Mysticism began about a week before my departure, the day after my small move to another room. Left once again in the room alone, I heard the fall of some object in the bathroom. Entering it, I found a comb lying on the floor. Picking it up, out of the corner of my eye I noticed a reflection in the mirror: in front of me was a wounded man with a bandage on his head and without an arm. Frightened by him, I flew out of the bathroom and turned off the light in it. Fortunately, there were no other mirrors in the room. I lay down on the bed and began to hang in the book, afraid to take my eyes off it and look into the corridor. Later I still had to do this, but I did not find anything unusual in that part of the apartment. Then I attributed everything to my imagination and little communication with others.

Remember how in childhood we were scared by horror stories about a brownie or a lamb? How naively we believed in these fairy tales, and immediately became obedient goodies, if only this “night guest” did not come to our souls. Of course, with age, this all goes away, but I'm afraid that the story that happened to me relatively recently will change all our ideas about these fabulous creatures.

It was a long time ago, many years have passed, but one memory makes me feel warm. I rented this apartment for only 2 months, then I moved out, and a year later the owner called me and again offered to rent, to which I agreed and at the end of August I moved there to live.

The apartment was two-room, one room was locked, things of the owners were stored there, the apartment was rented out by the sister of the owners. Rented housing inexpensively at the price of a one-room apartment. Everything suited me, work, shops, the market - everything was close. But the most important thing is the atmosphere, the energy of the apartment. There was a feeling that when you enter the house, you find yourself in some kind of magical world, a feeling of warmth, home comfort, that you are welcome and loved here.

There are times when it feels like something otherworldly is nearby. Here is what I have.

Late one evening we were in the parents' room and decided to go to bed. As usual, they said good night to each other and were about to go to bed. But the “quiet” night had to be postponed when I saw a strange white silhouette in the corridor with the same white cloak. He ran (or flew) through front door and disappeared. Later, I began to notice that when you pass the toilet, the light is on, you come back to turn it off, it is not on, you go inside - no one. This means that this brownie is playing with the light, and then we are surprised how much we have to pay for the light.

Not one cat has taken root in our house for many years. Females of the feline - please, live and nothing, but the male is not in any! For several years in a row, we tried to get a cat, because the cat collects grooms in the yard and there is nowhere to put the kittens, and hands do not rise to drown or drive out to the mercy of fate.

I thought for a long time whether or not to write this terrible mysticism, which my mother was destined to see, who survived the war, hunger and cold, poverty and devastation, the early death of her brothers, father and the difficult post-war period, like thousands of people in those years. Maybe all these trials hardened my mother's physical and mental health. She lived a long life, and until the last she remained in her right mind and good memory. Of course, there is no reason to doubt its veracity, as well as mine, which writes this story.

This mysticism is from the sixties of the last century, then my mother was not even 30 years old. In those distant years they lived on about. Sakhalin, where I was born.
