How to find out when they will increase in cs go. Scheme for increasing ranks in Counter Strike Global Offensive. How ranks work in CS:GO

Rank upgrades and how it works!

Hello guys! I A1rMike and today, I will tell you about how the system of ranks and ranks works in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This article will be of interest to those who are just starting to play CS:GO, as well as to seasoned veterans.

Let's start from the beginning:

Firstly, in order to get our first rank, we need to reach the 3rd rank.
I advise you to download it in Deathmatch. it gives the most experience per minute.

1. Competitive mode (Competitive mode) give 30 experience for the won round.
2.DeathMatch score (number of points) divided by 5.
3.Casual (Public) multiply the score by 4.
4. Arms Race (ArmsRace) multiply the score by 1

Simple math. The competitive one is not yet available to us, since we have the 1st rank, but the 3rd is required.
In DeatchMatch "e, you will make a decent amount of frags (kills). This means that the increase in experience per game will be greater than for other modes, so we will get to the 3rd rank, playing exclusively on DeathMatch, but please note, you need to play official matches .
So we got to the 3rd rank. And then, we will download the rank mainly in Competitive games, because. there is the biggest increase, if you do not sit 24/7 in DeathMatch.
Now, we need to calibrate our rank, we need to win, mind you, to win 10 competitive games to get a Private Rank in CS:GO.

Only 2 games are allowed per day. This is done so that the system has time to process your indicators well and hand over exactly your title after 10 victories.
If you lose, it's okay, you can play competitive until you win 2 games.
After the victory of 2 games, you will have a blocking of competitive games for 21 hours.
In general, calibration takes 5 days, if not skipped.
After 10 wins, you will receive a private rank and will be able to play as many competitive games per day as you want (if you do not get banned, more on that elsewhere).

The picture shows all 18 private ranks. Ascending from left to right / top to bottom.
As of this writing, I'm getting close to rank 17 (Supreme).
On the calibration of the first account, I got "Kalash".
When calibrating the second "Kalash with Wreaths".
Some managed to calibrate to new system rank to receive Berkut and even LEM "a, but that's a completely different story.

Usually people get from Silver 2 to Gold Nova 4. So don't be upset if you get a rank lower than "Kalash". What, let's move on to the description of how the increase / decrease works and how the system calculates the utility for the game.

How to rank up and not be demoted in CS:GO.

Many will say that in order to level up, you only need to kill the most and win, this is not entirely true!
With Silver I to Gold Nova I, to level up you need to have 40+ points per game and win 2-3 games in a row.
From Gold Nova II to MGE(Two Kalash) you also need 40+ Oskov, but already 3-4 wins in a row.
Starting from DMG(Big Star) to LEM(Berkut with Wreaths) 40+ points, from 4 to 5 victories in a row.

From LEM "a to Global Elite it's a different story, you need to have 50+ points and win from 5 to 7 in a row, but other coefficients that we are moving to now are very much influenced.

With The system takes into account not only the Kill + Assist / Death ratio (Kill + Help divided by Death), but oh and things like:

1. Accuracy in percent. Divide the number of shots by the number of hits.
2. Headshots of all your kills as a percentage (for 1 game).
3. Beyond Plenty (mining) bombs and for herdefuse (clearance), but for the plant they give 2 times less increase than for the defuse.

D This system only works if you play alone in competitive mode. About the party (lobby with friends) I will describe below.

How, all the same, do not go down.

If the game is doomed to failure (although I still advise you to "sweat" to the end), they cannot be avoided.
G The main thing is to have 40+ points and a good KA/D, but you should not forget about additional coefficients.Those. even if everything is bad, someone left the game, and the rest are in afk, still try to score 40+ points and be inKDA(Kill+Assist/Death) 1 to 1 or positive.
Regarding the game in the party (In the lobby with friends, acquaintances, sweaty guys).

O I strongly advise against playing with friends if you have a wide range of ranks (or ability to play). For example, you are the Global Elite, and your friends are from Nova 2 to Big Stars. Atyou get a very strong spread. Guys can be thrown against you, who will also play in 4-5 and they may all have the same rank, but the average for yours.
Those. Global + Nova 2 + Nova 4 + MG2 + DMG, five Berkuts can freely get caught against you.

Think, 5 Berkuts will crush Global one way or another, and the rest in your party will simply not be able to defeat the golden eagles.

Balance? I don't think.

Dand Global "a will be taken away from you very quickly, maybe even for one such defeat, because the system thinks that you lost to very weak opponents and it doesn't matter to it that you played against the middle rank of your lobby of 5 people.

BUT here, 5 guys out of equal skill (skill) are very welcome, the game for you with such teammates will move to a new level of co-op and interactivity, which is certainly great.

AT party (lobby with friends) promotion works differently, it often happens that you need one and a half times more wins to promote.

One way or another, you have to calculate a lot in your head, all the pros and cons, and in fact, you often have to guess when it will increase or decrease. But with such a scheme, it is much easier than just predicting.

H and that's all, thank you all for reading and happily in the open spaces of CS:GO matchmaking. Raise your ranks, be civilized and friendly. Good luck.

I am writing this for myself, but I think it will be useful for most of those who want to get their "legitimate" titles.

A working rank-up system for 5 people in premade (that is, for 5 in a party), what you need to know and what to do.

First:
You need to collect 5 people with the same rank, it is possible with different ones, but then those with a lower rank will receive promotions.
Second:
As soon as you get a new rank, you get to the "zero level" (let's call it that for convenience). To get promoted you will need to win 3 games in a row. With each new victory, the opponents become stronger, with each lost - weaker. If you get a new rank and lose the game, then you get to -1 level, there opponents are weaker than in your ranks in general, lost again? got to -2 level, there the opponents will be even weaker. Lost 3 ? Sorry, we're downvoting you.
The same is true with victories. Win one game? Got to +1 level, one more? +2, but the opponents are already significantly stronger than you. If you win 3 times in a row, then the lowest ranks in your party for 5 people have been promoted.
It is not difficult to guess that if after the promotion you lost and ended up at -1 level, then you need to win 4 in a row to increase.
Third:
All fairy tales about the number of frags in the game, mvp, the number of clicks, etc. just fairy tales. Everything, that's it, is non-negotiable. You can be a ballast with -1 frags, but if your 5-man party dragged you through 3 win games, you'll get a raise anyway.

Perhaps these are 3 main points, and now a little about the nuances that, again, few people know.
If you play in a party alone, two, three, four, this scheme does not work. Here, most likely, the limit of required victories increases. Something like for one +6, for two or three +5, for four +4.
If a strong player “parasitizes” you, but at the same time you are in a party with five, then there is a chance that solo matchmaking will select players of exactly the same rank as your strongest player (you can imagine that even if you are the first Kalash, and the strongest player is your already an eagle, then there will be 5 solo eagles against you ... and it will just be a one-sided game ... yours;))

Question. I only play one, and now to go from silver-1 to silver-2 you need to win 6 wins in a row? Is not it too much? And if you lose at least once, then everything is +1.

Answer. Not certainly in that way. You don't need to win 6 in a row... you need to get to level +6 :). That is, if I won 4 and ended up at a +4 level, and then I lost one, then it turns out that I am at +3 and I need to win 3 more to get to the promotion
Unfortunately I can't find a clear pattern of boost when I play alone. Yesterday I got to +5 while playing alone. They didn't get promoted again, so I'm leaning more towards +6 for a single player

If you are like me then rise to legend is routine work. It takes a lot of time, effort, motivation, thought and attention. Some are able to quickly make it through the ladder to Legend in a couple of days, but for most players it takes a week or two, which is a significant investment of time.

But how much time should you consider when planning a month? Let's say you're going on vacation for 2 weeks, are you still going reach the legend until the end of the season? If there is a week left until the end of the season, and you are treading water at rank 15, will you be able to take the Legend? Purely statistically, how long will it take to climb to the Legend?

Today, I want to answer these questions and find out how long does it take to get to Legenda. I've been crunching the numbers and have put together a few ideas that will help draw some conclusions. let's start

How ladder works

Ladder system in Hearthstone resembles nothing more than ... a ladder. Each rank is a "rung" and climbing the ladder is a simple process of winning every game in a row. Everything is very simple.

If you fail to do this, then each defeat or series of defeats will be thrown down a step. After several defeats in a row, you can feel the fire inside of you. Anyway, the journey to the Legend is a climb up a slippery slope. There are no safe ranks, with the exception of Legend. It's possible that you can go from rank 1 and 5 stars to rank 4 (believe me, it's possible).

This means that you need to win more than you lose (if you want to take the Legend). For example, if you are currently rank 5, then you only need 26 wins to get to Legend. But this is if you have a 100% win rate, and if 51%, then 1300 games may be required.

Please note that you do not need a win rate above 50% to reach rank 5, as you get additional stars for a win streak. Since this will complicate the calculations, I have done my best to eliminate the factor using the assumptions that will be discussed later.

Assumptions

I simulated data from players rank 5 and above because:

  1. You need to choose a random point to start, and since everyone starts at a different rank each season, you need something that will fit all players.
  2. Up to rank 5 gives extra stars for a series of victories, so progression on the ladder is difficult to calculate.
  3. The consensus is that players at rank 5 and above are full of players who want to get into the legend - this means that the games will be harder and the decks more focused on the current metagame.

I calculated how much time and games it will take you to reach the Legend. You can use, but first read the instructions below.

Data - how winrate affects the number of games

The lower your win rate, the more games you will need to take the Legend. Your win rate must be above 50.5% if you want. take Legend this season. This chart shows what I mean:

"The more games you lose, the more games you need to win" - Captain Obvious

We see that on the win rate curve, also known as the exponential function, which shows how the number of games required will change with each increase or decrease in the win rate value.

The exponential function in action

Looking at the graph, you can see that the closer to 50% win rate, the more games it will take to reach Legend. In fact, if you have a win rate of around 50.09%, then you should have played 14,000 GAMES! For every 1% win rate increase, the time needed to get a Legend is greatly reduced. This can be seen in the chart below:

The time it takes to take a Legend with different decks

For this graph, I used the average values of game time and waiting time:

  • Freeze Mage: 12 minutes
  • Mid Paladin: 8 minutes
  • Face Hunter: 5 minutes

Feel free to use more detailed numbers for detailed statistics.

I made 3 tables that show how many games you need to play and what winrate you need if you have 50, 100, 150 hours on Hearthstone this month:

Now we just saw a lot of numbers and so we need to take a little break for the eyes, right?

Extracting insights from data

1. Keep accurate win rate records

As I mentioned, it's always very important to know how your deck works so that you can customize your deck, play style, or cards as needed. If you have up-to-date information, it will be easier for you to climb the ladder. Because:

2. The slightest change in winrate affects the duration of the rise to the legend

If you look at the data, having a win rate above 60% makes it very easy to get into Legend - about 126 games per month. If you have a win rate of 50-60%, every 1% change adds 100+ games to reach Legend. Therefore, it is very important to control your win rate.

If your win rate starts to plummet, you need to make some changes to mitigate the loss. You can add or change some cards in the deck, take a break (let your brain rest), completely change the deck, or temporarily switch to another.

3. Be realistic about your expectations

If you have a win rate above 50% that's great! You are much better than most other players in Hearthstone, obviously the overall win rate in the game is around 50% or maybe even lower. How high do you think you can climb this season?

Personally, I set a goal for myself last season - a win rate of 55%, which is decent and the road to the legend should have taken me about 260 games (from rank 5). I finished the season with about 57% win rate, which gave me the opportunity to break into the top 100 once.

4. Play your best deck, no matter how slow it is

Playing the "best" deck in the collection will take the least amount of time to draw a Legend. Of course, there is an argument that a faster deck will get you a Legend faster. But if you're more experienced with one deck than the other, then it's better to play first because it will get you to the top of the ladder faster, even if it's slower.

For example, here we can look at a table in which 50 hours are allotted for the game per month:

This table shows that there is only a 3% win rate difference between control and aggro decks. This means that if you are great at both deck control and aggro, then it is better to choose an aggro deck because you will spend much less time climbing into Legend. But if you're even slightly better at playing control deck (winrate is 1% higher), then it's better to choose control deck to climb the ladder.

If you are much better at playing a certain deck, then you should take the Legend for it.

Spreadsheet

I have made a table that can be used to keep track of the above data. If you want to try it, feel free to download it!

Conclusion

This article should help you simulate a Legend run, as well as introduce you to the most important factors to help you do it faster.

As always, good luck and see you in Legend!

What is a "rank"?

Rank system, the same ranking system was implemented in Counter Strike: Global Offensive on October 30, 2012, along with the 5v5 competitive mode. There are 15 titles in the game, figuratively divided into three skill groups: low skill level, medium and high. The player's rank is determined after reaching the 3rd level of the profile (not Steam, but in-game) and passing ten calibration matches. The system does not take into account statistics in defense matches, public and other modes, so in the first calibration match you will be thrown into other players without a rank. Some of them will probably play much worse than you, and some will play better, but by default the game considers everyone to be a beginner. After each calibration, based on the kill / death ratio and depending on the victory / defeat, the system will select stronger or weaker opponents and comrades, and somewhere in the 7-8th match, it will completely open the veil of secrecy over the potential rank, showing in the final table their rank.

How does the promotion/demotion system work?

Valve is fundamentally not disclosed algorithm, which is responsible for increasing and decreasing to make life harder for boosters and smurfs, but some aspects can be easily distinguished by spending a lot of time shooting opponents in competitive mode. The concept itself is utterly simple: if you win often, you will increase your rank, if you lose often, you will be demoted. An important role is played by the number of rounds won per match. For example, for a match that ended with a score of 16:0, the players of the winning team will come closer to promotion than in the case of the opponent capitulating in the first rounds. The same mechanics works in reverse. If you are ejected from the match by voting or you yourself leave it for one reason or another, this is regarded as a defeat. By the way, if at the end of the match you notice that the rank of most comrades and opponents is higher or lower than yours - rejoice or grieve, promotion and defeat are close, respectively.

Low skill level

Players who are accustomed to seeing mindless shooters in shooters or who are not at all familiar with the genre, after calibration, are almost always defined as silver (Silver). Advanced players rarely miss the opportunity to mock the representatives of this caste, but you should not be ashamed of this title - after all, you need to start somewhere? And you need to start with the development of weapons and the study of maps. The spread of bullets when shooting is unique for each barrel, so don't be lazy and try out every boom stick available in the game in defense matches, public matches or a match with bots. Also in the official workshop, training cards for every taste are waiting for you, maximally optimizing and accelerating the learning process. At this point, try to focus on the easy-to-learn de_dust 2 and submachine guns, especially the true beginner weapon, the P90.

Average skill level

After reaching the golden stars (Nova), you will move to the commune of mid-level players. Here you will have to sweat for fame, put the PP aside and pay attention to the AK-47 / M4A1 assault rifles. They are more difficult to handle in the form of a spray, but they are stronger, better penetrate armor and helmets, useful when flashing thin walls and surfaces. However, you should not limit yourself to classic rifles, vary them with shotguns that cause tremendous damage and, with proper handling skill, kill the enemy with one hit at close range; sniper rifles, allowing you to shoot enemies at a great distance without putting your own health bar at risk (keep in mind that enemies are not asleep and also actively use Scout and AWP). Oh yes, be sure to practice throwing grenades, in the same workshop there are training cards for learning how to throw on all popular maps of the competitive mode.

High skill level

Now you are already the Guardian Elite... By this moment you will know exactly what to do in this or that situation, how to properly control the spread of bullets, where to aim, where to go and where the insidious enemy can wait... and also understand that without a team and proven comrades, further advancement along " career ladder" is closed. Unfortunately, due to the imperfection of the system, cheaters, boosters and smurfs filled the high ranks, preventing the achievement of the cherished goal - the World Elite. Over time, they will receive a well-deserved ban or lose interest in the game, but by the time this happens, you will already have time notably In addition, after cheaters and boosters come players who have risen due to the efforts of these and as a ballast fall precisely into your team.If none of your friends wants or cannot play with you, look for the right candidates in the community or among the good players you've met along the way.

How NOT to Rank Up

Finally, I would like to talk about how in no case should you play, hoping to increase your rank. Everything is simple here: do not turn on the "just come in for fun" mode and do not use cheat programs. In the first case, you will spoil the statistics not only for yourself, but also for four other players in the team. In the second - get a ban and automatically lose the title and the opportunity to take part in competitive matches. By the way, sometimes fate throws you into the same lobby with a person who, after some time, catches it is blocked by the VAC system or a custom "patrol". Alas, you will also be punished for dishonest play, dropping in rank.

For the same reason, it is highly discouraged to use the services of so-called "boosters" - experienced players who play with you for a certain fee, distribute headshots left and right and along the way help you increase your rank in CS:GO. The catch is that boosters for such purposes create a smurf (second account) and use cheats without fear of getting blocked on the main account. And if not, then ... Well, look. Let's say you play at the Kalash level, but thanks to the booster you get to the golden eagles or higher. Now imagine what opponents far superior in strength to you will do to you. One way or another, you won’t be able to stay at an increased rank for a long time, so save your money and nerves.

I hope you found this guide useful, dear readers. GGWP!
