This standard applies to heat-insulating mineral wool vertically layered mats consisting of strips cut from mineral wool boards and glued to a protective cover material in a position in which the layers mineral wool located perpendicular to the protective cover material.

Heat-insulating vertically layered mats are intended for thermal insulation of pipelines with a diameter of more than 108 mm and devices at a temperature of insulated surfaces from minus 120 to plus 300°C.

1. GRADES AND SIZES

1.1. Mats, depending on the density (bulk weight), are divided into grades 75 and 125.

1.2. The dimensions of the mats must correspond to those given in and on.

1.3. The designation of the mat should consist of its abbreviated name, the brand of the mat, the brand of the covering material specified in the standards or technical specifications, the dimensions of the length, width and thickness of the mat in millimeters, separated by dots, and the number of this standard.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. Mats must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard according to the technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.

2.2. For the manufacture of mats, mineral wool slabs on a synthetic binder grades 75 and 125 according to GOST 9573-82 should be used.

2.3. As protective coating materials, the following should be used: roofing material according to GOST 10923-82, glass roofing material according to GOST 15879-70, aluminum foil dubbed, fiberglass rolled for thermal insulation and foil roofing material according to the manufacturer's specifications.

Bitumen grades BN70/30 and BN90/10 according to GOST 6617-76, polyethylene film according to GOST 10354-82 are used as an adhesive.

Note. It is allowed, by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, to use other coating and adhesive materials.

2.4. Limit deviations the dimensions of the mats should not exceed:

The variation in the thickness of the mat should not exceed 5 mm.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1, 4.2.(Deleted, Rev. No. 1).

4.3. The length, width and thickness of mats are measured according to GOST 17177-87 on a mat laid with mineral wool strips upwards. The thickness of the mat is measured at a specific load of 500 Pa (0.005 kgf/cm2). The size of the gaps between the mineral wool strips is determined after every fifth strip of the measured product.

4.4. The difference in thickness is determined by the results of measuring the thickness of the mats according to clause 4.3. Thickness variation is calculated as the difference between the largest and the smallest values mat thickness.

4.5. The width of the longitudinal edge is measured with an error of up to 1 mm in six places and is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the measurements taken.

4.6. Density is determined without taking into account the coating material according to GOST 17177-87.

4.7. The compressibility of the mat is determined according to GOST 17177-87.

From each mat that is in the sample by , two samples are cut out along with the cover material.

4.8. The thermal conductivity of the mat is determined according to GOST 7076-87. From each mat, selected according to , cut out one sample without cover material.

4.9. The moisture content of the mat is determined according to GOST 17177-87.

The test sample is made up of five point samples taken in four places diagonally at a distance of at least 250 mm from the corners and in the center of each mat that fell into the sample along .

5.2. It is allowed to transport mats in open vehicles at a distance of up to 200 km with obligatory covering them with a tarpaulin or other moisture-proof material.

Transportation of mats railway carried out by wagon shipments.

Transport marking is carried out with the application of the handling sign “Afraid of dampness” in accordance with GOST 14192-77.

5.3. The height of the stack during storage should not exceed 2 m.

5.4. The holding time of mats in the warehouse before shipment to the consumer must be at least one day.

6. MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

6.1. The manufacturer guarantees the compliance of the mats with the requirements of this standard subject to the conditions of transportation and storage established by this standard.

Guarantee period storage mats - 6 months from the date of their manufacture.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. Mats must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard according to the technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.

2.2. For the manufacture of mats, slabs of mineral wool on a synthetic binder grades 75 and 125 according to GOST 9573 should be used.

2.3. As protective coating materials, the following should be used: roofing material according to GOST 10923, glass roofing material according to GOST 15879, aluminum foil dubbed, fiberglass roll for thermal insulation and foil roofing material according to the manufacturer's specifications.

As an adhesive, bitumen grades BN70/30 and BN90/10 according to GOST 6617, polyethylene film according to GOST 10354 are used.

Note. It is allowed, by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, to use other coating and adhesive materials.

2.4. The maximum deviations of the dimensions of the mats should not exceed:

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Acceptance of mats should be carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 26281 and this standard.

3.2. The batch volume of mats is set in the amount of no more than a shift output.

3.3. The dimensions of the mats, the thickness difference, the gap between the mineral wool strips, the width of the longitudinal edge, the density, compressibility, moisture content, the bonding strength of the mineral wool strips to the cover material of each mat included in the sample are determined for each batch.

Thermal conductivity is determined once a quarter and with each change in raw materials and production technology on three mats that have passed acceptance tests.

3.4. A batch of mats not accepted based on the results of control of dimensions, thickness variation, gap between mineral wool strips, width of the longitudinal edge, bonding strength is subjected to continuous control according to the indicator for which the batch was not accepted.

3.5. When rejecting a batch of mats, a re-check is carried out based on the results of determining the thermal conductivity. Upon receipt of unsatisfactory results of the repeated check, the supply of mats to the consumer should be stopped. After eliminating the causes of the release of low-quality mats, each batch is subjected to control.

Upon receipt of satisfactory results for three consecutive batches, it is allowed to carry out periodic control on and. 3.3.

4. TEST METHODS

4.3. The length, width and thickness of mats are measured in accordance with GOST 17177 on a mat laid with mineral wool strips upwards. The thickness of the mat is measured at a specific load of 500 Pa (0.005 kgf/cm2). The size of the gaps between the mineral wool strips is determined after every fifth strip of the measured product.

5. PACKAGING, LABELING, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

5.1. Packing, marking, transportation and storage of mats are carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 25880 and this standard.

5.1a. Mats must be rolled up. Roll weight - no more than 50 kg, roll diameter - no more than 400 mm.

Mats up to 1500 mm long can be delivered unfolded in stacks. The foot is wrapped with a strip of paper, the end of the paper web is sealed. Foot mass - no more than 50 kg, foot height - no more than 500 mm.

Transport packages are formed in accordance with the rules for the carriage of goods, package sizes and packaging means - in accordance with GOST 24597.

5.2. It is allowed to transport mats in open vehicles at a distance of up to 200 km with obligatory covering them with a tarpaulin or other moisture-proof material.

4 2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 2.1. Mats must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard according to the technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner to be used: roofing material according to GOST, glass roofing material according to GOST, aluminum foil dubbed, fiberglass rolled for thermal insulation and foil roofing material according to the manufacturer's specifications. Bitumen grades BN70 / 30 and BN90 / 10 according to GOST, polyethylene film according to GOST is used as an adhesive. Note. 6 3. ACCEPTANCE RULES 3.1. Acceptance of mats should be carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST and this standard. The volume of a lot of mats is set in the amount of not more than a shift working. the mat included in the sample is determined for each game. Thermal conductivity is determined once a quarter and with each change in raw materials and production technology on three mats that have passed acceptance tests according to the indicator for which the batch was not accepted. When a batch of mats is rejected, based on the results of determining the thermal conductivity, a re-check is carried out. Upon receipt of unsatisfactory results of the repeated check, the supply of mats to the consumer should be stopped. After eliminating the causes of the release of low-quality mats, each batch is subjected to control. Upon receipt of satisfactory results for three consecutive batches, it is allowed to carry out periodic control according to Sec. 3. (Revised edition, Rev. 2). 4. TEST METHODS 4.1, 4.2. This standard applies to thermally insulating mineral wool vertically layered mats consisting of strips cut from mineral wool boards and glued to the protective cover material in a position in which the layers of mineral wool are perpendicular to the protective cover material.

Heat-insulating vertically layered mats are intended for thermal insulation of pipelines with a diameter of more than 108 mm and devices at a temperature of insulated surfaces from minus 120 to plus 300 °C.

1. GRADES AND SIZES

1.1. Mats, depending on the density (bulk weight), are divided into grades 75 and 125.

1.2. The dimensions of the mats must correspond to those given in table. 1 and in the drawing.

1.3. The designation of the mat should consist of its abbreviated name, the brand of the mat, the brand of the covering material specified in the standards or technical specifications, the dimensions of the length, width and thickness of the mat in millimeters, separated by dots, and the number of this standard.

An example of a symbol for a mat of grade 75 on glass roofing material of grade S-RK, 3000 mm long, 1000 mm wide and 60 mm thick:

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.2. For the manufacture of mats, mineral wool slabs on a synthetic binder grades 75 and 125 according to GOST 9573 should be used.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Acceptance of mats should be carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 26281 and this standard.

3.2. The batch volume of mats is set in the amount of no more than a shift output.

3.3. The dimensions of the mats, the thickness difference, the gap between the mineral wool strips, the width of the longitudinal edge, the density, compressibility, moisture content, the bonding strength of the mineral wool strips to the cover material of each mat included in the sample are determined for each batch.

Thermal conductivity is determined once a quarter and with each change in raw materials and production technology on three mats that have passed acceptance tests.

3.4. A batch of mats not accepted based on the results of control of dimensions, thickness variation, gap between mineral wool strips, width of the longitudinal edge, bonding strength is subjected to continuous control according to the indicator for which the batch was not accepted.

3.5. When rejecting a batch of mats, a re-check is carried out based on the results of determining the thermal conductivity. Upon receipt of unsatisfactory results of the repeated check, the supply of mats to the consumer should be stopped. After eliminating the causes of the release of low-quality mats, each batch is subjected to control.

Upon receipt of satisfactory results for three consecutive batches, it is allowed to carry out periodic control according to clause 3.3.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1, 4.2. (Deleted, Rev. No. 1).

4.3. The length, width and thickness of mats are measured in accordance with GOST 17177 on a mat laid with mineral wool strips upwards. The thickness of the mat is measured at a specific load of 500 Pa (0.005 kgf/cm2). The size of the gaps between the mineral wool strips is determined after every fifth strip of the measured product.

4.4. The difference in thickness is determined by the results of measuring the thickness of the mats according to clause 4.3. Thickness variation is calculated as the difference between the largest and smallest values ​​of the mat thickness.

4.5. The width of the longitudinal edge is measured with an error of up to 1 mm in six places and is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the measurements taken.

4.6. Density is determined without taking into account the coating material according to GOST 17177.

4.7. The compressibility of the mat is determined according to GOST 17177.

From each mat included in the sample according to clause 3.1, two samples are cut out along with the cover material.

4.8. The thermal conductivity of the mat is determined according to GOST 7076.

From each mat selected according to clause 3.3, one sample is cut out without cover material.

4.9. The moisture content of the mat is determined according to GOST 17177.

The test sample is made up of five point samples taken in four places diagonally at a distance of at least 250 mm from the corners and in the center of each mat that fell into the sample according to clause 3.1.

4.10. The adhesion strength of mineral wool strips to the cover material is determined by examining the mat after it has been rolled up twice and then unfolded on a flat surface.

The mat is deemed to have passed the test if, after the second unrolling and turning the mat with the strips down, no strip is completely separated from the covering material.

5. PACKAGING, LABELING, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

5.1. Packing, marking, transportation and storage of mats are carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 25880 and this standard.

5.1a. Mats must be rolled up. Roll weight - no more than 50 kg, roll diameter - no more than 400 mm.

Mats up to 1500 mm long can be delivered unfolded in stacks. The foot is wrapped with a strip of paper, the end of the paper web is sealed. Foot mass - no more than 50 kg, foot height - no more than 500 mm.

Transport packages are formed in accordance with the rules for the carriage of goods, package sizes and packaging means - according to GOST 24597.

5.2. It is allowed to transport mats in open vehicles at a distance of up to 200 km with obligatory covering them with a tarpaulin or other moisture-proof material.

Transportation of mats by rail is carried out by carload shipments. Transport marking is carried out with the application of the handling sign "Keep away from moisture" in accordance with GOST 14192.

5.3. The height of the stack during storage should not exceed 2 m.

5.4. The holding time of mats in the warehouse before shipment to the consumer must be at least one day.

6. MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

6.1. The manufacturer guarantees the compliance of the mats with the requirements of this standard subject to the conditions of transportation and storage established by this standard.

Guaranteed shelf life of mats - 6 months from the date of their manufacture.
