BelAZ dump trucks: Belarusian giants. The largest Belaz in the world The largest Belaz

Belarusian Automobile Plant, producing wide range of machines necessary for the performance of work by enterprises of the mining and processing industries, is one of the best among the world's manufacturers of quarry equipment. To date, no enterprise in the world can boast such a wide range of mining dump trucks as BelAZ has. And just six months ago, on September 25, 2013, a presentation of a new 450-ton giant dump truck BelAZ 75710 was held at a test site specially prepared for these purposes.

In January 2014, a record was set, thanks to which the plant in Belarus should once again be in the Guinness Book of Records - the novelty moved across the territory allocated for testing with a load of 503.5 tons! This event completely changed the situation on the world market, because BelAZ, having released the most big dump truck in the world, left not far, but still behind its main competitors - Liebherr, Caterpillar and Terex. Well, the plant, which is the pride of the former USSR, once again proved that the special equipment it produces fully complies with the latest requirements and trends emerging in the mining industry, and the designers do not intend to stop there.

Construction of new workshops, occupying an area of about 30 thousand square meters. meters, and an active increase in the rate of production, which is carried out during recent years, will allow in the near future to increase the production capacity of the enterprise. The management of the plant plans to deploy almost 700 new machines and technological installations specialized purpose. The developed development program is being successfully implemented, thanks to which the plant, which has won almost a third of the world market for mining dump trucks, is one of the seven largest manufacturers with a worldwide reputation.

The new BelAZ 75710 continued the line of mining dump trucks of the Belarusian manufacturer

Of course, the largest BelAZ 75710 will become an important milestone in the history of the plant, which has more than half a century. Indeed, since 1958, when the first 25-ton sample of the MAZ-525 dump truck was assembled in its workshops under license, the enterprise has produced more than 120 thousand special equipment vehicles that are successfully operated throughout the post-Soviet space, and are also exported to many countries of the world. Some models are unique, having only a couple of similar copies released by other manufacturers.

Novelties of the Belarusian automobile industry were not long in coming. With a difference of several years, 40-ton and then 75-ton samples were created. In the 70s, the carrying capacity of BelAZ trucks increased significantly - the new base dump trucks were already 110 tons. In the late 70s, the plant in Zhodino opened a new direction for itself, starting to produce airfield tractors capable of towing 100-ton aircraft. 1982 was marked by the appearance of a 170-ton BelAZ-75211 dump truck, and in 1990, another brainchild of Belarusian car builders with a carrying capacity of 280 tons amazed everyone. No one produced such giants on the territory of the USSR.

Despite the collapse of the USSR in the early nineties and a significant reduction in production volumes, the main machine-building enterprise of Belarus continued to produce the entire line of mining dump trucks, both small (from 30 tons) and high payload (up to 220 tons). In addition, the plant expanded the boundaries of its production by launching the production of machines for road construction, loaders, bulldozers, etc. The range of equipment that left the factory conveyor was constantly replenished with new products and improved, as well as improved production technologies.

First in its class. The only one in the world.

And so, a grandiose event was timed to coincide with the 65th anniversary of the native plant. A crowd of admiring spectators was presented with a one-of-a-kind specimen - a BelAZ 75710 dump truck with impressive technical characteristics and truly enormous capabilities. The main purpose of this Belarusian giant is the transportation of loosened rock mass, both in the territories of deep quarries and in those areas where the development of mineral deposits is carried out. open way. The operating conditions of the equipment do not matter: dump trucks of this class cope with the most difficult tasks, both in 50° frost and in 50° heat, since all conditions for comfortable work have been created for the operator.

Among mining dump trucks of especially high carrying capacity, BelAZ, capable of carrying 450 tons of cargo, is so far the only one. The 400-tonic Terex MT 6300AC, created several years ago, lost the palm to him. By the way, even earlier, the BelAZ 75601 dump truck model, designed to perform complex work in quarries, with a carrying capacity of 360 tons, competed with the "lighter" models Terex MT 5500 (326 tons), Caterpillar 797B (380 tons) and Liebherr T282B (363 tons).

If it’s hard to imagine how huge this masterpiece of Belarusian car builders is, then just think that this model is equivalent to three hundred Ford Focus cars, 37 double-decker buses or 2.5 blue whales - the largest animals that, according to scientists, have ever lived on Earth . BelAZ 75710 is three times larger than the largest passenger aircraft Airbus A380.

Fully loaded equipment weighs no less than 810 tons! At the same time, its dimensions exceed 20 meters in length, almost 10 meters in width, and about 8 meters in height. With regard to the turning diameter of this vehicle, then this figure is about 20 meters.

Impressive capabilities require appropriate technical equipment

Naturally, the production process of this heavy truck was not without the use of the latest developments and innovative solutions. The two-axle all-wheel drive truck is powered by a Siemens electric traction drive. The system consists of four traction electric motors with a power of 1200 kW and two traction generators. The main difference between the new model and previous generations is the presence of 8 wheels with Michelin tubeless tires, and the load on each of them is about 100 tons.

It was thanks to the new original drive that it was possible to achieve the optimal dynamic distribution of tractive force along the axes of the equipment. The designers also provided for the possibility of the dump truck operating in the so-called "emergency mode". This means that if one of the drives turns out to be faulty, then the equipment will be able to get to the repair facility on its own.

The largest BelAZ in the world is powered by two 16-cylinder diesel engines. Their total power is huge - 8500 hp. Dump truck transmission - electromechanical. The maximum speed that this giant is able to develop reaches 64 km / h (of course, not at full load).

The fuel consumption of BelAZ 75710, according to available data, is impressive - about 300 liters in just an hour of operation. Fuel tank capacity - 4360 liters. Having carried out simple calculations, we get the following result - a fully fueled dump truck can work up to 14 hours.

The body of this dump truck is a welded structure made of high-alloy steel of heavy-duty quality. Its volume is designed for 6484 cubic meters of cargo. The cabin of this vehicle is designed for two people. During its development, the designers took into account all applicable standards regarding the requirements for noise, vibration and concentration of dust and harmful substances inside the cab. According to benchmarks, the noise level is no higher than 80 dB, and the overall vibration level does not exceed 115 dB. Additional options that simplify the work of the operator include a dead zone monitoring system, the presence of an air conditioner, an alarm that is triggered when a dump truck approaches high-voltage transmission lines, modern system firefighting. The cab complies with the accepted ROPS safety system.

A mining dump truck of this class is in demand in the quarries of Kuzbass, Chile and North America. The price of BelAZ 75710, like its size, is huge - about 1,200,000 Euros. By the way, due to the growing demand for such machines from the mining industry, the management of the plant in Zhodino plans to produce up to 1000 copies per year.

Photo of a giant mining truck

In September 2013, a rather interesting event happened: the Guinness record was broken in the category "the largest car in the world." Moreover, the BelAZ known to all our compatriots became the record holder. There is hardly a person who has not heard about this truck. Most of the boys at least once in their lives dreamed of riding this monster. And now BelAZ has received the title of the largest truck. In the near future, BelAZ-75710 will be included in the heading "the world's largest car" of the Guinness Book of Records. OJSC "Belarusian Automobile Plant" is the only one in the CIS and one of the largest manufacturers of quarry and mining equipment in the world. The company manufactures a lifting capacity of 30-450 tons, equipment for production cycles in quarries, bulldozers, machines designed for underground work, airfield tractors, as well as loaders. Let's take a closer look at what kind of car it is.

The presentation of the new one took place on September 25, 2013. At the test site, the guests were shown a new model BelAZ-75710. The carrying capacity of this vehicle was 450 tons, which exceeds the capabilities of the closest competitors - Swiss and BelAZ-75601 - by 90 tons. Until recently, these trucks shared the championship - they were the largest cars in the world (the photo below will help the reader make up his mind about such monsters of the automotive industry).

The car has total mass 810 tons. The energy source is two power units (diesels) with a total capacity of 8500 liters. with. This truck has some pretty cool stuff. engineering solution- the torque from diesels is not transmitted directly to the wheels of the car, but is transmitted to the electric motors that rotate the wheels. So the new BelAZ is consistent. It is equipped with a combined hydraulic system: for steering, braking system and tipping mechanism of the body. in the world has eight wheels, which are “shod” in Michelin radial tubeless pneumatic tires. The maximum speed of a mining truck is 64 km/h, which, given the weight of the vehicle, is quite acceptable.

It is noteworthy that the world's largest car has a list of equipment that car drivers will envy. The record-breaking truck is equipped with air conditioning, an adjustable driver's seat, dead zone monitoring systems, fire extinguishing systems, alarms about the approach of a dump truck to high-voltage power lines, and so on. The car meets the requirements of the standard for the level of vibration, noise, dust content of the air, as well as the concentration of harmful substances.

Summing up, we note that the world's largest machine is designed to transport rock masses in very difficult mining and technical conditions of open pit mining, on dirt roads, in different climatic conditions at air temperatures from -50 to +50 degrees Celsius.

The largest BelAZ in the world - BelAZ-75710 breaks records not only in terms of dimensions and own weight, but also in terms of carrying capacity. The latest tests at the test site have shown that the heavyweight can handle loads of over 500 tons, which is beyond the power of the earlier predecessors of the car, produced by the Belarusian Automobile Plant and even the Swiss counterpart from the Liebherr concern. The peak 503.5 tons transported by a mining truck, coupled with a dead weight of about 360 tons, made it possible to set a new record for the Guinness Book, thus preventing American car builders from trying to register the maximum 470 tons of cargo.

Interesting facts about BelaAZ-75710, specifications

The car was released a relatively long time ago (by the standards of rapidly developing technologies) - in 2013, it went into operation the following year and still retains its leadership achievement. With the declared initial figures of a carrying capacity of 450 tons, the developers did not stop there and allowed the auto giant to get the nickname "BelAZ 500 tons", photos of this miracle monster are presented below.

To date, only three vehicles have been produced, one of them without a body. All designed to work on site Russian Federation. The main task of a mining dump truck, judging by the name, is to work in coal mines, where one of the samples works. The almost exorbitant cost of one such giant - about 10 billion dollars, does not yet allow the popularization of special equipment.

Many are interested in BelAZ-75710 fuel consumption, which is as huge as the car itself - 1300 liters per hundred kilometers, which is less cost-effective than using, for example, KAMAZ dump trucks for transportation. As comparative figures, we present the KAMAZ-65201 model with a fairly high carrying capacity - 35 tons, and fuel consumption of summer time about 37 liters, in winter - about 40. When transporting luggage over the same distance (conditionally 100 km), KAMAZ will spend a maximum of 572 liters in winter, even less in summer, while BelAZ-75710 with a fuel consumption of 1300 liters is almost three times more. And if we add to the obtained value the amount of engine oil (about 540 liters) and almost 900 liters of coolant, then the “mere mortal” will absolutely not afford the maintenance of such a giant.

Plus, maneuverability and its cross-country ability are several times higher than the Belarusian giant. However, the latter is not small. Such a colossus can turn around on a fairly limited patch with a radius of about 20 meters and even climb uphill with a slope of no more than 18%, which is a great achievement for such a solid mass. Plus, a photo of BelAZ 500 tons and its characteristics below illustrate the ability to transport huge monolithic structures and structures, which no other car can boast of.

To others technical specifications the largest BelAZ in the world, model 75710, should be attributed to:

  • Two diesel engines, the power of each of which is over 1.7 thousand kW and more than 2.3 thousand horsepower;
  • Four motor-wheels Siemens, the power of each is 1.2 thousand kW;
  • Traction generator power - 1.7 thousand kW;
  • Two tanks for fuel, the total volume of which is 5600 l;
  • Maximum speed without load 67 km/h;
  • Weight - 360 tons;
  • Dimensions: H - 8.1, W - 9.8, D - 20.5 m;
  • Wheels - 44.00-63 / 50, weighing 5.3 thousand kg each.

If the BelAZ body of 500 tons is completely covered with earth, then the resulting area will be enough to build a house on it with an adjacent personal plot, and if you take out the “heart” of the colossus from the engine compartment, then the whole family can easily accommodate and settle down in the resulting void! Such features allow BelAZ to remain the largest car on the planet.

Let's start with the fact that today it is simply impossible to create mining equipment with such a high carrying capacity without the use of an electric transmission: the loads are too high, the torques transmitted from the engine to the wheels are quite high.

170-ton BelAZ-75211 was the main show-stopper of the grandiose Soviet exhibition AVTOPROM-84

That is why the current record holder has a similar transmission. Especially for the automotive giant, Siemens has developed an original MMT500 AC traction electric drive (TED) system. This system includes four 1200 kW traction motors, two traction generators, three blowers, a brake resistor ventilation unit and a control cabinet with two ELFA inverters.

The project was implemented in a relatively short time: it took less than two years to develop from the moment of order to commissioning. The new car was presented by the BelAZ plant at the end of 2013.

The “smallest” Zhodino dump truck with electric transmission, BelAZ-7555, has a payload capacity of 55 tons.

The BelAZ-75710 dump truck is the first model in a new class with a particularly large load capacity (450 tons). The total mass of the giant reaches 810 tons. The dump truck is over 20 meters long, about 10 meters wide and over 8 meters high. The turning circle is about 20 meters. As a power plant, two MTU DD 16V4000 diesel engines of 1715 kW each are involved. The maximum speed of the machine can be up to 64 km/h. BelAZ-75710 is in demand in the mining industry and for work in coal fields.

450-ton BelAZ-75710 - the flagship of the world mining flotilla and the world's most load-bearing dump truck

For the first time, BelAZ began to create mining dump trucks with electric transmission in the mid-1960s. So in February 1966, the Scientific and Technical Council of the USSR Ministry of the Automotive Industry considered and approved technical projects A 65-ton BelAZ-549 dump truck and a BelAZ-549V-5275 road train with a payload capacity of 110–120 tons created on its basis. Already next year, the production of components necessary for the creation of prototypes began.

From the memoirs of the plant workers: “Since 1965, the department of the chief designer has been purposefully developing documentation for a BelAZ-549 dump truck with an electric transmission with a carrying capacity of 75 tons. The nature of the creation of the dump truck was significantly different from the development of machines with hydromechanical transmission.

The first prototype BelAZ-549 was equipped with an electromechanical transmission, an M-300 diesel engine with an 850 horsepower. with. Leningrad plant "Zvezda", traction generator direct current GPA-600 with a power of 630 kW and an inflatable block of braking resistors.

The 75-ton BelAZ-549 became the first dump truck from Zhodino to use electric transmission. The engineering marvel of the 1970s

Laboratory and road tests of a prototype in 1969 were carried out at the plant. At the same time, the development of documentation was completed and a prototype of the BelAZ-549V-5275 road train with rear unloading of the 6x4 wheel arrangement with a load capacity of 120 tons was manufactured.

A traction DC generator was installed on the tractor, but with a higher power - 800 kW, traction motors of the same power 360 kW, but four pieces: two on the rear wheels of the tractor and two for the wheels of the semi-trailer.

It should be noted that a 1200-horsepower gas turbine was used as a power plant on BelAZ-549V-5275. Thanks to it, it was possible to significantly reduce the weight, simplify the design, reduce labor intensity Maintenance machines, provide complete combustion fuel and thereby eliminate the need for complex exhaust gas converters. However, the use of gas turbines was constrained by their higher fuel consumption than diesel engines.

The modern 130-ton BelAZ-75131 is one of the most popular models factory

Perhaps for this reason, the next coal-carrying train BelAZ-7420-9590 was a truck tractor based on the 75-ton BelAZ-549 with a semi-trailer with a capacity of 107 m3 and bottom unloading. The semi-trailer, like the tractor, was equipped with electric motor-wheels borrowed from the tractor. At the same time, the Belazovites will once again try to equip their dump truck with a gas turbine. It will be in 1975. BelAZ-549G with a carrying capacity of 75 tons with a gas turbine engine with a capacity of 1100 liters will become a test subject. with. Further, the plant began to systematically increase the production of both serial and experimental mining dump trucks with an especially large payload capacity, equipped with an electric transmission. So, in 1977, the plant assembled the first two experimental BelAZ-7519 dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 110 tons. This model subsequently gave way to such mass-produced vehicles as BelAZ-7512 and BelAZ-75145 with a carrying capacity of 120 tons. By the way, the latter in 2001 was noted among the best goods of the Republic of Belarus sold in the Russian Federation.

"Intermediate" 110-ton segment BelAZ "blocked" in 1989 with model 7519

The year 1979 was marked by the production of a prototype BelAZ-7521 dump truck with a 12ChN21/21 engine with a load capacity of 180 tons. Four years later, in 1983, the enterprise will start its mass production (BelAZ-75221, capacity of 170 tons). In 1984, at the anniversary exhibition of the Soviet automobile industry, the dump truck will become a real highlight of the exposition.

1990 was the year of birth of the unique mining dump truck BelAZ-75501 with a carrying capacity of 280 tons. The dump truck had an articulated frame, twin wheels of the front axle, of course, an electric transmission, and with motor-wheels on each "spark". A diesel engine from the Kolomna Diesel Locomotive Plant and a traction alternator were transversely installed on the dump truck.

130-ton coal version with increased platform

However, the BelAZ-7530 serial vehicles (1992) finally overcome the 200-ton milestone. These are fourth generation dump trucks with latest systems electronic control, regulation and diagnostics. In addition, for reasons of competitiveness, foreign-made diesel engines will be used on custom-made machines.

Today, the modernized heavy trucks of the 7530 family “take” 220 tons and are perhaps the most massive dump trucks in the world in their payload segment.

BelAZ-7530D with a carrying capacity of 225 tons. An experiment with a new form of lightweight platform

The plant does not stop there. In 2005, by order of OAO Kuzbassrazrezugol, an experimental mining dump truck BelAZ-75600 with a carrying capacity of 320 tons was manufactured. The machine is equipped with a 3500 hp diesel engine. with. and AC electric transmission on 55/80R63 tires.

The 320-ton BelAZ-75600 appeared in 2005 and at that time was the flagship of the plant

Naturally, if BelAZ had not created all this in the past, a new supergiant would hardly have turned out now.

The 280-ton BelAZ-75501, built in 1990, became the heaviest BelAZ built during the existence of the USSR

I quite often have to photograph cars from below: the chassis, transmission elements and other things that are invisible from above. As a rule, for this you need to use a lift, otherwise you won’t get under the car. But I just had to walk under the car and click the shutter for the first time. As, however, and climb the stairs to the level of the second floor to get into the cab of the dump truck. Yes, the dimensions are impressive, and the design is even more so: BELAZ is very different from everything else that can travel on the ground. I propose to consider it in detail from bottom to top and evaluate the scale of this car.

We need it - let's do it!

At the sight of BELAZ-75710, the question immediately arises: why? Why do we need such a huge dump truck, which, it seems, is not enough for a football field to turn around? Maybe it's easier to carry cargo on two smaller trucks (for example, on BELAZ-7530 trucks with a carrying capacity of 200-220 tons) instead of one monster capable of carrying 450 tons at a time? No, just like that, such a dump truck could not appear, its creators do not suffer from megalomania, but want to satisfy the needs of customers. And if one of the holding's clients wanted to get such a machine for a quarry in the Kemerovo region, then they need to build it. In 2013, the first BELAZ-75710 was born. We will talk about how such BELAZ trucks are made later, this process is almost as interesting as the finished product. In the meantime, let's shock you a little with the numbers. So, turn on your imagination.

The height of BELAZ-75710 is 8.17 meters (this is more than the height of the second floor typical house), width - 9.75 meters (the LiAZ-677 lunar rover bus is only 78 centimeters long), length - 20.6 meters (this is almost two 677s). The carrying capacity, as I said, is 450 tons, but in 2014, during the tests, this dump truck transported a little more than five hundred tons of cargo. The curb weight of the car is also impressive - 360 tons, respectively, the gross weight can reach 810 tons.

Despite its huge dimensions, the language does not dare to call this colossus clumsy: the turning radius is only 45 meters. The maximum torque is 9,313 Nm. But MTU diesels are needed here not to turn the gearbox shaft, but to generate electricity - BELAZ does not have a gearbox at all, but traction electric motors drive the dump truck. So the world's largest dump truck is a hybrid one. We quietly go under the car and see how it all works.

02. Maximum speed: 64 km/h

What progress has been made!

To be honest, being under BELAZ is not very comfortable, you feel like Gulliver in the land of giants. A person, even not the smallest, seems fragile and somehow very unreliable compared to a career giant. But timidity is aside, and we consider the car from below.

No one fought for millimeters of space in the engine compartment. Two huge MTU Detroit Diesel 16V4000 diesel engines are located transversely. The power of each is 1,715 kW, which is almost 2,332 liters. with. (or 4,664 in total). It would seem - ride and do not know grief, but no, this is not enough. These two motors with a working volume of 65 liters each are needed to ensure the operation of the generators that generate current for the traction motors. In addition to generators, diesels also power hydraulic systems.

03. Turning radius: 45 m

Each diesel engine is paired with its own generator, and all systems that ensure the operation of the engines are independent for each unit. Sometimes you can hear that, they say, without a load, this BELAZ runs on only one engine to save fuel, and the second diesel engine comes into operation only when necessary. This is not true. Purely theoretically, such a scheme is possible, but it has not yet been implemented by the plant. I say "for now" because it is still in the plans.

Alternators generate alternating current for four electric motors installed inside the wheel hubs. A bundle of two generators and four engines is called a traction unit, but its manufacturer is not BELAZ, but Siemens (its corresponding brand is Siemens MMT500). Each of the electric motors has a power output of 1,200 kW (1,630 hp), so the total power at the wheels reaches 6,520 hp. with. It's good that I don't have to pay tax for a car with such an engine!

Such a transmission is called electromechanical. In addition to all of the above, it includes a power control cabinet (we will see it on deck) and a UVTR braking unit. By the way, the brakes deserve a couple of separate words.

The brake mechanisms of all wheels are double-disk and have a hydraulic drive. But a loaded car weighing more than eight hundred tons cannot be held by such brakes alone, so BELAZ has one more braking system - an electrodynamic one. Here executive mechanism is the same wheel electric motor. During operation of this braking system, a huge amount of heat is generated, which must be somehow removed, therefore, the design provides for forced air cooling of the braking resistors.

Tires:
59/80R63 Bridgestone

05

Of course, there is also a parking brake. It's a regular disc.

As I have already said, the electromechanical transmission for BELAZ-75710 is made by Siemens. But now negotiations are underway with the Russian Power Machines LLC, so it is likely that in the future the transmission will come from St. Petersburg, as on machines with a carrying capacity of 90-220 tons. But back to inspection.

BELAZ is standardly equipped with wheel chocks, which are attached in front of the front wheels.

In the basic configuration, there are also starting heaters, of which there are also two - according to the number of diesel engines.

A part of the fire protection is also visible from below.

First of all, it reacts to an increase in temperature in the engine compartments, but the sensors are also located inside the wheels, next to the traction motors.

BELAZ has two fuel tanks of 2,500 liters each. Specific consumption fuel - 198 g / kWh.

To service the fuel system, there are even separate ladders leading to the tanks - they can be seen from the side. No matter how fantastic this dump truck is, it is necessary to change filters and refuel it periodically, and there is nothing to do here without a ladder.

One of the most interesting mechanisms is, perhaps, the undercarriage of the dump truck. Strictly speaking, it is dependent pneumohydraulic with a built-in hydraulic shock absorber.

Thanks to stabilizers roll stability the dump truck almost does not heel under load, while maintaining a high ride smoothness. Inside the giant shock absorbers seen in the photographs are nitrogen and oil.

And only the most attentive will notice one more feature: the front and rear axles absolutely the same. The question arises: how does this colossus turn? There are no pins, no ball bearings ... Yes, because both bridges on BELAZ-75710 are steerable. Two cylinders here play the role of a kind of steering rods (exaggerated, of course, but understandable), but otherwise the steering is almost traditional, hydrostatic, with a conventional steering column in the cockpit. By the way, the design provides for the presence of pneumohydroaccumulators - these are the safety requirements.

It is impossible not to say a couple of kind words about the tires of this dump truck. The tire size is 59/80R63. Now its main supplier is Bridgestone. For lighter cars, the choice of manufacturer is not so clear, although it is also very limited. Actually, the engineers of the Belarusian holding can build an even crazier car, everything is limited just by tires and ... common sense, I guess. In general, God forbid to overboard these wheels once again, so the developers tried to make traction motors in such a way that their repair and maintenance are possible without removing the wheels. This is very important, especially for those who will operate these dump trucks. It is impossible to remove a wheel without a crane, and each such simple one costs a lot of money.

Now let's go up to the deck - that's what they call the platform on the "second floor" next to the driver's cab (the driver, by the way, is called the operator here, although this does not change the essence of the matter).

Total power on wheels: 6,520 hp with.

Higher and higher and higher!

Of course, I had to climb a ladder into the cab of the truck. But like this, so that two spans and a platform between them - this, of course, is the first time.

Strange, but it is here, on the steps, that the dimensions are most felt. On the site we walk along eight round elements, which from a distance can be mistaken for headlights closed with some kind of plugs.

They are actually air filters.

After passing along them, we climb the second flight and find ourselves on the deck.
A metal cabinet, oddly enough, is called a cabinet - a power control cabinet. The "brain" of electrics is hidden here, its most important part - the electromechanical transmission.

To the left of the cabinet is the already mentioned system of forced air cooling of the braking resistors.

Directly behind the cab are parts of the combined hydraulic system (steering, braking system and tipping mechanism).
