Ladybug recipe with photo

Option 1 (for a children's holiday)

We cut each piece of square bread for toast into 4 parts. Spread cream cheese on bread.

Finely chop the dill and dip the bread into it with the side where the cheese is.

Cut cherry tomatoes in half and place on sandwiches. We cut the olives in half lengthwise and then cut off small fragments from each half (this will be the head of a ladybug). We put the olives close to the tomatoes. The remaining trimmings of olives need to be cut into very small pieces, we put them on the tomatoes themselves to make spots. Draw eyes on the cow's head with sour cream. If you have time to tinker longer, then you can again cut legs for ladybugs from olives, put them in three legs on the right and left sides. I did not do this, I think that it turns out so beautifully.

Option 2 (for a children's holiday)

We will need:

  • square or round cookies - crackers
  • butter
  • parsley
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • pitted olives

Everything is very simple here. Spread butter on crackers (again, you can take cream cheese instead of butter). We put the parsley leaves, put the halves of the tomato on them, cut the pieces of olives, as in the recipe above and put them on sandwiches. We also decorate the back of the ladybug with finely chopped olives. Or, alternatively, you can take black sesame seeds and stick them on a tomato. To keep well, grease the places on the tomato where you will "stick" sesame seeds, vegetable oil. Sandwiches "Ladybugs" are ready.

We will need:

  • slightly salted salmon or pink salmon

  • Cherry tomatoes
  • pitted olives
  • parsley or dill

Lightly dry the bread in the oven or toaster. Lubricate the slices of bread with butter, put the slices of chopped fish. Well, then everything, as I wrote above - we cut the tomatoes in half, put the halves on bread, make the head, spots and legs of ladybugs from olives. Add some greenery for beauty. The sandwiches are ready.

Dry the bread in a toaster or oven. Three cheese on a fine grater, add finely chopped garlic, mayonnaise, mix and put this mass on bread. Put parsley or dill on top. We make ladybugs from tomatoes and olives (see the first option for more details).

Today we present to your attention the original canape-sandwiches in the form of ladybugs, which, no doubt, will decorate any holiday table. Of course, children are most delighted with these edible bugs, but adults will also be pleased with these delicious sandwiches with unusual design. Such an appetizer can be made on cracker cookies or simply on slices of white bread. But keep in mind that cookies smeared with cheese will become soft pretty quickly, so they should be served immediately after cooking. If you need sandwiches to retain their appearance and taste for a long time, then it is better to use bread.

Rinse dill greens thoroughly with water and dry. Finely chop the dill with a knife (it should resemble grass).

Combine curd cheese with dill, mix well (Also, if desired, chopped garlic clove can be added to the cheese with herbs).

To make the "head" of the ladybug, cut the olives in half (if you use whole olives, then at this stage you need to get the bones), cut each half in half again.

The “body” of a ladybug is cherry tomatoes cut into 2 equal parts.

When the preparation of products for sandwiches is completed, you can begin to “assemble” the ladybug: first, spread the prepared dill curd cheese with a thick layer on each cracker (or slice of bread).

Lay a couple of parsley leaves and half a tomato on top. You can make an incision along the center of the tomato, which will resemble opening insect wings, but keep in mind that if you prepare sandwiches in advance, then a lot of juice can stand out from the tomatoes by the time guests arrive.

Put a quarter of an olive to a tomato in the form of a ladybug's head. Using a toothpick, put 2 white dots from mayonnaise in the form of insect eyes. Black dots on the "back" must be made from finely chopped olives.
