Choosing the best vape tank Top Atomizers Serviced Single Coil Atomizers New Reviews

Hi all. Another review on the subject of electronic cigarettes. I still spend 200-300 rubles per month on liquid (taking into account the tight puff), and I think it's just great, such a savings compared to analogues ... What has happened and changed in the electronic cigarette market lately? The trend is now tanks with an upper air intake, but at the same time the air passes through the entire tank and blows the spiral from below, or from the side, changing the trajectory. And I think that such a design fully justifies itself, firstly, there will be no leaks, and secondly, there is a full-fledged lower airflow, which will positively affect the taste. An example of such tanks: Horus RTA, Solomon 2, OBS Engine 2. The Intake atomizer was released by Augvape, together with the famous reviewer Mike Vapes, the tank was a success, but I still had questions.

To start, some useful information:
1. reviewer Mike Vapes. As far as I understand, he had a hand in the design, constructive, and the Chinese guys from Augvape implemented all this and started selling. They seem to be running out of ideas.
2. The tank is available in four colors.

Additional Information

3. Made of stainless steel, there is a pot-bellied glass in the kit, with it the volume of the tank will be 4.2 ml of liquid, with flat glass: 2.5 ml.
4. Diameter: 24mm, Height: 50.5mm. Airflow adjustment: top, one spiral.

Let's move on to the review, let's see what Mike Vapes has prepared for us :)

Design / structure of the atomizer:

The atomizer comes in a thick, cardboard tube, like all the latest devices from Augvape. There is brief information on the box (links to social networks, contact address, etc.)

In the kit we will find: a spare flat glass (2.5 ml), o-rings, a dense lining for the top cover, a triple screwdriver, 2 screws for fixing the coil, a spare 810 drip-tip and an adapter for 510 drip-tip.

Weighs 57 grams without winding and liquid:

The tank has an 810 drip-tip fit, with a low acrylic drip-tip preinstalled.

Optionally, you can put a spare, but I did not like it.

You can also install an adapter and use any 510s, or pick up your 810s without an adapter. There is complete freedom of choice. But the stock low drip tip is quite good.

Next comes the top cover, which has no thread. There are convenient slots for gripping, slightly move it counterclockwise and it is removed. Under the lid there is a tight pad so that air does not enter the tank itself, that is, it is completely sealed.

If at first everything is fine, then on the second and third refueling you notice that the liquid then got on the lining, and the lid moves without much effort, slides. This is perhaps the only negative of the tank. The lid is very weak.

Under the lid, everything is standard, there are 2 filling holes. The filling area is flat, and you need to fill the atomizer carefully, as there are no sides.
There are 2 air intake holes below. There is a blower adjustment ring with a stopper, it has knurling for easy tightening adjustment.

The ring moves too freely because the o-ring is too thin underneath. The problem is solved, just select the o-ring a little thicker. And the ring has grooves, it won’t be possible to put it on somehow differently, for example, upside down.
You can change the cotton wool or spiral without pouring out the liquid, just turn it over and unscrew the base.

The glass is easy to remove, and there is no such thing that it sticks to the o-rings, no, it is removed immediately.

On the dome there is an application "Intake". Changing glass:

There is a flat processing inside and it immediately becomes clear how the air passes, and it passes through two holes into which special tubes enter on the base itself.

At the same time, this entire platform is spinning in a circle, for the possibility of combining with the base.
The bottom pin is not adjustable. The positive pin sticks out normally, you can use it and wind it on the mechanics.

This is what the base looks like:

Everything is arranged very simply here, air passes through the tubes into special three holes of the lower airflow (that is, these three holes and the tubes themselves are combined), everything is much simpler than it might seem. Nearby there are two grooves, which by themselves are in no way aligned with the airflow holes, they are by themselves. There are two stands with screws for a Phillips screwdriver.
A small bevel, we drive the leg of the spiral and clamp it - it’s convenient.

The base is made very high quality, and at the same time it is very easy to wind.

For those who do not understand how the spiral is blown, this is clear and understandable:

Winding.
For convenience, first we select a spiral, it should cover all three airflow holes, and the legs of the spiral should also go into the holes of the racks. What to do, just take it on a piece of paper and mark the length with a pen or take a ruler. And you can also make one spiral (blank), along which you will wind a new coil each time for this tank. One of the inconveniences is that you need to wind it counterclockwise, I took the Fused Clapton, the mandrel diameter is 3 mm.

He slightly raised the spiral over the airflow, but just a little bit.

Next, cotton wool, left the ends by eye and fluffed it very well with sharp tweezers.

In fact, I leave a little less cotton in length than in the photo above.
Of course, the spiral turned out to be not quite even, but this does not affect the taste. I just remade the spiral for this base.

Leave the length as desired, someone leaves a little, someone a lot.

The set power is 48 watts, later raised to 55.

The liquid is 70 to 30, the flow is perfect, the amount of steam is good, the steam is thick, warm and there is a lot of it. What else I forgot to indicate: the diameter of the pot-bellied glass is 27 mm.

Opinion.
I liked the tank, it does not flow, I did not find a drop of liquid and condensate in the airflow holes. I can’t even imagine how to pour it, I put a negligible amount of cotton wool into the grooves and even in this case it didn’t drip. The tank from the box does not smell of anything, it seems that it was thoroughly washed, there are no smells, no production oil, no chips. Can be used immediately, there will be no foreign odors when vaping. The quality of the screws is normal, the threads are normal, the metal is processed well. The taste transfer is decent, of course it’s not a drip, but in terms of taste in its category, this is one of the best tanks.

Cons: easy to open filling cap, weak o-ring under the adjustment ring. And one imhovaya claim, I would like a little tighter puff. But what if you leave the design, but make a tank with a tighter puff, for vaping at 20-30 watts, it would be great (or generally stir up a cigarette case using this design for low power, 15 watts) And so, use Intake RTA below 50 I don’t see much sense in watts, there is a lot of air here, a large spiral is needed.
Tank experience: 3 weeks. As for the noise when tightening, it is not here, unpleasant sounds and whistling as such are absent.

Now the box mod connector always stays dry, there is no condensation on the bottom and that's great. I recommend the tank boldly, among single-coil hookah puffs - I have it in my favorites. As for the lid, it didn’t move by itself, pah pah (but theoretically it can)

This concludes, thank you for your attention.

Plus serviced atomizers is obvious. This is an opportunity to experiment, change channels for wicks, spirals and containers, and, accordingly, look for the optimal modification. Including top RTA atomizers - the best choice for beginners who will be able to experience all the subtleties of vaping.

Pharaoh Digiflavor

At Digiflavor, the popular Internet reviewer Rip Trippers was involved in the development of a new atomizer. The output turned out to be a 25 mm base, where you can mount both a single and a double coil. The key advantage is the endless options for adjusting the airflow. Pharaoh has three holes rectangular shape 5 - 2.5 mm.

Other advantages include:

  • suitable for different sets;
  • hookah and cigarette vape puff;
  • powerful taste transfer;
  • intuitive replacement and installation of wicks.

Wotofo Serpent Mini

The Wotofo brand is known to vapers all over the world. This is a company famous for the development of simple and convenient things. One of them is the compact Serpent Mini tank with a single coil, bright flavors and an optimal amount of vapor.

At the top of the atomizer is equipped with a ring that provides control over the e-liquid flow and quick refilling of the tank. Two air ducts are responsible for blowing.

Choosing Serpent Mini is profitable and promising:

  • single coil base, convenient replacement;
  • dense and saturated steam;
  • instant "clean" refueling.

IJoy Limitless

Among the top serviceable tanks is iJoy, which is ideal for beginners. The developers managed to create an atomizer with a universal configuration. This translates into a convenient location of key parts, which simplifies replacement and maintenance. With the help of this device, even a novice steamer will be able to make their own windings, adjust the airflow and work with large-sized coils.

For beginners, the iJoy tank will appeal to the transfer of flavor. At the same time, with a fully open airflow, the atomizer makes a full hookah puff better: you feel saturation and depth.

iJoy user gets:

  • double air duct with easy adjustment;
  • two coils and two velocity racks;
  • a good volume of 4 ml;
  • expressive taste.

Griffin GeekVape

GeekVape is an updated configuration of the same name model from Griffin. In the new tank model, the manufacturer has increased the airflow holes and the diameter of the holes in the velocity racks. In addition, GeekVape comes in two versions: the upgrade version is equipped with a top blower.

Another novelty is the increased volume of the tank, which has grown from 3 to 6 mm.

Choosing a serviced GeekVape atomizer is the benefits:

  • it is a stable taste transfer and thick volumetric vapor;
  • the upper air duct makes soaring saturated;
  • the tank holds a lot of liquid;
  • You can work with different drip types.

Smok Smoktech

Smoktech has released the Smok Tank for the true vaping connoisseur who chooses a good yet feature-packed device. This is a bulky and roomy atomizer with a four-coil base and an unrivaled design.

The tank looks stylish, but the main thing is the ability to experiment with complex windings and look for redistribution of taste transfer.

The user has at his disposal:

  • powerful four-spiral base, providing a bright taste;
  • a tank of several milliliters for long soaring;
  • an interesting winding configuration that will appeal to fans of non-standard solutions;
  • presentable design worthy of premium devices.

GeekVape Avocado 24

Avocado 24 is the atomizer of choice for lovers of long and thick vaping. The new tank has expanded to 24mm and holds enough e-liquid for hours of smoking. The base is designed for giant coils, which is also confirmed by the holes in the racks for 3 and 2 mm.

The airflow holes open up to 7 and 2 mm, which means that you can work with both cigarette and hookah puffs. Avocado 24 comes with a ceramic insert. This is done to switch to single coil mode and improve airflow.

Pluses and merits:

  • universal atomizer for professionals and beginners;
  • double spirals form a dense and saturated cloud;
  • single-coil mode will help you feel the taste of the slurry;
  • good and profitable alternative to drip;
  • compact dimensions coupled with spaciousness;
  • ease of cleaning and disassembly.

Gemini Vaporesso

If the problem is which atomizer to choose, Vaporesso will appeal to those who prefer to taste rather than drown in clouds of vapor. The base of the atomizer is built on two 50W coils. However, this model gained popularity due to the modified design. Like on others top tanks, Vaporesso is adapted to change wicks, coils and upgrade parts conveniently.

The Gemini atomizer looks technologically advanced and detailed, but this does not affect refilling in any way. It will take a minimum of effort to fill the liquid, as well as to disassemble and install new windings.

SvoeMesto Kayfyn 5

The fifth version of the atomizer continues the tradition. A tank with a diameter of 22 mm and four airflow adjustment options will fall into the hands of the steamer. In the 5th generation configuration, holes are implemented to adjust the fluid flow. This is convenient when liquids of different densities are steamed.

Tanks and clearomizers

Every vaper sooner or later wonders what is the best tank for electronic cigarettes. Let's start with the fact that tanks are a device where the steam mixture is generated into steam.

That is why vape users want to choose the best tanks for their gadgets, due to which they can better organize the vaping process. And yet, which tank for electronic cigarette better? This is what we will try to deal with you now.

  • serviced (RTA);
  • serviced drip (RDA);
  • genesis.

There is another category of serviceable atomizers - RDTA, drips that you can service yourself. But in this publication we will talk about ordinary tanks. All of these vaporizer options are equipped with coils, which can be either purchased at a vape shop or twisted on your own.

So, what are serviced tanks. As a rule, most of these evaporators have a base on which, in fact, the heating element (our coil with a wick) is placed. Whereas the tank itself with the vapor mixture is located above the base. Depending on the size of the tank, it can hold from 2 to 10 ml of liquid.

Most of these evaporators, released recently, are equipped with top airflow. The principle of operation in this case is as follows: the air first of all descends to the winding outside the chamber, and only after that it goes up through it, that is, to the drip-type.

The bases of serviced tanks are equipped with slots or holes, through which the vaporized liquid rises through the wick to the heating element

Drips, unlike tanks, have a small bath for refilling, respectively, less liquid will interfere with them. Heating coils are also located at the bottom of the evaporator, and the wicks are immersed in the recharge bath.

In addition, the drip does not have a chamber, since the vapor mixture is in any case below the spirals. Instead, the RDAs are equipped with a top cap that sits on top of the base. Air enters through the bottom, top or side vents and rises from the top cap to the drip tip.

Genesis atomizer is a combined evaporator in which a drip and a tank are combined. They have a capacity similar to the RTA, but they are located at the bottom of the atomizer, under the base. Due to this, the effect of having a deep bath is achieved.

A rolled stainless steel mesh acts as a wick, through which the steaming mixture enters the winding. In addition, Genesis, like drips, has a top cap. Yes, and air circulation occurs according to the principle similar to drips.

Tank Advantages

First of all, I would like to note the advantages of serviced tanks over unattended ones - a vape user does not need to purchase factory coils, they can be made with my own hands. This not only allows you to save on winding electronics, but also gives you the widest possibilities when vaping (the larger the winding area, the more steam it produces).

If we compare tanks with drips, then the former have the following advantages:

  1. The volume of the contained vapor mixture.
    It's no secret that RDAs are drip-filled, that is, they drip a certain amount onto the winding and soar for 8-10 puffs. The tank is good because, as mentioned above, up to 10 ml of liquid is placed in its tank. This means that you can use the vape between refills almost all day (it all depends on the frequency of vaping).
  2. If the vape is not standing vertically, then, in the case of a drip, it may leak.
    Whereas with the tank, the electronics will not leak. This is due to the fact that there is no camera in the drips, but there is one in the tanks.
  3. Compared to drips and genesis, tanks are easier to wind.
    At the very least, genesis owners note that they always have to take care of the correct oxidation of the mesh and determine the hot spots where the mesh will come into contact with the heating element.

To make it easier for you to decide which serviced tank to choose, we offer you our top 5 most popular vaporizers for electronic cigarettes.

Pharaoh by Rip Trippers/Digiflavor

The diameter of this tank is 25 mm, and on its base you can install a single or double winding of a wide variety of configurations. The base itself is equipped with two racks with spring clips for fixing coils. The single wick and opening can be closed and opened by the user of the electronics as needed.

This vaporizer model provides the vaper with the widest airflow adjustment options. This is due to the fact that the tank is equipped simultaneously with three central rectangular holes, the size of which is 5 * 2.5 mm. Thanks to this, both a hookah puff and a tight cigarette puff are possible.

For stable use of the TK mode, the positive connection was gold-plated during the manufacturing process. And thanks to the presence of a PEEK insulator, high vaporization is ensured.

Such a tank is perfect for those vapers who are looking for a brand new, interesting and tasty atomizer for their electronics.

Advantages:

  • the presence of a multifunctional base opens up a wide range of vaping opportunities for the vaper;
  • the possibility of equipping the base with creative windings;
  • ease of maintenance, namely in the installation of wicks;
  • good taste qualities given out steam;
  • the possibility of a hookah puff, as well as a tight cigarette;
  • good steam generation.

As for the shortcomings, there is only one – for some vapers, a 2 ml tank is not enough.

And in all other respects, these tanks are considered one of the most popular atomizers of our time.

Griffin 25mm RTA by GeekVape

An improved vaporizer model from the world famous GeekVape, which appeared before vapers in a new 25mm version. 2 versions were released: with top airflow and no airflow at all.

The base of this tank can still be equipped with one or two coils at the same time, but unlike the old version, now its size is 17 mm.

In this version of the atomizer, the volume of the reservoir is already as much as 6 ml, which is twice as large as the previous Griffin. These vaporizers are suitable for both experienced vapers, and even novice vapers who have just begun to comprehend the intricacies of such a truly fascinating culture as vaping can handle them.

Advantages:

  • high-quality veloci-stands with holes for fixing the winding Ø5 mm;
  • the possibility of soaring in temperature control mode;
  • the presence of a gold-plated 510 type connector and a PEEK insulator ensures a stable connection between the tank and the vape itself;
  • a sufficiently large volume of the tank for refueling;
  • the ability to use various drip types;
  • providing fantastic taste and a decent vapor cloud;
  • ease of installation of spirals and wicks.

Of the shortcomings, only that this tank is a bit tall.

Avocado 24 by GeekVape

A modern tank, the diameter of which is as much as 24 mm. This evaporator model is equipped with high-quality velocity stands, with which you can securely fix the coils on the base.

The size of the opening for the wicks is 4 mm, which allows even beginners to use such devices. As for the volume of the reservoir, this advanced model includes as much as 5 ml of liquid.

Innovative double 3mm refill ports with twist cap make refilling simple and easy. In addition, Avocado provides the ability to adjust the size of the air duct opening: if they are fully opened, then their size will be 7 * 2 mm. To change the size of the holes, just rotate the top cap.

In addition, the tank is equipped with a ceramic insert that can be installed instead of one of the coils. Thanks to the convenient base and ease of maintenance, the Avocado 24 will appeal to everyone, from a novice vaper to a professional.

Advantages:

  • getting a bright taste of steam even with an active one spiral;
  • excellent vaporization when using two spirals;
  • ideal price / quality ratio;
  • wide range of vaping options;
  • the possibility of soaring like on a drip;
  • due to its small size, this tank will perfectly complement almost any vape;
  • Due to the possibility of complete disassembly, this vaporizer can be completely washed after use, which greatly extends its service life.

Flaws:

  • this tank may leak if dropped.

Another vaporizer that is very popular among pro vapers. In terms of performance, it has certain similarities with the Geekvape Griffin tank. It is easy to use, has a spacious base that can easily fit two coils.

This tank is mostly designed for aroma transfer, but can also be used for sub-ohm vaping.

Advantages:

  • convenient and affordable design;
  • simple and spacious base with the ability to install a pair of spirals;
  • convenient refueling process - top;
  • high rates of vaporization and taste transfer;
  • ease of installation and assembly.

Flaws:

  • it is not intended for releasing huge clouds of steam, that is, it is better not to take this tank for cloud chasing.

Kayfun v5 by SvoeMesto

The tanks of this manufacturer are valued by their owners for their excellent transmission and wide possibilities for adjusting the vaping process.

Advantages:

  • the widest range of airflow adjustment;
  • you can buy a tank in stainless steel or glass;
  • high quality construction, which leads to a long service life;
  • the possibility of equipping the base with large spirals;
  • excellent flavoring.

Of the shortcomings, only that there is no hookah puff on this tank.

If you use an electronic cigarette with a tank, then here are a few good advice on the use of such gadgets:

  1. In order for the vaping process to be of high quality, you need to make sure that the coil covers the air duct opening, especially in atomizers with a bottom airflow.
  2. Coils that are too short will cause liquid that drips onto the wick to enter the blow hole, resulting in gurgling and leaks. To prevent possible vaporizer leaks, you need to make sure that the vapor mixture does not drip freely onto the base past the tails of the wick. The latter should optimally block the holes for the liquid.
  3. If the tank starts to vape dry, it means that you have overdone the blockage and prevented the liquid from moving. To balance the vaping process, you need to replenish the tank with filling in a timely manner and monitor the level of liquid in it.
  4. Bucky will be the most suitable option for the first vape on serviced vaporizers, since most of these gadgets allow the vaper to reach the base at any time to reinstall the wick.
  5. And, lastly, make sure that the container is not overfilled with vaporous liquid. There should be some air left in it, due to which the liquid can evenly soak the tails of the wick. It also causes the timely replacement of the evaporated liquid with air.

Summing up

Bucky - great alternative regular atomizers. They are roomy, tasty and give out a lot of steam. In the case of serviced evaporators, it is easier to wind the bases yourself, and it will be cheaper in terms of money. Maintenance-free tanks after use (which is 6000-8000 puffs) are subject to disposal, and there is no possibility of varying the characteristics of the coils on them.

From the top tanks offered above, you can choose for yourself the device that will definitely be able to satisfy your vaping needs. What vaporizer do you think is the best to use on electronic cigarettes?

The package includes:

  • Serviced atomizer Bachelor Nano;
  • A 0.5 ohm Kanthal coil;
  • Spiral Ni200 0.2 ohm;
  • Spare glass;
  • O-rings;
  • screws;
  • Hex key;
  • Instruction;
  • Package.

In general, a good package and for servicing the tank there is everything you need, except for cotton.

Main characteristics.

  • Color: Black, Silver;
  • Case: stainless steel;
  • Flask: Pyrex glass;
  • Drip tip: 510;
  • Refueling: top;
  • Volume: 2 ml;
  • Spirals: 1 piece;
  • Airflow: adjustable;
  • Fluid supply adjustment: + ;
  • Connector: 510;
  • Size: 42 x 22-23 mm;
  • Weight 69 g.

Consider the tank in more detail and start from the top.

The 510 drip tip is made of Delrin and metal and is supported by two o-rings. Due to the fact that the base is made of Delrin, it does not get very hot. I'm out of the habit of 510 drip types and prefer to use wider ones, so I installed this one ... like Petri.

Convenient top filling, which is reminiscent of solutions from SMOK. The lid leans to the side, and we see two holes for filling and air outlet. During the entire period of use, there were no accidental discoveries. Bachelor Nano holds 2 ml of e-liquid. Yes... the volume is not large, but what to expect from a tank with a NANO prefix. Although I must admit that the device is not the smallest in size, the same Serpent mini will be more compact, and our “bachelor” will have more weight.

Without a rack base for one spiral, it allows you to install windings with a sufficiently large number of turns, the recommended diameter of the frame is 3 mm. You can install Clapton 0.4 + 0.2 mm, but 0.5 + 0.2 will not fit. Servicing the tank is very simple, you just need to guess the length of the legs of the spiral. We insert it into two holes in the base and tighten the screws. We burn the spiral, insert cotton wool, cut off the excess and everything ... is ready.

There is the possibility of adjusting the flow of fluid and blowing. The blower adjustment ring rotates smoothly and has a stopper. In general, the quality of materials and assembly is good and does not raise any complaints.

The Bachelor Nano has a medium draw, delivers good flavor and delivers enough vapor for a single coil tank.

Minuses.

  1. Volume 2 ml
  2. Cotton not included

Pros.

  1. Good taste
  2. Convenient refueling
  3. Easy Maintenance
  4. Build quality
  5. Low price tag

Results

All in all, the Bachelor Nano RTA is a good single coil tank to recommend. Personally, I actively use it with the Eleaf Pico 75W box mod, especially in the warm season, when there is no desire to carry large and heavy devices with me. If you don’t like the design of this device, then you can take a closer look at the Wotofo Serpent mini tank, it will also be reviewed.
