Then we cut the small tires into rectangles - about 5 parts. Next, we fix these parts on the fittings with a screwdriver. We cut one wheel into two parts - this will be the head. We attach eyes, ears and horns, you can make a mouth out of the remains of tires. We color the giraffe with orange paint and draw brown spots. The giraffe is ready. Due to the armature, the giraffe's neck tilts and rises, so it looks like it is alive. The kids love to sit on it.

ZEBRA.

A zebra is made from a tire, a stick (neck, head) and caps (eyes, nose). Painted with white paint, and stripes are made in black.

How to make an elephant out of bottles?

1. In the figure you see a schematic representation of the process of making crafts. For the body, take an ordinary plastic bottle, for the legs of the animal - two more (cut them to the desired length). The trunk consists of a curved wire with bottle caps strung on it (you will need 6 caps with holes pre-drilled in them).

2. Pour the cereal (preferably rice) into the bottles that will serve as the legs for about ¼ of its length (the craft should not be too heavy). Attach the legs to the body with tape. The trunk is easier to attach: screw the last cork to the neck of the base bottle.

3. Paste this entire structure with thin gray paper. Can be used corrugated paper or plain foil. The tail of an elephant is made in this way: glue the wire over the paper, and make a brush from the threads and tie it to the tip of the tail. The rest of the details (ears, tusks, fingers) are made of foam rubber in two colors: gray and pink. If you do not have such material, you can take ordinary foam rubber and sheathe it with a colored cloth. Eyes are best taken "running", plastic.

How to make an elephant with your own hands?

1. The frame of this elephant is made in the same way as the first one, only for the body five 1.5-liter bottles are glued together, for the legs - four 2-liter bottles, for the ears and head - a cut 5-liter bottle. As for the trunk and tail of the animal, they are made of crumpled (twisted into bundles) paper, pasted over with tape. When all the parts are connected into a single whole, the frame of the craft should be pasted over with a bandage soaked in a plaster solution.

2. Cut out the eyes of an elephant from a brown plastic bottle and glue in place with a bandage.

3. Form a smiling mouth from the scraps of the bandage.

4. You can paint the craft with any paint that you have available. Shiny silver spray paint looks good. You can also use acrylic mixed with pva glue in equal proportions.



5. Tint the mouth and eyes with acrylics of the appropriate colors.

6. Using paint or outline, apply a patterned pattern in a contrasting color to the elephant's body.

7. Add eyelashes.

8. You can make a butterfly craft out of plastic bottles and put it on the trunk of an elephant. To do this, cut out the wings of the appropriate shape, fasten them together with adhesive tape, and then wrap the butterfly with a bandage or paste over papier-mâché, dry it and paint it in bright "tropical" colors.

With the help of a few improvised materials, you can easily decorate the yard of a private house and the territory adjacent to it with your own hands. So, now the production of decorative figurines from household waste is gaining popularity - plastic bottles, tires and many other items that have served their purpose. For example, there are several ways to make an elephant.




For the manufacture of such a figurine (Fig. 1, 2, 3), it is necessary to prepare the following materials:

  • 2 eggplants with a volume of 5 liters;
  • a piece of a bicycle chamber;
  • 4 plastic bottles of 0.5 liters;
  • dye;
  • plastic eyes;
  • sand;
  • copper wire;
  • 15 cm packing tape.




The whole process of making figurines is easy to do with your own hands, you can involve children in the work. Small bottles should be filled with sand - this will give them stability. It is enough to pour 1/3 of the volume and twist tightly (Fig. 4).


From five-liter plastic bottles, ears and a torso will be made. So, two side parts should be cut off from the first - they will become the ears of the future garden sculpture(Fig. 5). You can sew pink inserts for the ears from pink fabric - this way the elephant will be more realistic.


Remove all labels from the second eggplant and remove any remaining glue - this will allow the paint to be applied evenly. No handle or lid needed. On one side, four identical holes must be made for half-liter plastic bottles (Fig. 6).


On the reverse side of the eggplant, holes should be made for the ears and the workpieces should be fixed in them (Fig. 7).

At the bottom of a large bottle (body), you need to make a small slot and insert the packaging tape there. The edge of the tape should be cut a little - so it will look more like a ponytail (Fig. 8).


Insert a piece of a bicycle tube into the neck of the eggplant - ¼ part will be enough. If the neck is wider than the chamber, you can seal it with ordinary rubber bands (Fig. 9). Instead of a camera, you can use the remains of an old watering can - its spout just repeats the shape of the trunk.


At this stage, you can begin to fix plastic bottles with the body of an elephant. Holes can also be sealed with rubber bands or rags. Thus, the legs of the animal will be obtained (Fig. 10). If desired, you can sew all the details together with your own hands, using copper wire for this - this way the design will be more durable.


Now you need to paint the resulting figure and wait until it dries completely (Fig. 11).


The eyes of an elephant can be borrowed from any old plush toy or bought at a needlework store, and the eyelashes and mouth can be finished with contrasting paints. Plastic bottle figurine is ready!


Old tires provide a lot of space for creativity - they can become the basis for many bizarre figures. So, with your own hands you can make a cute elephant out of a tire.

To create such a figurine you need:

  • 2 tires;
  • screws;
  • shoe and regular knives;
  • dye;
  • rubber from a car chamber.

Cutting tires is very easy, you can do it yourself. Using a shoe knife, it is necessary to cut out the tusks of an elephant from the lower tire, as shown in the figure (Fig. 12). Instructions for ripping a tire open: with a knife, it is necessary to carry out the same cut several times, carefully pressing on the bead so that it expands. After that, you can insert a regular knife into the cut and continue cutting the tire in the desired direction.


The first tire is dug into the ground to the maximum possible depth - it must be stable. Two thin strips up to 25 cm long are cut in the front part - these will be tusks.

You can give the structure greater strength if you attach the tread part of the tire to the top tire, tapering towards the end - it will imitate the tail of an elephant. It can be screwed on with screws.

An elephant's head and trunk are cut out of the second tire. If desired, you can not cut out the trunk, but use the spout of a plastic watering can instead. From pieces of the old camera, you can cut out the eyes and ears of the craft. All parts can be sewn together or fastened with copper wire.


You can also make such a cute elephant (Fig. 13). For its manufacture, one tire is enough - all the cut parts must be sewn together with a thin wire. Using paint, you can draw the animal's eyes.

Small multi-colored elastic bands are now very popular in needlework - they are suitable both for creating bracelets and various figures.

To create such an elephant (Fig. 14), you need to prepare:

  • a set of rubber bands of the same color;
  • hook for weaving;
  • weaving machine.


Work should begin with the manufacture of the trunk - for this you will need up to 30 rubber bands. You can weave such an elephant with your own hands, but this will require patience and a little preparation.


The trunk can be woven on a hook, creating one loop after another from doubled rubber bands. The remaining parts of the body are woven using a special machine - the head is fixed between several hooks and more and more elastic bands are alternately woven into the toy.
