Skyrim how to play legend. "Skyrim": difficulty level, passage secrets, tips. Comparison of difficulty in Skyrim: differences in difficulty levels "Adept" and "Legendary"

The game "Skyrim" was released back in 2011 and has since acquired a large number of additions and mods. The latest version of the game has added "legendary" difficulty and has become a real challenge for some players. But what makes the new difficulty different from all the others, and how do you play Skyrim on Legendary difficulty?

Difficulty levels

In total, the game has 6 difficulty levels. By default, the average level is "Adept". If some stage of the game seems too difficult, then the difficulty can be switched to an easier one and continue passing. You can also do the opposite: complicate the game if it seems too simple.

What is the difference between difficulty levels in Skyrim? With each subsequent level, the damage received by the player increases and the amount of damage dealt decreases. In other words, the higher the difficulty level, the harder the opponents hit and the more time the hero needs to kill them.

Newbie

The lowest difficulty level in Skyrim. It is not popular with players, because the game becomes simply uninteresting. You can switch to "beginner" in the event that you can't win a battle on a higher difficulty and you don't want to return to it later with a stronger character. Also, low difficulty is suitable for those who do not like battles and just want to explore the world.

Student

At this difficulty level in Skyrim, things get a little more difficult, but still not interesting enough. Enemies on the "student" are too easy to kill, the character, in turn, receives too little damage from them. On this difficulty, you can quickly complete tasks and just get acquainted with the plot and the universe of the game.

adept

The average difficulty level in Skyrim, which is the default in the game. This is the best place to start getting to know the game. However, experienced players "adept" will seem too simple. Playing at this difficulty level is quite comfortable, and it does not require the player to think over tactics for each battle. However, the character may already be dead, and therefore sometimes you will have to use healing potions.

Expert

If the game on the "adept" seems too easy, you can try your hand at the "expert". This level of complexity of "Skyrim" is not the most difficult, but it will not allow you to completely relax. Some enemies will start to deal more damage compared to previous difficulty levels, their health will increase, and the character will need more healing potions to deal with them.

Master

Initially, the "master" was the most difficult level in Skyrim. At this level, the enemies become quite strong, their defense increases even more, and the damage that the character inflicts becomes significantly less. Now the player needs to think over his actions before entering the battle and stock up on potions.

Legendary

The maximum level of difficulty in the game. A feature of the legendary difficulty level in Skyrim is that now opponents can kill the player with almost one hit. Without the right approach to character development, a fair supply of potions and patience, the "legendary" difficulty is almost impossible to pass.

Comparison of difficulty in Skyrim: differences in difficulty levels "Adept" and "Legendary"

As already mentioned, the choice of difficulty affects how much damage opponents will inflict on the character and how hard the hero himself will hit. As the difficulty increases, stronger varieties of monsters may occur, but they do not have any additional skills. And of course, the passage of "Skyrim" on the "legendary" difficulty level takes much more time than on the "adept".

How is the fight on the maximum and medium difficulty different? For example, having attacked a wolf with "adept" difficulty, the player can easily deal with it, inflicting a couple of blows, and continue on his way. On the "legendary" difficulty, at the first meeting with a wolf in melee, you will have to try hard to kill him. You can even have time to improve several skills.

If an ice troll is encountered on the "adept" at the beginning of the game, then it is quite possible to deal with it. At the "legendary" level, when meeting with such a monster, it is better to run away immediately and return only when the character improves his abilities.

In general, the game on the "adept" seems to be quite easy at first, and only as the character's level increases, everything starts to become a little more difficult. With the "legendary" difficulty, the opposite is true. The first levels are given with difficulty, but with the development of the character, the enemies cease to seem invincible.

Another difference between the maximum difficulty level and the average one is that in order to successfully apply skills, they must be well pumped. For example, the "stealth" skill on "adept" works well after getting the first six levels, while on "legendary" difficulty this skill must be improved to at least level 45.

"Adept" is more suitable for those who do not want to bother too much when passing the game. The "legendary" difficulty will appeal to fans of constantly testing their character for strength.

Pumping some skills

Since the character level in Skyrim increases with the level of skills, it will be useful to know how to pump some of them faster:

  • Stealth. The easiest way to increase this skill is to push the character against the wall, press the Ctrl key to make him crouch, Capslock to disable running and "C" to automatically move forward. After this, the character can be left for a while until the skill is pumped. Another way is to constantly move around the world in stealth mode without using fast travel.
  • Eloquence. The skill is easily improved by talking to the bartender in the tavern in Riften. One has only to ask him to tell about the Black Heather family and choose Persuasion all the time. You can also give any poor man a few coins or go to the temple of Dibella for a blessing.
  • Pickpocketing. The easiest way to improve this skill is by constantly saving before stealing and loading in case of failure (hotkeys F5-F9). The amount of experience gained depends on the value of the item you decide to steal.
  • Blacksmith craft. To get the maximum benefit from this skill, it is worth downloading it after pumping eloquence. All you need to improve blacksmithing is a lot of iron ingots and strips of leather. You can both buy them and get them yourself by smelting ore and cutting the skin into strips. Daggers are made from the extracted ingredients, which can be sold immediately, but it is better to leave them for pumping enchantment.
  • Enchantment. To improve this skill, you need a large number of soul gems and a few learned enchantments. There are two ways to get stones: by enchanting some weapon to capture souls and finishing off monsters with it, or by using a spell if you decide to play as a magician. After receiving the stones, you can start enchanting the daggers made earlier. If there are no daggers, then you should go to Solitude and visit the Shining Clothes store. There you can buy a lot of cheap things that, after enchantment, are easy to resell for more.
  • Alchemy. This skill requires many different ingredients that are mined and bought throughout Skyrim. It is most profitable to make invisibility potions, as well as paralysis poison, which causes damage to health.
  • Weapon possession. This skill can be easily pumped at the beginning of the game. Just get to the place with the she-bear in the prologue of the game, take a dagger or other weapon and start hitting Hadvor or Ralof, depending on your choice. Because these characters are tutorial and story characters that must be on the player's side at least until they exit the cave, they won't start attacking no matter how many hits you hit them. It is best to choose the "legendary" difficulty level when leveling a skill in this way, so that Ralof's or Hadvor's health indicator decreases more slowly.

In Skyrim, there are quite a few nuances and tricks that can help in passing the game. Here are some of them:

  • By holding down the Alt key, the character starts to run or ride a horse faster, spending stamina. But it is best not to use it completely, because, once it is over, it will begin to recover only after a few seconds.
  • Do not ignore the books that you find during the passage of the game. They can upgrade some ability or start a quest.
  • Shooting with a bow in stealth mode will allow you to deal additional damage.
  • If you remove torches from the walls, then sneaking will become easier.
  • Using the standby mode (default key "T"), you can quickly restore health, mana and stamina.
  • You can exchange things with companions, but it is worth remembering that their carrying capacity is limited. Also, companions have another interesting feature: if you give them one arrow for archery, then it will never end, no matter how much the companion shoots. You can, for example, give a mercenary an ebonite arrow and collect a hundred of the same arrows for him.
  • Things left anywhere will soon disappear. To avoid this, you should buy yourself a house and put things in a chest.
  • If you don't like the difficulty settings of the game itself, then you can put mods of difficulty levels in Skyrim. Some of them equalize the damage taken and the damage dealt, which can make life a little easier at the legendary level. Others improve certain skills, which makes the game at the highest difficulty more comfortable, but it becomes uninteresting to play at lower difficulties. There are some that further increase the complexity of the game.

What do you need?

Nerves, a bunch of saves and preferably a Khajiit.
Why nerves? - die at every step
Savings - So you need to load
Khajiit ???- He has strong claws and steals well.

The very beginning

We go to Riverwood and talk to Fendal.
We complete his quest and take him as a partner, if you are an archer, then he must live no matter what.
I personally always took someone as a partner.

Fork

We can go three ways
1. The easiest are allies.
As soon as we get to them, wolf armor will become available to us at a cheap price and with good performance, and we will be able to pump blacksmithing up to 50-60.
Just a quick save. buy level 1 forge. business and steal your money. Repeat.
2.Medium
Let's join the thieves' guild and we'll be able to sell the stolen goods.
We just go and steal from all the cities along the way, everything is food.
3. Just extra. quests.
We go and earn from all the quests with Fendal.

*4. College of Mages - for Mages
If you follow the path of the magician, then taking J "zargo costs 50 to 50, since he is also a magician and we need a magician.

Armor and weapons

We go to Largashbur and steal armor right in the middle of the fortress. (We go around the fortress in the mountains)
You can go to the top of Whiterun and find the Ancient Nord Ruins where there is an Ebony Weapon. But I have never done that and used Khajiit claws.
How to fight? We take any companion (preferably immortal) and use it as a tank.
You can use my favorite method ala take a good companion and give him a Mehrunes razor.

College of Vinetrhold

We go to the College of Winterhold.
There we need J "zargo, after completing 2-3 quests we go to him and fulfill his request, after which he will become your companion.
J "zargo is strong.

We go to the brothers of the storm or to the imperials and go through their quest line, since the enemies there are weak and the level itself will not be pumped.

Make the game easier (optional)

Now we can get rich by using
my previous guide.

We go to the guardians of the dawn and go through their quest line in order to get the bow of Auriel and Serana.

Making armor

Since our blacksmithing is pumped up j 50-60, then we go to buy iron and make a lot of daggers
after which we will upgrade blacksmithing to 100.
Now we go to Dawnstar and look for a Daedric museum, artifacts, now we go through the Mirunes Dagon quest and kill the Daedra there.
We take their hearts and make Daedric armor.

We go through the storyline and kill the dragon, take its bones and make daeric weapons. (Maces, Two-weapons, Swords) If you are an archer, you can keep Auriel's bow.

Story line

Now it's time to go to the plot.
Let's go dig potions (Optional).
Buy arrows (If you are rich).
Equip companions.
And it is very important to get potions for resistance to fire and cold.
You can enchant weapons to resist fire and cold.

Today, many Skyrim players show dissatisfaction with the created difficulty system in the game. And there is a reasonable note in this. What causes the annoying buzz in the first place is that it's too easy to play at an intermediate level, too difficult to play at a high one.

I must say right away that almost everything that I say about the Master also applies to the Expert.

It can be immodestly noted that the game at a difficult level, that is, on the Master, can actually be played by a player who is quite professional in his favorite business, no matter what anyone says. Let me tell you why I'm so sure of it.

Let's take one fan out of a thousand, in this case the author of the post, to analyze the passage of the game at different difficulty levels.

First of all, I’ll say that at the moment I’ve gone through the game much less than most of you, the readers of this post, precisely because after many years of going through Oblivion and Morrowind up and down and getting my character to heavenly levels, I decided to try new system"pumping" in Skyrim. And I started by simply changing the difficulty level.

For the first time this thought came to me when I left the first dungeon, and one of my weak punches was enough for a wild angry wolf to fly away from my character for several meters.

Immediately after that, I decided to go through the main quest twice, and then do everything else, because there is never too much Skyrim.

Do not forget that the following information is subjective and what I had in the game may be completely different for you.

Playing as a Master vs Playing as an Adept

The leveling of the character on the Master, in spite of everything, is slower - this is the first. When my familiar gamer boys wrote to me in full about how quickly they move up the level ladder, and how quickly they pass the game, I just sighed in annoyance and proudly answered with a single on-duty phrase: “I play on the Master.”

Why slower? Because at a difficult level of the game it is impossible to use all the abilities. For example, this applies to close combat.

What is the difference between melee combat of medium difficulty and high?

As we know, with an increase in the difficulty level, any damage inflicted on the opponent decreases and the damage inflicted on the main character increases. In close combat, fighting with a sword or two swords, you can inflict minor damage on the enemy, but it is very difficult to protect yourself with armor or liters of healing potions. This is a minus in the system of complexity. In theory, in order to kill a strong enemy by the standards of the game, you need to protect yourself with distance.

Let's take a few monsters: from a wolf to a dragon. On a masterly difficult level, “filling up” a wolf is not a laughingly easy thing, but rather an easy warm-up, in which several skills even have time to pump. But if on the way the hero meets an ice troll, which is very, very real to kill on the Adept, then on the Master it is hardly possible to do this.

Let's take the draugr overlord - close combat is difficult, each magical attack takes away a sufficient number of health points even at a long distance, but one or two hits of the draugr overlord at close range are enough to completely "carry out" all the health, even if you are level will only download it.

Again, on the Adepta, I didn't use the bow of the arrow and even barely used the spells to kill him - the melee sword was quite realistically allowed to destroy the enemy.

Well, it should, of course, be added that it still depends on the specialization of the hero - mage, thief or warrior. After all, it plays an essential role when fighting enemies. It was also easier for me as a player because I use stealth and archery, for a player using a sword, killing a troll or saber tooth turns into a real test, not to mention a dragon.

What is the advantage of the Master - in real pumping. Honestly, at the most difficult level, the same “Stealth” will be real stealth only if it is sufficiently pumped, that is, when the skill is pumped over 45, the character is no longer noticed, but on the Adept the character is no longer noticed after the first six plus units to initial secrecy.

On the Adept, the game at the very beginning seems unusually easy, and as the character is pumped, it becomes more and more complicated. Enemies grow with the strength of the character - the same system was in Oblivion.

On the Master, it's the other way around. From the very beginning of the game, when the character has not yet been pumped, it is very difficult to pull the game. The enemies are strong - you are weak, the weapon is weak, the skills are not yet developed, but with your growth, the growth of the strength of the enemies does not seem so rapid, but in addition to the pumped skills, you acquire good weapons and armor, and with each level it becomes easier for you to use your abilities.

Let the passage of the game go much slower, and the character will not swing too fast for lack of the ability to pump melee at a low level.

In any case, passing the game on a masterly difficult level, you can brag about it, because not every player wants to bother with such difficulties.

The legendary difficulty level is complicated by the fact that it is legendaryly difficult, and this, alas, is a fact, naked as a girl on a nudist beach - you can’t argue. The legendary level is difficult not only due to the fact that it automatically increases the health and damage levels of enemies, making them harsh, like a berserker overfed with fly agaric, who was put a basket of flowers on his head in the Solitude market and called him a "snotty youngster".

One of the features of the Legendary difficulty level is that when you load the game, it automatically increases the damage and strength of opponents. As a result, on the Legendary difficulty level, any enemy inflicts simply amazing damage on you. The system of companions and housecarls becomes completely useless, since almost any partner (except for quest ones - they are immortal throughout the essence of the game) is killed instantly at the Legendary level. Therefore, the Legendary level is the lot of "stalkers" - loners who are used to solving all issues that arise along the way by force, magic or cunning.

For such lone wolves, this mod is just made. It significantly changes some abilities in the branches: Thief, Mage and Warrior, strengthening them by TWO times.

I especially want to note that one of the most underestimated abilities of the School of Restoration, Necromage, has also been doubled. This ability, with the mod installed, doubles the effect of ANY spells against ANY undead. And few people know - but this effect also applies to enchanted weapons.

This ability makes the Vampire Scourge spell one of the most formidable anti-vampire weapons in the Vampire Lords expansion. At the Legendary level, vampires become so harsh. that they can easily kill your hero even at level 80, and his partners and housecarls are not even considered enemies (with the exception of Barbas - the level of vampires rises cyclically - they can still be defeated up to level 20, but after 30 they become extremely invincible.

"Scourge of Vampires", combined with "Great Necromage" will quickly bring them to a sane state. Given the very interesting feature of this spell, it will appeal to those who hesitated to reload saves if some quest character was killed in the event of an attack by vampires on cities. "Scourge of the Vampiro" removes this problem once and for all.

The "Great Necromage" ability doubles damage (even damage from Screams) against: dragurs, ashen spawn, vampires (and it doesn't matter what type) and summoned creatures, such as zombies (on those that you summon - for example Furious People - the same effect - so that less swing spells if you use mods for draft creatures).

The mod was made by a player who went through Skyrim alone at the Legendary level. (Our person!)

Special warning: DO NOT INSTALL the mod if you are NOT playing at the Legendary level! Otherwise, the game will lose all taste and meaning and become unbearably boring.

The mod does NOT replace the Constellations - it just changes their properties. Even if you install this mod, don't expect everything to be all at once! You will have to level as usual to get these enhanced abilities! This makes the mod very well balanced.

Bugs and compatibility:
There may be bugs with mods that change the very essence of the Constellations of Skills and remake them. With mods that ADD new abilities, there were no confrontations.

Requirements: Skyrim, all three expansions, Legendary difficulty and preferably a brave heart.

Installation: Standard

Removal: Standard.
