3. Construction of a single complex of fire alarm, warning and evacuation of people based on the control device.

In accordance with paragraph 1.1.3.PPB 01.93, at each facility, the safety of people in case of fire must be ensured. Because the “object” means the whole variety of enterprises, buildings, structures, premises, as well as the territory, open area, vehicle and even technological process, the features of the "object" should be taken into account in the evacuation plan. In order to implement evacuation plans, the SOUE should be designed (clause 3.2. NPB 104-03). But the SOUE cannot be designed in isolation, i.e. "in isolation" from other systems deployed at the facility (both related to fire safety and not related to it). All these systems are combined into a single complex. Combining the connections of individual systems will be shown in the Block diagram of the complex built on the basis of the control device and coordinating the operation of the entire complex.

Rice. 1 Block diagram of a single complex based on a control device.

Figure 1 shows a block diagram of a single signaling and warning complex. In strict accordance with General requirements» NPB 104-03 "Systems for warning and managing the evacuation of people in case of fires in buildings and structures" and NPB 88-2001, combined into a single complex:

a fire alarm system that performs the task of detecting a fire and issuing a command pulse to turn on the fire alarm system, generated by an automatic fire alarm and fire extinguishing installation,

    civil defense warning system,

    emergency lighting system

light warning system, including evacuation safety signs,

access control system with remote door opening of additional emergency exits,

a sound warning system for giving sound signals and broadcasting texts: a) specially designed texts of speech information (recorded phonograms) and b) direct broadcasting of texts of voice messages and control commands through a microphone (i.e. "from voice")

    building broadcasting network,

    external source of sound programs.

These systems themselves are independent and are not interconnected, even if they are included in the SOUE. To join independent systems into a single fire alarm system, warning and evacuation of people needed special devicecontrol device . It is to solve this problem that a unique device was created: control device "TRAMBON - PU-4".

5. Control device "TROMBONE - PU-4". Its compliance with the NPB classification. Specifications, appearance and switching.

Control device for technical means of warning and evacuation "Trombone - PU-4;" designed to combine fire alarm systems, providing the issuance of a command pulse to turn on the SOUE, civil defense warning systems, with SOUE. But the SOUE, in turn, must engage and manage evacuation lighting system, light, sound and voice warning systems and access control system to create a unified complex of fire warning and evacuation management.

The control device receives command pulses generated by an automatic fire alarm and fire extinguishing installation, and turns on the SOUE. Further, having processed command impulses, the device issues commands and signals to the sound and voice warning system, access control system, evacuation lighting system and light warning system (activation of evacuation safety signs).

The device is designed and manufactured in accordance with the general technical requirements NPB 77-98 and SMLG specifications. 437256.002 TU. However, being the basis for the SOUE, it takes into account all the norms and provisions of NPB 104-03 that establish the requirements for the SOUE, which is approved in the Technical Specifications for the "TROMBONE WARNING AND EVACUATION CONTROL SYSTEM" TU 4371-004-49903593-02

Let us dwell in more detail on the methods of notification and the order of notification implemented in the control device "TROMBONE - PU-4".

5.1 Notification methods.

"TROMBONE - PU-4" provides notification methods:

    sound,

  • light.

Sound. With the help of built-in: a sound detector, a loudspeaker, a siren generator, a special line for alerting personnel.

Speech. When broadcasting texts (phonograms) recorded in the memory of the built-in digital tape recorder.

Light. When evacuation safety signs are turned on.

5.2 Sequence of notification.

The order of notification is implemented in the device by choosing the algorithm of its operation. Let's list these algorithms.

The airbag defines the inclusion of two or more warning lines. Can choose 1st algorithm - "two lines": when upon receipt of a command pulse to turn on the SOUE, generated by an automatic fire alarm and fire extinguishing installation (triggering of a sensor on one floor), two warning lines are triggered - on the same floor and on the top. If necessary, you can choose 2nd algorithm: "two or more lines". In this case, upon receipt of a command pulse to turn on the SOUE, generated by an automatic fire alarm and fire extinguishing installation (triggering of a sensor on one floor), more than two warning lines are triggered - on the same floor and on each upper one (there may be three).

Moreover, the device has 3rd algorithm - "only in one room (part of the building)". With this algorithm, upon receipt of a command pulse (triggering of a sensor on one floor), one warning line is triggered - on the same floor or this part of the building.

The control device "TROMBONE - PU-4" implements independent activation of each warning line. The lines of evacuation safety signs are switched on regardless of the voice warning zones (light indicators will turn on immediately after the fire sensor is triggered), and the voice message (in case of a false alarm) can be turned off by the operator. The lines of evacuation safety signs and voice warnings are switched on independently of each other in accordance with the operation algorithm installed in the device.

The specified order of notification is implemented in the control device "TROMBONE-PU4" as follows.

In accordance with clause 3.27 of NPB 104-03: "The control of the fire control system must be carried out from the fire control room or other special room that meets the requirements set forth in the fire safety regulations approved in the prescribed manner."

Attention designers. The requirements are set out in NPB 88-2001 and SNiP 2.04.09-84.

A sound emitter is built into the body of the control device "TROMBONE - PU-4", which begins to emit sound signal(monotone intermittent sound of the buzzer) immediately upon arrival of the command pulse. The power and sound pressure of the sound are sufficient to attract the attention of the operator in a medium-sized room. The built-in buzzer of the control unit first of all notifies service staff, and then, according to a given algorithm, SOUE notifies people in dangerous areas.

Attention. Here, the word “attendants” means professional security personnel or on-duty personnel located in a special room of the control room, along with automatic fire alarm installation devices and a control device for the SOUE, who have instructions that determine their actions when they receive alarms.

A special order of notification must be carried out in schools and other children's institutions. In NPB 104-03, in Chapter 5 “Determining the types of warning systems and managing the evacuation of people in case of fire for buildings and structures for various purposes”, in a note to clause 7 of Table 2, it is defined: “The school is notified first staff, then the students.

Attention. Here, the word "staff" refers to the staff of the school, i.e. not professional security guards or duty officers who are in a special room with instructions that determine their actions when they receive alarms, but adult school employees - the director, teachers, administration workers.

The main premises where the staff is located in the school are the director's office, the offices of his deputies (employees of the administration), and the teacher's room. For the initial notification of personnel in the control device "TROMBONE - PU-4" is formed dedicated voice alert line. It turns on immediately upon activation of the fire detector, and activates sound fire detectors (sirens, buzzers), which can be installed in the rooms and offices of the school staff. These detectors inform the personnel with a characteristic sound. They cannot give a verbal message about the beginning and evacuation routes. The voice message will be broadcast to the network only after the delay time has elapsed. If none of the staff has turned off the alarm, then after some time (delay time) the students will be notified by a voice message. Ways to organize a special line of sound notification for school personnel (see below).

Ensuring the given order of notification in the control device "TROMBONE - PU-4" is ensured by choosing various algorithms for its operation, the priority of notification of the service personnel and the possibility of forming a special line of sound notification.

The order of notification implies not only the presence of a time interval between the signals broadcast to different zones, but also its value (delay time). Depending on the characteristics of the building or structure, it (delay time) may be different. The control device provides the possibility of changing the delay time from 30 seconds to 4 minutes. For more details, see paragraph 8.1.7 "the possibility of adjusting the notification algorithm"

Attention . The control device "TROMBONE - PU-4" in its capabilities belongs to the 3rd group, according to the classification of NPB 77-98. However, it is possible to significantly expand the number of buildings and structures where it could be used through the use of the 4th group in warning systems. The fact is that the difference between the 3rd group and the 4th according to NPB 77-98 is determined by the need"communications of the warning zone with the control room". When using any type of autonomous intercoms, with the help of which it is possible to organize the connection of each of the four zones with the control room, the warning system based on the TROMBONE - PU-4 device will be classified into the 4th group.

Attention designers . How to organize feedback warning zones with the control room, see "Selector device".

The control device "TROMBONE-PU-4" is a product in a metal case that can be used both in desktop version, and for installation in a 19” rack RACK. Height 3 U.

6. Control device "TROMBONE - PU-4" as the base of the fire alarm complex and SOUE. Compatibility with other systems.

As an integral part and base of the fire alarm complex, warning and evacuation of people, the control device must interact with:

automatic fire alarm system (see point 6.1),

evacuation lighting system (see clause 6.2),

a system for switching on evacuation safety signs (see clause 6.3),

access control system with remote opening of doors of additional evacuation exits (see clause 6.4),

radio broadcast system (see clause 6.5),

civil defense warning system (see paragraph 6.6),

sound warning system, as part of the SOUE (see chapter 7).

6.1 Automatic fire alarm systems.

Center automatic installation fire alarm system is a control and security fire control device (PPKOP). It is he who receives signals from fire detectors and generates command pulses for other systems. Today on the security market there is a wide range of devices, both domestic and imported. The vast majority of them have outputs:

    open collector

    relay outputs.

The control device "TROMBONE-PU-4" is designed as follows: when the loop connected to the input of the device is closed, the notification algorithm is launched.

Attention: It is strictly forbidden to use the signal from the loops at the control panel input as control signals.

Therefore, the control device "TROMBONE - PU-4" is compatible with any control panel having relay outputs or outputs of the "open collector" type. From specific models we list:

  • ACCORD 512

The construction of warning systems based on the control device "TROMBONE - PU-4" is possible on the basis of almost all known control panels.

Designer's taskconsists in switching the outputs of the automatic fire alarm installation with the alarm inputs of the control device.

Switching diagrams and relay contacts are given in chapter 8 point 8.2.6.

6.2 Escape lighting systems.

The construction of an evacuation lighting system largely depends on the specifics of the facility. Types must be defined lighting fixtures, their number, supply voltage and backup power sources. When designing an evacuation lighting system, all this equipment must be integrated into an independent and autonomous network.

According to NPB 104-03, paragraph 3.1 states: "Alert and evacuation control ... must be carried out ... by turning on evacuation lighting." For the implementation of this inclusion in the control device "TROMBONE - PU-4" a relay is provided (the terminals of which are displayed on the rear panel). This relay is activated immediately upon the arrival of a command pulse generated by the fire alarm system.

Designer's taskconsists in switching the power supply circuit of the evacuation lighting system with a relay in the control device.

Switching diagrams and relay contacts are given in chapter 8 point 8.2.1.

6.3 Systems for triggering evacuation safety signs.

The construction of a system for switching on evacuation safety signs depends on the choice of technical means of warning (light evacuation safety signs). In NPB 77-98, in paragraph 8.2, the main characteristics of light annunciators are given. After selecting the type of annunciator and their number, the voltage of their supply and backup power sources are determined. When designing an evacuation lighting system, all this equipment must be combined into an independent autonomous network.

According to NPB 104-03, paragraph 3.1 states: "The warning and management of evacuation ... must be carried out ... by the inclusion of evacuation safety signs." But light annunciators should not be constantly on, like evacuation lighting lamps. They should blink. In NPB 77-98, paragraph 8.2 defines: "A flashing light alarm must have a flashing frequency in the range of values from 0.5 to 5 Hz."

To enable the light annunciators and their flashing, the TROMBONE - PU-4 control device has 4 relays (one for each zone). The terminals of these relays are displayed on the rear panel. They are triggered immediately upon the arrival of a command pulse from an automatic fire alarm installation. However, when triggered, these relays do not “stick”, but operate in the “closing-opening” mode with a frequency of about 1 Hz. This mode of operation of all four relays allows flashing light evacuation signs in any zone.

Designer's taskconsists in switching the power circuit of each zone of the system for switching on evacuation safety signs with the relay contacts of the corresponding zone in the control device. Switching diagrams and relay contacts are given in chapter 8 point 8.2.4.
