Career in the ROC
In 1992, on the advice of his confessor (a priest who takes confession), he entered the external study of the Kyiv Theological Seminary, where he met representatives of high church rank - Archimandrites Kirill (secular name S.N. Govorun) and Longin (V.G. Chernukha), which influenced his worldview. During two years of study, he simultaneously worked as a minister in Lviv churches. 
For some time Andrei studied at the Theological Academy of Kyiv, but was expelled for absenteeism.
