5) And finally, if it is not possible to determine the direction of the Qibla, for example, due to darkness or cloudiness, then, at the beginning, you should ask someone who knows about it. If you have no one to ask, then you should try to determine the Qibla yourself and pray, turning in the direction that you assume is the Qibla.
In this case, your prayer, inshaAllah, will be valid, and you will not be obliged to repeat it, even if later it turns out that you performed the prayer in the wrong direction. If it turns out that you are performing prayer in the wrong direction during its performance, then you should turn in the right direction without interrupting the prayer.

7 ways to determine qibla
In the past, determining the orientation for prayer was a key issue in the Muslim scientific world. Special astronomical tables in Islam are called zij. With their help, you can find the geographical coordinates of a place and the azimuth (the angle between the north direction and the direction of any object) of the qibla.
