You need to cut the workpiece in such a way that, by folding the pieces, you get the body of a stork. Details are painted in White color, and black "feathers" are made in the upper part. The halves are fastened together with steel wire and pliers.
  3. To make a beak, you need a steel bar, a chisel and a hammer. The rod is cut to the desired size - these are the legs. Now you can bend your head. These two parts are painted with paint that matches the color of the bird.
  4. To make a stork out of tires, confidently standing on its feet, holes are made in the lower abdomen. There are inserted rods, pre-cut. From the brushwood specified in consumables brushwood, make a nest - a dwelling for a bird, which is fixed at the feet of the "owner".

Similarly, you can make a heron from tires using rods for the legs.

Making a swan

The swan is another favorite character made from car tires. If you know the tricks of its manufacture. The swan is graceful and very similar to the original.

While tires are new, they provide motorists with comfort and safety on the road. Having served their time, their lot is recycling or turning into toxic waste. However, with a creative approach, they are turned into real works of art: animal figurines and fairy tale characters, flower beds and even garden furniture.

In the manufacture of figures, the main thing is the correct markup.

It is difficult to cut the tire along the drawn lines, but if you want to get a beautiful sculpture, you need to do it very accurately.

After the wings are cut out, they must be turned out. You can stop there. But many carve feathers out of rubber or use them for plastic bottles that are attached to the grid.

To get the desired bend of the neck, a metal plate is screwed to it with screws, which will not be visible after painting the bird with paint. If the swan is placed on a nest, the figurine is also attached to it with self-tapping screws to give stability. And then the swan turns out, as in the next photo.

For the manufacture of poultry, the “baldest” tire with a nylon cord is chosen, since it is easier to cut it than with a steel cord (breaker). In addition, after cutting, the latter has sticking sharp ends, which are easy to get hurt. If it has a longitudinal pattern - this is another plus. Having found a tire with the appropriate parameters, it is cleaned of contamination - washed and dried.

Instruments:

  • roulette;
  • drill;
  • drill 3 and 10 millimeters;
  • knife with a sharp blade;
  • pliers;
  • grinder and electric jigsaw.

Materials:

  • metal rod (1.2-1.5 meters long);
  • dye.

Tire cutting works are carried out outside the home, therefore, you will have to be patient and wait for a fine day.

markup

In the example given, R13 wheels are used, the width of which is 165 millimeters and the diameter is 180 centimeters. They begin to mark up by drawing two lines that divide the tire in half. This is the future neck of the stork.

  1. Then, the “beak”, “head” and neck are sequentially drawn on the tread part. If the center line on the tread is visible, the markings are greatly simplified. Well, in the absence of such, it will have to be applied with chalk.
  2. The length of the beak drawn from the first line. It is 8-9 cm. Almost half the width - 3-4 cm. For the head, the length and width are 7 and 8 cm, respectively.
  3. The head ends with a neck, which gradually expands towards the body, at the base being 8-10 cm. The marking of this part of the body ends on a line dividing the tire in half.
  4. The tail remains. And it is already partially outlined. This is the fork resulting from cutting out the beak. Having drawn two parallel lines (width of the head) 30 cm long from it at a distance of 8 cm, we have a finished tail.

cutting blanks

It is carried out from the base of the neck towards the head. You can do it in several ways (depending on the material of the tires and their wear). The thinned tire is cut with a shoe knife. To cut a thicker tread, a grinder is used. You can, after making several holes with a grinder, finish cutting using a jigsaw.

Practice has shown that a file with frequent teeth pointing upwards simplifies the process. The operation is carried out at low speed. Another important point- the process of cutting with a jigsaw is not advisable to be carried out first on one side, and then on the other side, since vibration will greatly interfere. It is more correct to conduct it in parallel - in sections of 4-5 cm.

Having finished with cutting, carefully process the edges. In the presence of a metal court, you can’t do without a grinder. For the cultivation of parts made of nylon cord, a knife is enough.

How to give the neck the desired bend

First you need to give the wings a proper span. To do this, the tire is turned inside out.

Having spread its wings, the bird is still lying on the ground, limply lowering its neck. To strengthen it, you need a steel bar. To realize this, paired holes are drilled symmetrically to the center line. Their diameter is 3 mm. Drilling starts from the center of the head with a distance of 15 cm between the pair to the tail.

Used car tires do not need to be thrown away. After using them for their intended purpose, you can use tires to decorate the yard or garden plot. More interesting ideas can be seen in others, but why not try to do the same near your home? After all, the process of making many crafts is very simple.
Giraffe
For this interesting figure, you need to dig one large tire into the ground, up to the middle of the circle. Ahead, fix a high round log with self-tapping screws. On it you need to fix the muzzle - a small frame of a tree. Eyes and ears can be cut from a plastic bottle or a piece of linoleum. It remains only to paint everything in yellow and make brown spots.

Zebra
This figure is made in exactly the same way as a giraffe, only the paint needs white and black.

Elephant
To make one, you need 2 tires of the same size. Fix them together with self-tapping screws and attach to the board (base). An elephant's head is a 10 liter plastic canister, ears - ovals from the same canister. The trunk is a piece of the old corrugated pipe, eyes - canister lids. Eyelashes can be cut from a plastic bottle. It is better to paint the elephant gray, or you can turn it into an orange cartoon character.

bear
This figure is obtained from two tires of different sizes, interconnected. The big tire is the torso, and the small one is the head. To make the design more stable, the tires can be put on a thin metal rod. Ears are cut out of plastic or linoleum. Hardboard can be used to close the circles in the middle of the tires. If desired, the figure can also be cut out of paws from linoleum. After painting, the bear becomes an attractive decorative decoration of the garden.

Matryoshka
Original Russian toy - matryoshka. It can also be made from bus tires. A total of 7 tires are required. Five of them are attached to one another in a horizontal position - this is the torso. For greater fixation, a tall log dug into the ground can be placed inside. A tire is attached vertically to the edge of this log - this is the head, hollow holes are closed with hardboard circles. On the sides you can place hands from a tire cut in half. After that, everything needs to be painted with bright colors and depict a face. It turns out an interesting lady-madame.

Mickey Mouse
You can make two cartoon characters: a boy and a girl. Each character needs 4 tires. Two bearings are laid on the ground in a horizontal position, two tires in the shape of a figure eight are attached to them. The emphasis of the entire structure is on the tree. Mickey Mouse's ears are made from plastic bucket lids, and his arms are made from cut pieces. plastic pipes. Bows, skirt, palms and muzzles must be cut out of linoleum. The lower tires are filled with fertile soil and can be used as mini-flower beds.
After painting, the characters look just great and attractive!

Tire recycling has become an integral part of our lives. Everyone solves this problem in their own way. Tire car for the playground! Many people like this idea.

The kids are just delighted with such crafts, and adults look with admiration. Given that the tires are resistant to negative external influences, this design will please the eye for more than one year.

Parents with small children will need a little time to arrange a playground in the country or on the street and do not need any financial expenses. And the kids will play without distracting their parents from important matters.

You can make crafts for such a site yourself, even if you have never done this before. Ideas and order of work can be peeped on the Internet. More often, plastic bottles and tires are used to make them. There is nothing difficult in manufacturing.

The main thing is desire and a little time.

You will not need to spend money on purchasing expensive materials, since car service workers will be happy to give tires, which usually accumulate a sufficient amount of them. What craftsmen just don’t make from tires: swings, sports equipment, flower beds, etc.

Types of cars

Transport is a constant success among boys, and even modern girls. Therefore, you can start by making a car for children. A tire car for a playground can be of various brands (types) - from very simple to quite complex.

Instructions for making a car from wheels

by the most simple option will dig a steering wheel from a real car and a seat into a square of tires.

The place for the site where the craft will be installed is better to choose a lighted, spacious, located near the house. The best coverage there will be a backfill of sand or a lawn that will have to be cleared of stones and glass in order to protect the kids from injury.

Shop machine

It won't be hard to make it. To do this, having cleaned and painted the board well, it is fixed between tires of the same size. These will be the rear wheels. In the same way, you can do the front. But you can install only one wheel in the center so that the craft resembles a racing car.

The depth of the pits for the wheels of the car should be such that the latter are hidden up to the disk. Then the transport will be stable. After filling them with earth, tamp it well. It is better to dig in tires with disks. But, if they are not there, you can replace it with plywood to give the structure rigidity.

Linoleum is used to simulate the floor, but it can be replaced with plywood. So that the linoleum does not pick up the wind, it is advisable to dig the steering wheel into the ground through it. The tilt of the steering wheel is selected in accordance with the growth of a particular child.

Tire truck

You can make a children's sandbox in the form of a truck.

Seat manufacturing

The seat can be made from one tire or by putting two on top of each other.

In the simplest version, they are limited to mounting on plywood tires. If you want to make it more comfortable, you need a back. You can upholster the seat with something soft - foam rubber, carpet, blanket.

A plastic chair that is not used at home is suitable, wooden seats from chairs, old chairs. Having sawed off the legs, they are fixed, fixing with self-tapping screws.

Details are washed and dried well before painting. After that, a brand new car is painted in the preferred colors.

To give the craft a greater resemblance to the original, headlights are added. They fit jar lids.

And the next model is for the kids of the whole yard, because it allows a big company to go.

What else will help to make it look like a real car?

The doors attached to the craft will undoubtedly make the craft look like a real car. For car play a large number children, make several rows of seats (2-3). If there is an extra tire, make a spare tire, attaching it to the back and writing the number with paint.

The roof to the car, covered with linoleum, in addition to giving a resemblance to a real car, will protect from sunlight and light rain. To fix it, you need wooden blocks, folded in the form of the letter "P". All you need is 3 pieces. Two structures are installed in the rear above the machine (it is better to dig them into the ground), the third is closer to the front. They are connected with bars from above to get a horizontal frame, on which linoleum is fixed with screws or nails from above.

For a racing car, you need to find 5 tires of the same size. A little work of parents and they will turn into a wonderful car that will not leave a child indifferent.

Three tires are enough to make a car, as in the photo below. On it, little racers will not be able to rush through the expanses of the planet, but they will play with pleasure.

For "cool" kids, you can make a motorcycle. The truth will have to be imagined. But happy faces owners of such bikes will be a reward for caring parents.

In our article we will talk about crafts from tires for the garden with your own hands. In the photo in the first part of the article - useful crafts that will make the life of any summer resident more convenient. In the second part, we have collected for you the most bright decorative crafts from tires- flowerpots, swans, hanging pots for ampelous flowers and workshops on their manufacture.

Part I. Useful do-it-yourself tire crafts

Non slip tracks

Number one in our hit parade is tire tracks. Firstly, you no longer have to fight with the grass growing on the paths. Secondly, reliable protectors will not let you slip. Thirdly, with such paths you will not put dirt into the house.

Tire tracks are durable, and it’s not difficult to make them: cut off the treads and use nails (or better, self-tapping screws) to attach them to several transverse sticks.

Reliable steps

Who happened to fall down the stairs, he will appreciate the reliability of the coating on these steps.

Textured border

Tires usually have a pretty nice pattern. It can be used to decorate the lower part of a small utility room. At the same time, you will save the walls from the inevitable dust and dirt.

Before making such crafts from tires it is important to make sure that the length of the protectors with the same pattern is enough to decorate the entire room.

cheap tire seat

Who would have thought, but the tires are convenient to use as garden "ottomans" - however, they are quite solid. Such do-it-yourself tire crafts are easy to make, the only negative is that they are quite heavy and not very convenient to drag.

Convenient bike parking

Do you have a family of avid cyclists? Make a tire bike rack for the whole family. And most importantly, when a new cyclist appears, it will be very easy to expand it.

Part II. DIY decorative crafts from tires

Ground flowerpots

A “chamomile” is cut from the top of the tire, then the tire is turned inside out. It remains to paint it, and the flower container will be ready. If the tire is not removed from the base, you can make a flowerpot with a leg.

The most time-consuming operation is the eversion of the tire. There is a little trick: when you turn the tire about halfway, press on it to make an oval - then the work will become easier.

Combine several tires, experiment with the shape of the petals and coloring, and your crafts - flowerpots from tires - will be different from others.

Tire swans

Swans are a classic tire craft. The technology is about the same. In the photo - instructions for this do-it-yourself garden tire craft.

1. Draw a cutting pattern on the tire.

2. Cut the tire according to the scheme (first the head, then the tail and feathers).

3. Turn out the tire.

4. Make a beak and paint it red.

5. Fold the 2 halves of the head together, insert the beak between them, fasten with self-tapping screws.

6. Raise your head and press it down a little. Fix the formed fold with self-tapping screws.

7. Color the swan, decorate the eyes to close the screws.

Tire cutting options may vary slightly. Choose the one you like more.

Exotic birds from tires

Do you have a garden or vegetable garden and old unnecessary tires? Then you just have to make a cute craft. It will become the pride of your site if you do everything diligently and accurately. No special financial costs are required for this, but the time is needed from a couple of hours to a couple of days.

Complicated tire products

Now let's move on to the consideration of more labor-intensive options for crafts from tires. In fact, they are only slightly more complicated than the previous ones. You will see for yourself when you get acquainted with the master classes.

We make a swan

The manufacture involves cutting, so it is better to take very worn rubber with a longitudinal pattern. The first stage of work is markup. Draw a swan's neck on the tire as shown in the photo. It should take up approximately half the length of the tire. Next, draw the outlines of the head (about 10 cm long) and the beak (slightly shorter). The tail will begin where the beak originates, and therefore will have a forked end. Make it the same width as the neck, and let it be about 30 cm long.

Now it's time to move on to cutting. Depending on the condition and thickness of the rubber, do the work with a shoe knife, grinder or electric jigsaw. Cutting on both sides of the tire is best done in parallel. Having finished cutting, we proceed to turning the workpiece.

The next step is to strengthen the neck and tail. To do this, along these parts, make two holes every 15 cm. In them you will thread metal brackets that will hold a hard rod. After that, the neck and tail need to be given a beautiful bend.

The final stage is painting. You can make yourself either a white or a black swan. Let the beak be red. That's all.

Glamorous flowerpot

Before, we looked at simple flowerpots made from tires for a garden plot. Now turn your attention to a more complex and attractive option. Draw a gigzag line on the tire and cut along it. When finished, turn the tire inside out. The cut off part usually serves as a stand. Now take some paint outdoor works any color and decorate your flowerpot to the end.

Today, people are trying to decorate their yards, summer cottages and gardens from whatever they can. Designers received a lot of ideas that can be safely translated into reality. The use of improvised materials such as bus tires has led to the fact that real hand-made masterpieces are located in the gardens and gardens of the plots.

It is worth noting that crafts for the garden and garden can embellish any area. It can even be a sandbox in the yard, a flower bed, a swing or beds.

For example, to make a flower bed from a car tire, you don’t need to guess too much. A bus tire is simply taken, covered with earth. But it won't be a masterpiece. Now, if you take paints, decorate the tire from the outside, and even better - put three wheels - one on one - then you get a real masterpiece.

If you want to do something unusual, then you can take tires of various diameters. With the largest one, we begin to lay out the rubber from the bottom.

You can even fix an improvised flower bed on a tree. To cover the tire on one side, you can use any material that can withstand the weight of the earth.

Fantasists even came up with two cups that are made of tires and stand on the site. The main bowl is cut out, and the handles can be metal tape.

Another idea is the figures of animals from used car tires. They will give mood to your guests in the garden or in the garden.

The most popular figurine in garden crafts is the swan. To make a bird, you need a tire that does not have a metal cord.

This will make it easier to cut the rubber. We make the markup of our future crafts. We cut the tire with a very sharp knife or hacksaw. To strengthen the swan's neck, use metal rods. At the end we color the bird.

From old car tires you can make a turtle, a zebra and even a horse. To make a beast, you need to dig a bar into the ground along with a tire. In order for the animal to look like itself, it is necessary to give certain colors with paint.

On the suburban area Furniture made from car tires will look great. You can even make comfortable options using various soft linings. Everything that can be useful in this craft is used. If you like to relax in the garden in the evenings, then a few personal chairs that can be placed close to each other are best suited.

There can be no difficulty in making crafts. We fantasize, and it will take you no more than an hour to do everything. It is unnecessary to take thick and rough tires, the reinforcing fiber of which can cause wounds.

Each of us remembers the swing from car tires in the garden from childhood. Pastime then could not do without a swing. And now you can do it with your own hands from old tires. It is worth noting that a swing made of tires will be safest for a child than a swing made of wood or metal. So what do you need to make a tire swing? First, we find a branch that will be strong and will be tilted towards the ground. Secondly, we collect such tools: a knife, a hacksaw, a rope or chains and the tires themselves.

At the end of the rope we make a loop. You need to make sure that the knot is strong. We put the tire vertically. The rope is passed through the wheel, firmly tied above the ground at a height of a meter.

DIY flowerbeds in the garden

The real fun for kids is the tracks and the different paths that can be made out of tires of different sizes. You can make a regular track on the site out of tires. To do this, you need large tires - for example, from a truck. It is only necessary to cut off the part with the tread, and then spread the strips on the site, additionally fixing them to the ground.

DIY crafts - flower beds

D This master class will allow you not only to breathe a second life into old tires, but also to decorate your garden plot. Today we will make flower pots from old tires with our own hands.

So, for work we need:

  • An old tire with a small radial tread, without steel cord;
  • For a collar - a strip of iron;
  • Large sharp knife;
  • Two M8 washers, nut and bolt;
  • Brush and paints;
  • Spanners;
  • Drill diameter 10 and drill.

The process of creating flower pots from old tires with your own hands:

1. We take a large sharp knife and, constantly wetting it with water, make symmetrical cutouts on the tire 2/3 (240 degrees) along the bead ring, as shown in the figure. We cut the protector and side part at a distance of 1/3. In the larger side, using a triangular cutout, we separate the side part.

2. In we get such a cut piece of tire.

3. We turn it out.

4. Cut out the beak from the trim side.

5. Cut the smaller side of the tire lengthwise. The incision should be slightly over size beak.

6. We insert the beak and with the help of a clamp we compress the halves.

7. We drill a hole with a drill and with the help of two washers, a nut and a bolt we tighten the halves of the head.

8. To make the head narrower, cut off part of the tire on both sides. It should turn out like this:

9. On the larger side of the tire, mark with chalk and cut out the tail.

10. This is how our workpiece looks like. It remains to paint it.

11. We make a clamp from a strip of iron, with which we tighten the side parts of the pots. If there is no iron strip at hand, you can use a strong rope.

12. Now let's start painting the parrot. We use blue, yellow, black and white paints.

13. We color the parrot inside and out. We paint the side rings with black paint. If there is no black paint, you can leave them unpainted.

14. We carefully paint the head, trying to achieve maximum similarity with the original. We make black stripes and eyes with a black outline.

15. Do-it-yourself ready-made planters from a tire must be hung with a strong rope or wire to a horizontal structure. And inside you can place a flowerpot with a beautiful plant.

Tire flower bed

A flowerbed from a tire, or maybe more precisely a vase for flowers from a tire, has now become popular, maybe someone will be interested in how to make it, so my master class or a story about how to make a flower bed from a tire.

For the flower bed there was a wheel from the car "Zhiguli"

1. We outline the contours of the “petals” of the vase with chalk, trying, of course, to maintain symmetry:

2. We cut out the petals, from the methods we tested, a knife with water was recognized as the simplest and rather not laborious. Regular knife periodically dipped in water and slowly cut.

3. After all the petals have been cut out:

For this we take old tire- the older it is, the better, since the worn tread is easier to cover with an even layer of paint and give our craft a more natural look.

You will also need paint and a sharp knife, some also use a jigsaw and a grinder to cut rubber - but certain skills are required when using them, and you should also take into account that when heated, the tire may begin to melt.

Before you start cutting out the swan of their tire, you need to draw contours on it, along which you will cut out the details. You can think over your own pattern of a swan, the main flying of which is a neck with a head and wings. We offer you the following scheme, which is relatively simple, but can be further supplemented with decorative details or additional cutouts, slots, jagged edges.

Having made the necessary cuts on the tire, it must be washed well and preferably degreased, and then proceed to painting - then it will last longer and withstand any weather.

After that, you need to bend the wings of the swan, giving them the final shape, you can also cut out the jagged edges of the wings and tail to make your swan very believable.

Also, before painting, it is necessary to fix the neck of the swan and give it the desired bend with the help of a thick wire, which you will mask with paint.

And the final step in making the swan is to paint its head and beak. You can also use other materials, for example, using the attached foam cut out in the shape of a swan's head, you can get a pretty pretty swan, more like a real one.

Well, now your garden, flower garden will be decorated with a wonderful swan. If you have a pond, then undoubtedly the swan will be an excellent addition to the design and decoration of your pond and recreation area near it. And also, of course, a swan from a tire can become an excellent flower bed - for this it is enough to place a flower pot in its center.
